I agree that this bag is no longer worth getting this cute bag. But the bag itself is a great bag. Very function, versatile and trendy, also fit so much. I definitely wouldnt pay more than what they are asking right now and anymore in the future as for sure they will be imcreasing the price of this bag again.
This bag was a nightmare for me! When I first got my hands on it early 2021 I went through 3 bags exchanging because of quality issues. The black leather flap in the front pocket was crooked on a lot of them. Second issue, the small leather tab to secure the leather strap fell off twice, I got the straps replaced for free. The third issue did it for me, the glazing outside around the tabs where the strap attaches to completely peeled off on all 4 tabs(same issue mentioned in the video) This all happened within a year, I have the new version and even with that the zipper was rubbing off around the canvas and causing it to kind of peel (looked like white glue up close). Fortunately I have an amazing SA and they let me return it and I received store credit which I used to purchase a second pochette metis bag this time being the empreinte because I loved my monogram. I would avoid this bag ! Also keep in mind I take very good care of my bags and the LV store manager at my location was shocked at all the flaws the bag had being taken care of well. Nothing really fits in it either as mentioned in the video.

Agreed. I have this bag but exchanged it twice before finding the one I was happy with. The downside was that LV apparently flagged my account because of the return/exchange even though I was a good customer. I also found that the newer bags made in the USA have horrible quality issues. If you're lucky enough to find a French version or second preference, Spain, the quality is much better. Sad to say it but I've seen the same for Speedy's as well.
I really wish I saw this video before I got my PSM in June. You're so right about getting in and out of it. I did get really lucky finding the bag in Paris and it ended up being $1.8K CAD after conversion/duties/vat, which is ~$2K AUS

Y’all. Little tip. Canvas isn’t leather… I see a lot of people Thinking it’s leather. Canvas is pvc coated plastic basically.. it is NOT leather. Nothing about it is. The only leather on the bag is the handles and straps and heat stamps.

I love my mini Palm Springs backpack, it’s my favourite bag and I’ve been lucky not had any issues with it. I get so many compliments on it whenever I wear it. Living in Central London I never see anyone wearing it either so it feels quite special.
Aw Ellie is adorable. I’ve wanted the palm spring backpack when it was first released but it was always sold out. I gave up on it and bought the sperone bb backpack instead and I’m so glad I did. It’s more of my style and it can fit more than the palm spring.

Yep...I had a glazing problem with my Noa Noa bag. But I was lucky that I accidentally noticed after 6 months and the LV store allowed me to choose something else. And I bought Metis. I like it. Metis is probably one of my favorite LV handbags.

I love the psm. Well I am so casual. I do agree with the straps but I do shorten it. Yea the hack thing and I love it. I don’t use my psm all the time I rotate so my straps is still great. I sometimes use it as a crossbody. In time there is gonna be tears. Isn’t all bags have some wear and tear in time of usage? Yea it don’t carry much but it’s the smallest bag I own. The outside pocket is no use for me. If I can rate this bag out of 10 I’ll rate it an 8. It’s the design and the look. Coach use to make the backpack like this I wasn’t able to get one. I use the strap of multi pochette on mine so I wear it like a sling/Crossbody. I'm a 2 bag girl so keep all my essentials/valuables in my Palm Springs and my other bits/book/ipad/charger etc in a Tote ❤️❤️

The zipper is really smooth on this version compared to the older models where the canvas would cover the zipper. I can easily unzip the bag with one hand. The canvas does feel softer compared to some other LV bags but I think that suits the backpack style. It’s not meant to be a super structured bag - it’s super carefree and fits a lot for a mini bag 😊

I’d say go for the Palm Springs Mini! Even though there’s a few cons with the PSM, I still love and it makes such a cute theme park/Disneyland bag - and you don’t have to worry about staining the leather because it’s already treated. I think the PM size is a tad bit big and the mini bumbag is a tad too small. You’ll be surprised at how much the Palm Springs mini can hold ☺️

I want to sell it to buy an OTG in empreinte leather but having difficulty parting ways with it. Fashion wise, I love the look still!
Totally agree! The opening is soo fussy. You don’t realise it until you actually start using the bag. I think you would really enjoy the OTG. I know a lot of people who don’t get along with the Neverfull but love the OTG 😊

With the removable straps, you can actually wear this as a cross body bag with the straps as a regular handbag strap. I've also put both straps on the same side and just worn it up front as a backpack but the bag in front and cross body (if that makes sense!).
100% yes! I’ve used mine sooo much already and it hasn’t even been a year since I’ve had it. It’s really pricey when you think about the materials used to make it, but I like to look at it from a cost per wear perspective. It’s so functional, versatile and makes me happy whenever I use it. Not to mention it’s so carefree so I enjoy using it more ☺️ you won’t regret it!
After hearing all the issues with the PSM I wanted to put it out of my mind but just couldn’t with how cute it looks. I finally tracked one down, looked it over for issues (which is ridiculous to be playing quality control). I looked at the alignments, glazing, made sure it wasn’t made in US. I was stupidly thinking maybe I will be lucky and nothing bad will happen. Used only once and saw there was a popped stitch on the strap. Unbelievable there would be a problem after one use. Maybe the popped stitch was there before and I couldn’t catch it since it’s black thread on black leather? After a ordeal with dealing with LV, they told me they would give me a new strap. There’s actually a huge difference between my old straps and the new one. I actually noticed my original straps had very weird edges that were not smooth (almost sharp) and had tiny little bubbles which the CA told me that was normal 🙄. The new straps are a lot smoother and not as stiff like my old ones but still not perfect. I tried examining in store and asked them if the straps were new but I came home and saw the hardware clasps have scratches on them whereas my old ones were better looking. 😪 lol can’t really win. So now I’m just waiting for the day my leather tabs will start peeling off…
Oh noo! That is ridiculous! LV should’ve given you two new straps as a set rather than replace one. And they should’ve been brand new 😢 sorry to hear you’ve had so much trouble with your PSM. I hope you can still enjoy the bag despite the quality issues with the straps. It’s still a super cute bag and on the plus side, at least there have been no issues with the bag itself which is the main thing. Thank you for sharing 💞

Omg I had the same issue ! It happened twice and they "restitched" the little tabs but they ended up ordering me brand new straps for free. Still didn't fix all the other problems I had with the bag, I wanted to love it so bad.
Personally I feel like luxury backpacks are a no go, since you’re even at a higher risk to being pickpocketed without realizing you have been, not only that but Kanken makes good quality mini backpacks, and to add onto that lululemon makes good quality belt bags (referring to the LV bum bag) and I feel like if I can get a good quality bag (and if branding matters to people, a good quality branded bag) then I won’t spend that much money on that particular bag style if there’s a good quality appealing alternative, but I also understand the desire to want a particular bag and still having your mind on it after trying to find alternatives and in that case it’s justifiable. 😂 just not for the average person :)

How would you descruce the material and zipper? Does it feel sturdy like other bags? Or softer?

I also think this bag looks like it's for a kid. It's very small. Looks weird. The PM size is nice and the straps at least are comfy.

With the removable straps, you can actually wear this as a cross body bag with the straps as a regular handbag strap. I've also put both straps on the same side and just worn it up front as a backpack but the bag in front and cross body (if that makes sense!).

100% yes! I’ve used mine sooo much already and it hasn’t even been a year since I’ve had it. It’s really pricey when you think about the materials used to make it, but I like to look at it from a cost per wear perspective. It’s so functional, versatile and makes me happy whenever I use it. Not to mention it’s so carefree so I enjoy using it more ☺️ you won’t regret it!
After hearing all the issues with the PSM I wanted to put it out of my mind but just couldn’t with how cute it looks. I finally tracked one down, looked it over for issues (which is ridiculous to be playing quality control). I looked at the alignments, glazing, made sure it wasn’t made in US. I was stupidly thinking maybe I will be lucky and nothing bad will happen. Used only once and saw there was a popped stitch on the strap. Unbelievable there would be a problem after one use. Maybe the popped stitch was there before and I couldn’t catch it since it’s black thread on black leather? After a ordeal with dealing with LV, they told me they would give me a new strap. There’s actually a huge difference between my old straps and the new one. I actually noticed my original straps had very weird edges that were not smooth (almost sharp) and had tiny little bubbles which the CA told me that was normal 🙄. The new straps are a lot smoother and not as stiff like my old ones but still not perfect. I tried examining in store and asked them if the straps were new but I came home and saw the hardware clasps have scratches on them whereas my old ones were better looking. 😪 lol can’t really win. So now I’m just waiting for the day my leather tabs will start peeling off…
Oh noo! That is ridiculous! LV should’ve given you two new straps as a set rather than replace one. And they should’ve been brand new 😢 sorry to hear you’ve had so much trouble with your PSM. I hope you can still enjoy the bag despite the quality issues with the straps. It’s still a super cute bag and on the plus side, at least there have been no issues with the bag itself which is the main thing. Thank you for sharing 💞

It’s so ridiculous right?! You’d think if you’re spending so much on a luxury bag, their quality control team would pick up on things like this. Especially with the massive price increases we’ve seen recently, it’s making it harder to justify these purchases 🥲
Omg I had the same issue ! It happened twice and they "restitched" the little tabs but they ended up ordering me brand new straps for free. Still didn't fix all the other problems I had with the bag, I wanted to love it so bad.

Personally I feel like luxury backpacks are a no go, since you’re even at a higher risk to being pickpocketed without realizing you have been, not only that but Kanken makes good quality mini backpacks, and to add onto that lululemon makes good quality belt bags (referring to the LV bum bag) and I feel like if I can get a good quality bag (and if branding matters to people, a good quality branded bag) then I won’t spend that much money on that particular bag style if there’s a good quality appealing alternative, but I also understand the desire to want a particular bag and still having your mind on it after trying to find alternatives and in that case it’s justifiable. 😂 just not for the average person :)

It’s the Peony scent! I have two candles of it - it’s soo nice and elegant smelling 😆 I also really love English Pear and Freesia for a more fresh scent 😊
