  • This was a bucket list Idea to do some fishing and camping on a Pontoon!
I was in Boy Scouts growing up and even made it to eagle, but after I turned 18 "adulting' took over and I rarely did any of those activities. After seeing the way the world was going I decided I needed to brush up on my self-reliance and outdoor skills. So in January of 2021 I began hiking out into my woods, building fires, shelters, cooking, and doing other bush activities. I decided for my own benefit I would film and catalog these trips, and track my progress along the way. You are watching me learn in real time.
In this video series you will see me learning survival skills and enjoying nature in various forms including; bushcrafting, firemaking, campfire cooking, fishing, hunting, and foraging. In many videos you will be invited along for the journey as I camp in every possible environment from under the stars, to bushcraft shelters, to tent camping and even some vanping in my van and luxury camping in campers.
In the fall of 2021 I built a small cabin in one of my favorite locations. Many of the videos take place there as well.
Big thank you to Brandon "Cooper" Wilson for the "In the Bush" graphic

"stranded on abandoned pontoon for 24 hours"

I firmly believe titles of your videos are your only problem.
Your content should be getting many many more views.
I think the only thing holding you back is very creative drawing titles.

you may be right. The problem is I don't want click bait titles. At least I don't want to lie about what I'm up to. you help Is greatly appreciated!

@@TheRockstarFarmer I don't know anything about anything, but I believe from my observation it's a little confusing when you talk about your RUclips channel "in the bush"
I don't think that directs people to your RUclips channel called the Rockstar farmer.
Perhaps create a second Channel called in the bush with the Rockstar farmer.
Post the exact same content with more imaginative titles and see how that goes.
I don't see how it would add any cost to you other than a few minutes posting the same content to a second Channel.
I believe I would start with your very first videos with different more imaginative titles and see how that channel does, you already have 80 videos to post to that channel over time, I believe it's worth a try

I'm no professional, but from what I have seen on RUclips over the years you need better titles to catch the attention of the algorithms,
    Something like: "abandoned pontoon camping"
"Floating on water for 24 hours"

    • @TheRockstarFarmer
      @TheRockstarFarmer  Год назад +2

it wasn't an abandoned pontoon so I just cant in good faith title it that.

    • @TheRockstarFarmer

however, I really appreciate your input and I am now going to be looking at my titles and shooting for something very creative that can grab people's attention. Thank you for your input!

@@TheRockstarFarmer well technically no one was on it or using it when you boarded it.
Many things are perspective, "the day I almost died" can realistically be any day, because daily we never know how close to dieing we actually come.
Titles and thumbnails seem to me to be the secret to success on RUclips. Many are a little misleading initially but not actually lying.
