The insert looks good, it’s designed to hold exactly the number of pieces you need for each board size. 3x3? All the pieces in the top row. 4x4? Also take the pieces in the second row. 5x5? Add the third row. Etc. Good stuff.
The second edition is nice for the storage. But man ! How nice was that tavern board from the first edition. Thanks for sharing this. Because of you I got into Dao, Shobu, Onitama, and now Tak. You opened my eyes on abstract strategy games 🤘 I really like these kind of games..
Thanks for this nice comparison video. I did order my Tak game today, 2nd edition, and cant wait to get it to the table. And subscribing to this channel now.
I made my own board since I liked to have a wooden one. I used sandpaper on a second hand game board and pained on a pattern I liked. Quite easy to do! And it feels way better than the cardboard and cloth boards I had earlier!
I’m so sorry to trouble you, but when you liked my question about whether the 2nd edition is made in the US, was that a yes? I’m still struggling to find a concrete answer. I really appreciate your help

I’ve played Tak a lot but I don’t have a box my dad hand crafted a set for us to use. Amazing video Joyce gained a subscription
They both look like a lot of fun. I have never played Tak. A very fun video. Thank you.
Thank you for watching! I love Tak, great game!
The Funk is high with this one.
I have the Heirloom edition by Wyrmwood games. Looking to sell it though
Solid video. Wish you can do a video of the actual game play.
Thanks for watching, there is one up on the channel and another coming up
So sad that actually there is no possibility to get the beautiful Arcanist board 😢

Is it still made in the US?

Hi, the first edition was made in the US, I’m almost certain the second edition was made in China
@@DualBrainGames thank you so much! Also, bummer! I still had to order one, naturally. :)
