-How long have you been growing your hair? Since September 9th 2020 which is my big chop date.
-What is your hair type? Low porosity, medium density and type 4 mostly 4b mixed with a little 4a.
-Do you always use heat to deep condition? Yes every week.
-Do you only wear twists? Yes like 90% of the time. If it's not in twists I'm rocking a high puff.

This is one of my fav DCs that I purchase every Black Friday. Leaves me with hair feeling so smooth and soft, before & after blonde highlights. One thing I’ve learned is heads of hair are so different, even in my own house, my kids hair loves treatments my hair doesn’t and vice versa.
Yes I know what you mean. I was so disappointed that my hair didn't liked it. I read so many great reviews on this product. I'll try it on my girls hair next.
I liked it a few years ago but recently it just wasn’t what my hair needed right now I think because I needed some of the proteins that are not that small I like that it has sorbic as a preservative though. I feel like this is probably great for somebody who has low porosity hair and it’s under a steamer really because it has the humectants

This is straight up the best deep conditioner I ever used. My jar emptied so quick even though I have other good ones I keep using this. It’s amazing imo- highly recommend

This is one of the few Alikay products that works on my hair but you are right the smell is not that great. The Lemongrass line smells great but makes my hair hard
Yes the smell was getting to me after awhile. I bought the styling mousse from that line during black Friday.

May I ask how often you condition with heat versus without heat?
I deep condition with heat every week or sometimes I’ll have to push my wash day back another week if I’m having a busy week. Whenever I deep condition I always use heat. Because I have low porosity hair, using heat is essential for me.
I feel the same I like the smell but it doesn’t deeply moisturize my hair

Do you like the dryer in this video or the hooded one better?
I prefer the hooded dryer. This one had the top of my ears hottt, had to cover them with a towel.

What do you used to help keep your hair strong?
Hey. I'm currently using creme of nature Moisture replenish and strength hair mask. It gives me a good balance of moisture and protein. I like to rotate my deep conditioners each week to make sure I'm balancing the moisture and protein in my hair. So one week I'll use Moisture replenish and strength hair mask amzn.to/3rAX0id and the next week I'll use a moisturizing deep conditioner Curl quenching deep moisture mask: amzn.to/3aw6rcf
Is breakage completely avoidable
It's not completely avoidable due to the texture of our hair but you can reduce it by being more gentle when handling your hair eg.combing, detangle, styling etc.
Do your hair not shed????
