Battery tender IS a maintainer, battery tender is just the brand name.
I didn't know there was a difference but know I know. Interesting the brand is Schumacher :)
It can be a bit confusing. Depends on what you need it for.
Is it okay to start the stored car every so often with the battery maintainer still hooked up to the battery? Or… should the maintainer be disconnected before starting the vehicle? Thank you!!!
I am sure you can do that but I always disconnect it. Make sure the cables are not touching anything in the engine bay that moves or gets hot.
