jeff, in the top of the 2nd inning you had mccarver up at bat. you rolled a 1 2 13. the column on mccarvers card said a 1 2 diamond homer 1-6. a 7-20 would have been a fly to right. on that scenario, you would credit mccarver with a flyball out due to the fact you never got to the diamond homer symbol because of the 13. I could be wrong, but I don't think I am. frank s

I think you are incorrect. The Ballpark Diamond means one refers directly to the ballpark effects chart for result and ignore the reading on the card. The 20-die was 13 and resulted in a home run on the ballpark effects chart; that is, 1-17 is home run in Chicago. See p. 13 of the SOM instructions.
