- Hey Nerds! I hope you're all doing fantastic. Here is a little video about all the Frankenstein editions I have. Please don't hate but appreciate. If you think I seem uneducated, its probably because I am. If you think I am bragging is mostly because I just like to share my joy with all of you. Comment below what edition of Frankenstein you own and which one is your favorite! Love you all!

A lot of classics are public domain, which is why there's 100s of different versions of Frankenstein. Dracula is one I'd love to collect myself. Great video!
After knocking around here on Earth for 70 years. I’ve recently decided to finally read “Frankenstein”; and glad you liked best the edition I’m going to purchase. You’ve probably realized by now that your favorite (Penguin Deluxe) edition of Frankenstein has “deckled edges” 9:31 and your least favorite edition has cool “end papers” 4:26 🙂 Im wondering, do you still have that deckled edged edition?…All the best.
Me: I studied hard but still failed the exam.
Mary Shelley (author of Frankenstein): I gave all my fortitude to studies, but still blundered my enterprise. I indefatigably read the books, but failed the examination ignominiously.
You have no idea how much I've been looking for a Frankenstein collection video (only found one and now this pops up in my notifications! haha). I LOVE Frankenstein, it's probably my favorite book. I still need to get a copy in English. I have three editions in Spanish. Most of the editions I've seen in English are of the 1831 version, in Spanish I can only find the 1818 text. I don't know wether to get me the 1818 or the 1831 in English. AWESOME COLLECTION!!
WoW! no way! thats such a coincidence. I love it when that happens. I am so happy to have found another Shelly lover. I have only read the 1818 text so I would definitely recommend that one because its the original. But to be honest I dont exactly know whats the difference between the two texts content wise. Thank you fro watching and commenting :D good luck in getting the perfect copy!
@@EnbyReads Terrific coincidence! Yeah, I've only read the 1818 text as well. I've read that the 1831 version is more critical of Victor's actions and some scenes are different. I hope to find a nice annotated edition of any of them.
thank you so much for letting me know! I will research more on this :D
I love Frankenstein so much! I studied it in high school and I was obsessed with it so much I’ve read it like 5 times since. I love the idea of collecting all the different editions, I might start doing that myself as I only have the paperback penguin classics edition. 🧡
wow! so cool that you have read it so many times, hopefully I will too one day. I am in such a big reread mood! Thank you for motivating me. I think its fun to collect editions, but definitely not necessary ;)
I am the only person in my class who enjoys the novel. Everyone else hated I.
The BEST Frankenstein adaption is Bernie Wrightson Frankenstein. Not only is it a labor of love but it also has an introduction by Stephen King. You MUST check it out !!!
wow, that edition is BEAUTIFUL! Thanks for telling me about it :D
I haven't relized how much I loved Frankenstein till this video. What a good book that I really need to reread soon.
Same! I am happy you got inspired by this video :D I really want to reread it as well, its so good!
I bought my first copy today! It’s the new pink hardcover (Puffin Books) with his green face on the cover
oooh I love the whole look (hair, makeup, everything)*also love the book video -lol
Thanks love!
2:01 it’s because the book Frankenstein is public domain meaning that after 70 years (from what I think/remember) after the creator of something dies anyone is allowed to release it.
3:46 I don't know why but it is my favourite edition 😢
Sweet collection. You can never have enough Frankenstein.
Hello, I've been looking for the Frankenstein book for a long time but with the cover that appears in the Ana with an E series, I wanted to know if you know where they sell it, because I've been looking for it for a long time and I still can't find it. Thank you very much, very good video :)
use translate I hope it is understood
Love your collection. I also am wondering why many publishers can print this book.
Thanks! It turns out its public domain which means that anyone who wants can publish this book. It's free to read online and just print if you want. I think thats very cool!
Hello, tell me the publishing house of the book at minute 4.25 and 7.25 and 10.41 thanks
Can you please suggest some 1818 Frankenstein editions in English???
Its pretty easy to look up, but almost all Frankenstein editions are the 1818 version

I have a new frankenstein edition from Barnes and Noble. It has a cool pop art cover and I figured I'd share it with you. If you want to get a link for it go ahead and message me and I'll send it to you along with a picture.
huh, i don't think I know which one you're talking about unless you mean the one black and red fake leather cover?
@@EnbyReads no I'm not talking about that one. It's a different one that has a picture of Boris karloff's Frankenstein on the front cover.
2:54 cover looks like her 😳
ahhhh love your eye makeup!!
Thank you :D :D
to answer your question, Frankenstein is in public domain, so anyone can publish it!!
hahaha I HAD NO IDEA! I will definitely research this now, because I am super interested :o does that mean I could publish an edition if I wanted? CRAZY!
@@EnbyReads Yup! It's also just legally free online. H. G. Wells' books are all public domain too.
LifeGoofer you can if you wish!! lol
