Let me know what your thoughts are on our changing work culture!
I am a millenial. who joined the workforce in the darkest of the big depression, in a relatively high shocked area of europe. I grinded in corporate high stress jobs during 10 years, and broke down. Then i moved to a startup, remote role, that i enjoy more. However i came to discover that there is no job in the world that i will like for all my life, so my next step is to start my own side business, make someone else work for me, and build from there. Not looking into building the next billion dollar company thought, but more like how can i get a small advantage with my digital and AI background in relatively traditional services to at least jumpstart the cashflow.

I think Gen X had/will have it the hardest. Being raised /worked under the Boomers we have been taught to work hard to get to the next level. Now that FINALLY Boomers are ready to hand us their prized positions it wont be the same because we will have to fight tooth and nail to get Gen Z to focus on work/being productive.
Im ready for a promotion and like others who are in my position are thinking twice about stepping into a management role because you cant find good help these days. Watching my current boss struggle to keep things together is scary. Great boss, but basically non stop hiring because the new hires last 3-6 months tops. Sad....

As a Gen Z, I'm getting sick of everyone ragging on my generation. Like, I get it. A lot of us complain about the realities of life that we should be expecting. But from my experience, it's not so much that we hate the idea of working, or that we're unwilling to put up with it, it's that we use complaining as a way of connecting to other people and saying "Am I alone in feeling this way?" It also doesn't help that expenses are increasing way faster than most wages.
Yes, some of us are lazy, entitled, and don't want to work, but that's the case in EVERY generation. We just communicate differently. (Again, speaking mostly from personal experience, not saying that these people don't exist.)
Great video; however, Maslow's heirarchy of needs is meant to be a guide so majority of people understand. For some, it could be upside down or shaped like a column, an hourglass, diamond, etc.

Who said retirement? Do I hear the sad voice of a Gen X desperately wanting to get this retirement because all his life he was in the simulation office-prison? No one is paying for something that was never his.
these gen z are extremely annoying to work with, all they do is yap yap yap, stops working the moment you turn around. Absolutly disgusting.
