Let me put it this way it's what got me hooked on crawlers. It says on the box it's waterproof but it's not more splash proof you can get away with shallow water no deeper than the top of the axles. But as I found it's hard to resist deep mud and water so I upgraded mine with a 25kg waterproof servo from banggood , a hobbywing fusion Pro. I still run the standard transmitter and receiver. I just waterproofed the receiver with clear nail polish on the circuit board and then covered the casing in hot glue it has never broke. I hope this helps whichever crawler you decide to get you'll find that you just want to push it to the limit and beyond. Anyway happy shopping and happy trails 👍👍
@ace_rc79 I was thinking of the ftx gladius that looks awesome plus it's about the same price but I've been loving the look of a crawler for ages just never had the pennies to get one that i want but then the gladius has come out it has everything of a trx4 but half the price
Very true the only thing I will say about the gladious is portal axles, I have the rgt rescuer/ftx tracker it has portals and they are quite fiddly when it comes to repairs and don't get me wrong they are tough check out some of my other videos just remember that the mini servos are not waterproof 👍👍
