    I really never cared for Little Guy or T@B trailers in the past. However, you guys have outdone yourselves. Not only is this more practical, it's beautiful! I think this is better than the small Airstreams. If I have to say what I don't like about it is that at 21 feet, I want it to sleep more people. I don't like the glass door or the placement of the toilet paper holder. There is a market out for larger families who want smaller trailers that can sleep more people. I wish both ends had an option for bunks or a suspended bunk. With all of that said, this is truly a major improvement and an amazing rig! Kuddos to Little Guy!

      I finally got to see one of these in person, and I loved it. I just wish it was possible to make each sleeping area into bunks. There is a movement with large families that don't want huge campers. I would consider this camper if I could sleep all of us in it. It's still very nice!

    Can it be upgraded for 4 season living? Insulation around the tanks and pipes? I wish it had a lot more solar and tank sizes for boondocking for long periods of time. I also would give up the microwave for a small convection oven if possible. I love the floor plan, it’s perfect.

    Finally decided to move into a travel trailer full time. I've been looking at teardrop trailers, but this seems to be perfect. I've been comparing the Little Guy Max to the new T@b and it seems better based on the videos. I will go and view both next month to make a comparison. The only downside is I will have to get a new vehicle, which I wanted to avoid. Also, I wish this trailer was built 3 years ago so I could get a used one. Not a big fan of buying new travel trailers. Other than that, this was an excellent video and!

      Hi! I'm also on he same search. I love the extra storage and nice kitchen with a small freezer. I will make a similar shopping excursion ~ hopefully this summer. I'll be scaling down from a 32' Class C and not sure if my Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo can tow Little Max. Randyl

      we saw two diff ones on a lot near us in NC, they are so far and above the quality of others this size, i was shocked. my 'claustrophobic' 6'2 husband loved the open feeling, gobs of natural light, large bed, high ceiling, low maintenance floor (T@B 400 has fussy flooring just waiting for damage)...and we loved all the 'techy' adds throughout. Windows are just so amazing, with ability to have light, air, and privacy all at same time. Can't wait to get one. Finishes are light a modern house very high end.

    No on demand water heater, like a Trumo? didn't see a place for CPAP units around bed? no mention of black tank flush. fold up sink in bath an easy addition? as an option can more flexible solar panels added? Really almost perfect.

    • @LittleGuyTeardrops
      @LittleGuyTeardrops  7 лет назад +7

      Hey Bob, we have had experience with the Alde system in the past we we found two main issues:
      1) The time is takes to heat the water and the unit (furnace mode) takes longer than a traditional system
      2) RV dealerships and customers have a hard time performing repair work. Those heating systems are so new that not many people can troubleshoot them on their own and even dealers can have a hard time
      There is a dual 110 and dual USB at the head of the bed but was not show on the video. No black tank flush but we are looking into that. A second solar panel could be added. We do not have a bathroom sink right now but are looking into that as well.
      Thanks for watching!

      6 Gallon water heater is so 1970s .I have a Trumo on demand system works flawlessly and fits where a standard 6 gallon cheapo one fits. Nice trailer the alde system sucks the Trumo does not. Bob did not mention Trumo manufactures who cheap out on this will just lose sales to the ones that spend a few bucks more to put in what people want. In Canada this thing is 38 thousand dollars!!for a small trailer my 35 foot trailer is 13 years old and still solid paid 20,000 new it has a fireplace king bed all aluminum framing. This trailer needs a Trumo do not cheap out for the price of this 15 or 16 ft trailer the tongue does not count. Also get a proper door for the bathroom no one wants to see you shit . Also put a sliding door to separate bedroom and make the shower headroom the same at the trailer. Lots of tall people nowadays.

    to me the tongue weight is way to much.. as a teardrop builder i would say pull the tires in to the hitch or add another axel...350 pounds is a pretty heavy tongue weight... but thats me i guess..

      You can always ALSO use a portable stove and plastic tubs for a sink outside. The indoor galley is great if it's raining like hell and you need to heat up some water or cook something. Then you can sit at the dinette, drink your coffee or tea, and watch your camping neighbor struggle to get their tent up in the driving rain-- very entertaining!

    Who's the person that decided a see-through bathroom door is attractive? I've seen them in different RVs, and I for one don't want to watch someone taking a dump. Yes, you can probably put vinyl wallpaper on it but why would you buy something that even needs that? And it will get dirty and start peeling.

    So, only 660 lbs. of cargo allowed? That seems limited with all of the storage area you give the owner. No black tank flush? No sink in bath? I don't like brushing teeth or washing hands in the kitchen sink.

      A fold down sink in the bathroom would work. I've seen some residential toilet tank/sink combos, too. I'd also give up the space above the refrigerator for a larger capacity option since I eat fresh fruit and veggies, and I hate to cook, so when I do, I make large batches and freeze/refrigerate 3/4 of it. The black tank flush is the deal breaker for me, though. It's such a small thing, but makes a huge difference.

    • @brandell4638
      @brandell4638 6 лет назад +3

      The 'other brand' has the fold down sink as well as black tank flush. However- the frig is half this size. Always pros and cons I guess.

      My biggest problem is how in the world is the dry weight of this thing so much when there's so little space. I understand quality materials etc - but holy jesus. 3,140lbs for a teardrop like this is just crazy imo.

      i actually like the glass door. it makes a small space feel a little less confining. but can understand the privacy angle. easy fix: just hang something on the outside of the door, like a tapestry or something similar. done! but wish there was a sink in there and an option to insulate floors, plumbing for 4 season use.
