Brighton who says to a baby goat: "Go on sweetie!" ... just melted my heart!
I think that is the goatie that's named Sweetie.
Diane S all the children seem so sweet
And he was very convincing with his, "This will be the best salad you ever tasted."
Mine too!
Yes so sweet.... the baby goat’s name is Sweetie 💕
I love all of your videos. But the fact that there were moments with no music, just the subtle sounds on the farm, made it feel even more real and relaxing
So nice for Brighton to give the goat a gentle scratch.
I don't know how you keep your little house so clean but you do. Maybe the children are big enough to help. I know with all that you do Bri that you don't need a pill to sleep. The iced coffee looked good. I am going to have to start making some. Love your videos and love your family.
👏👏👏. WOW.....what an awesome video filled with happy barefoot kids not running from the rain but loving life. You’ve done so well this year putting the garden as a priority and putting life on the pastures and all the family wearing big smiles doing it all. And amazing videos to share your journey. Thank you for sharing the beauty of your land and such happy healthy kids enjoying work and play. Each video gets better and better and really I didn’t think that was possible. Just a beautiful mini movie you never wish to end. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Brighton’s “Best salad evah “. Too cute.
You could just feel the pride your son had bringing you into the barn show you his jet ! That's what it's all about.. . . plus no game system, smart phone or internet connection necessary !
Yes certainly is "ANOTHER GREAT DAY ON THE HOMESTEAD" Just like a birthday. Bless you all :)
The last few nights I have watched your video before I go to bed, with a smile on my face. Thank you. 🥰
Aww ... "The mud grew into grass". Such a simplistic way of seeing nature.
Your family always bring joy, smiles, and peace to my heart. You all are truly blessed. I love how you teach your children so many things & the value of good work ethics. Bless you! 🎆🙂❤
That was the best 20 minutes I've had in a really long time. Art and Bri, I wish I could articulate the joy your family brings to me. Your children are proof of excellent parenting. You're both full of patience, kindness, and of gentleness. All other the B attitudes actually! I aspire to be a parent, a homesteader, and even better person because of you guys. You're my kind of people. Shalom!
I cannot get enough of all the sweetness in your family!! Beautiful!! Another Great Day! ❤️
You know how you went and got refreshed at the Rhodes, I could totally pitch my tent right by the herb and flower garden. 😂😂😂 I find it hilarious that going to another homestead to get refreshed is what most of us homesteaders do. It truly does something for our souls. Love y'all!
I totally hear you! 🥰
Do yall have a channel ?
I , agree! I go to a fellow homesteader’s place to keep me inspired.. they’ve been homesteading for 25 years and I’m in year 10❤️
Thank you all for sharing your moment's. God bless you all.
By now twins are over 1 year old. Miss you beautiful people. Grace maybe such a grown woman and Joyful. Older boys have grown so big by now. Love and blessings and healing to you!🙏🐕🐶🐑😸🐔🐖🐮🐄
💞❤💕💖🌻🌸🌼🌷🌺Always love your family videos.
My boy said "She doesn't look exactly like you, buy she looks like you happy and clapping and talking about planting sweet potatoes and things." Made me smile! Love you guys! 😁♥️
Many precious moments of your children in this video. You and your family are amazing. This grandma from Ohio says, please keep the clippers away from Wilder.😳
My four children are grown up, so it is fun to watch your kids enjoying life in the country. It brings back happy memories.
Such a BEAUTIFUL FAMILY❣️🙏🥰❤️🙏💕🙏❤️🥰🙏
The kids are getting so big...growing like weeds! They are so sweet and precious
Your videos make me sooo homesick. After living in NC for 62 years, I had to move to another state. Its land, flora, and fauna are completely different.
My son went to the Arthur Morgan School and I remember the wonder of the mica everywhere. The very ground sparkled. For years I carried a massive mica rock with me, sharing the fascination of peeling layers off with many children. So beautiful.
By the way Art are you still working as a nurse? I have retired as an RN for 1 full year after 43 yrs of practice. Loved it, do not miss the work but the people, yes. And last evening, a friend call for advice re an elderly friend. Once call was done, I was energised: taking history, explaining situation, thing to watch overnight( of course he did not want to go to hospital ER or ED as definitely needs medical evaluation) recommendations. It felt good to help and be on the ball. Stay safe!.
Understand, retired about 19 months ago after working as RT for 41 years.

Bri: Don't dig in the beds
Wilder, as he begins digging: She's obviously not talking to me.
😁
Lol!
I'm so happy for you all. Me and my family aspire to have our homestead one day. This is so beautiful to watch, It would be a dream come true to at least begin to build our homestead. We love watching your family work together, spending time together, learning together, family dinner time, etc etc. We are a family of 13 and we know once we start on our homestead it's gonna be the greatest thing we've ever done. Thanks so much for being who you all are and doing what you all do.
Brighton! What a sweet sweet and gentle soul he is....
Your garden looks magnificent.
Brighton is so sweet with the goats!
While you guys are taking a break to take care of art I'm watching through old episodes. I started watching you guys last winter when you got stuck at Jess and Miah's house. Crazy to see how much you guys have been through and that you're still pushing forward! You're an amazing family!
The BEST way to raise your family , God bless
Alice looked like she was talking. What a Great Day. 👩🦳👩🦳👩🦳💕💕💕
That is one lucky cow having some luscious pastures. Yum sweet potatoes planted. Wow, fireworks, lucky kiddies. Take care all xx
Another great day on the homestead - with those 5 chidlers lined up at the end - it couldn’t be more perfect! 💖
That was a beautiful family shot there at the end. Your homestead is so gorgeous with all the trees and mountains in the back...Your garden looks divine
I have to say that your children are the sweetest ever. From the way that they speak to the animals to the way that they harvest in the gardens. Loved the raspberry feeding and how the one little said that this is going to be the best salad ever. And then runs away. :) So sweet.
Just loved it when Brighton said this is the gonna be the best salad you ever had..........
You are so right Bri - Beauty, Beauty! So good for the soul!
You probably don't have much trouble getting those kids to sleep at night. What a wonderful video. One of your best in my opinion. Thank you so much for sharing.
The sweet potato tops, cooked like spinach, are a great addition to the table. We have raised them for many years and we really enjoy eating them. Many people who raise sweet potatoes do not know what they are missing when they do not try eating sweet potatoes.
Blessings!
Such sweet kids! The salad story reminds me of our three year old years ago. We were having a stir fry with parsley and tiny bits of veggies. She look up at me and says, "Mom they is bugs in my food!" 'Oh no, honey that is just the little seasonings in there', not looking at her plate. She carefully observed her food and said "But they has wings!!" I took a closer look at her food and sure enough there were little tiny gnats all over her food. She was sitting under the kitchen light, the gnats attracted to it, had been falling into her plate. Poor kiddo!! I tried to always believe her after that, parenting it keeps you humble. :)
Miss your family so much you are the family that got me started watching Home steading
Your garden looks awesome I love hard working family . And the food you get for winter is awww
Those goats are mowing machines. I love to watch them.
Your home is so beautiful and your land is gorgeous
You sure know how to make a person smile. Love you guys!
Fun Fun! Always nice to take a little while to enjoy family time after everyone has worked hard all day!
All your babies are adorable but I loved, "This is gonna be the best salad you ever ate!" Priceless! I'm addicted to watching you guys!
That little boy. Oh God he is so cute. God bless all of you.
Kids are growing like crazy. Everything is looking good!
Your family is putting a lot of effort and time in the garden this year and it really shows. Blessings on your harvests
It was a great day on the homestead - thanks for sharing that world.
That was adorable.. The best salad you’ve ever had!
I’m sure you had the best salad you ever had!
What a Fabulous Family you have & you both are such GREAT PARENTS raising your children in such a natural environment. Love your garden. Cheers Denise - Australia
Nasturtium seed can be pickled and used as poor man's capers. The flowers in the garden are a feast for the eyes😍😍😍😍😍
Recipe please for pickled Nastertium!
5:16 love this
Look at the food security of your gardens 1 Your family did this ! Blessi ngs !
Nasturtiums are edible
Not only do they look good, but they taste great too - in fact, you can eat the ENTIRE plant! The leaves have a slightly warm peppery flavour similar to watercress and rocket. The flowers are milder with sweet nectar.
Garden is JAMMIN!
It's past midnight here in India and even as I was watching, I saw you have the iced coffee and had the urge, so went and made myself some 😊
Oh my goodness! Such joy and beauty! Loved the look of the lunch table, especially as it looked as though you were about to break open a huge bottle of gin!!
You all bring me so much joy. I cannot express the blessing your videos are.
What a fun day on the homestead with those cute kids. Love you guys.
Totally enjoying the close-ups!
When I plant nasturtiums I don’t soak them. But I do take a metal nail file or knife and scratch a mark in the seed shell. This helps the sprout to break through it sooner.
Thanks for that tip
Thank you for such a lovely beautiful video. Greetings from Australia, I just adore your family videos.
Always great to get things done and still enjoy family fun time..
Have a good day 🌻🌻🌻
All your boys are so expressive and sweet!
I so love nasturtiums. I agree they are useful, and they are beautiful!
So many sweet happy smiles....happy family.
Just love how the kids are growing!! So sweet!!!😃💜
Have you seen the sunflower cubby houses? You plant a thick ring of tall sunflowers and the kids can get in the ring and play.
Those little bits of nature that you show us makes me so happy. I am home bound and miss being in the thick of nature. Hugs and Prayers ya'll
Wilder is the cutest lil' guy ❤❤❤
I love your families channel so much! After watching I always pray for your family to be blessed and protected. Youremy fav You Tube channel!
That was the warmest good-bye!!!
Your gardens look fantastic. Love how you are raising your kids. Wilder, that little bit at the end was priceless!
Sunflowers bring in the yellow birds. They are so beautiful.
That is Brighton?!?!?! Oh my word he grew up so fast!😭 I've missed you guys. I've been absent for a bit. It's good to see y'all again!
ETA: As far as stink bugs in the salad...I was told by a chinese friend of mine that they will actually substitute dried stink bugs for cilantro in dishes...😳 so apparently they are edible.
I love that ending
Such a sweet family.
God BlessAll of You.
I love seeing nasturtium flowers in salad. I’m fascinated by the compost pile experiment and looking forward to seeing your results.
You all are such a joy.
Love sun flower's also plant sun chokes...can eat the root..
I can see your hearts are all at peace, yippy. : ) peace
You have the best kids. "Best salad ever" is music to a gardners ears. They are catching on learning where their food comes from.
What a great video! I just look forward to watching your videos every day! God bless you all! May your garden remain plentiful!
This was a sweet video🤭Brighton is so cute helping with goats... loved it all!!

I LOVE iced coffee after being out in the heat - I roast decaf for my afternoon iced coffees and it’s the perfect way to get in my treat without ruining my sleep!
