my ideas for IQ 1: Change her gadget to a specialized scope for primary weapons that tags electronics for allies (imagine teamwork with thatcher or twitch) 2: her wrist scanner can permanently disable ANY electronic device (3 uses) (direct counter to pulse) (can disable holo/laser sights) 3: wrist scanner can hack defensive cameras to be used
In my Opinion, *Monty* (Montagne) is a S-Rank Operator, because if you have 4 premates and one is good at *Monty*, you have a very high change. But in solo queue, with stupid teammates...
Had one match before where my brother was rolling with Monty while i stuck to my Twitch. He rolled in full-shield and i just walked behind him, shooting over his shoulder. 2-manned a whole team. On that same note, i finished a match last night where everybody got to watch the final killcam of my Jäger boxing a Monty to death. Was beating on his shield for a solid 20 seconds before he made one misstep, turned the wrong way, and let me knife him.
Gotta love sledge, one game the whole enemy team were focusing on a certain area, I bash down a wall right next to them and get half of them before being noticed. Sledge FTW!

I think Montagne really shines when youre playing hostage games or playing terrorist hunt. being able to make yourself large enough to cover an entire other operator is pretty valuable when youre extracting
IQ is actually a really good operator. Think about it. She counters echo, jager, bandit, kapkan, valk, and pulse. She also takes out the normal cameras. Now think about any other operator that counters that many people.

The best part about Glaz is being able to counter spawn campers. I think that's something you shouldn't discount. At higher levels when you face teams that know where to setup killer crossfire on your spawn, he can dispatch them for your team and provide the needed cover!
I really think these lists are excellent because although as you said, any class in the right hands can be devastating, this shows which ones people should go for first. Each class can make you feel comfortable or uncomfortable based on your play style, but you don't know unless you try

Good round up, the only one I'd rank higher would be Sledge, due to the fact that having grenades can wipe out a couple of enemies before they've even seen you.
It would be really interesting if IQ was able to control/see out of enemy cameras, it would force the enemy team to decide between shooting out their own cameras for defense or using them for offensive purposes. Plus it would be a hell of a lot better than her current gadget.
+Houndz glaz is fine the way he is. giving him the ability to see enemies through smoke would make him the best operator by far. just toss 9 smokes, let glaz kill the whole enemy team without them having a chance to react and the rest if the attackers rush the objective room
Twitch is a top rank operator. She's like thatcher, but more sneaky in the way that you can disable jammers and active defense systems, without the enemy knowing where you are. When as if you were playing with Thatcher, they generally know where you are. Plus, that FAMAS hits like a TRUCK. Overall, very nice, solid list.
I thought I'd note IQ can see Pulse's camera when he is using it and can be amazing for coordinating with a thatcher. She's also a great counter to valk
Montagne can be a lot of fun, especially if you're playing on bomb or hostage and you trap the last guy in a room or something as your team completes the objective can be very humiliating to the enemy team.
IQ could be increased in armor. She could also have her gadget available on her primary weapon making her a better suited anti Pulse user. She could than have some legitimacy against Pulse in weapon sense. As for Montagne, I like him for his scouting abilities. You don't have to be left useless with head in a small tablet. You can go down stairs or enter a doorway with the extended shield, and, although you can't shoot, you can give a general sense as to where your enemies are with 3D scan or if you have teammates with microphones. Those are just my thoughts on balancing IQ and my perspective on Montagne.
I swear by glaz when working as a team. Simply because a teammate can spot someone on the other side of one of castles walls, and as soon as they're spotted, I just light them up with Glaz and get a kill 90% of the time. He's decent if you're lone wolfing it but he's great when going in with friends.

I didn't know Blitz earcups were a hit box that explains my strange deaths with him. But I'm glad he made the A class because I don't see many people play him very well. My self included but the potential is great with him. I had a four flash kills in one match.
What people don't know is that if you punch a castle door or window it will break after 15 hits. Although long, you then will break through a mute castle window
Thatcher, thermite, and sledge are my favorite attackers. Kapkan is probably my favorite defender because I get at least one kill a game with the traps and I like his gun. Then castle is probably my second favorite defender.
IQ is actually useful to be honest, only with teamwork, as she is the only one in the game to be able to see through a smoke. This can be used to clear a room safely without running the risk of being shot as soon as yo go in. On the other hand you need a teammate to smoke as she cant carry her own smokes.
yea i agree. I think Ubisoft thought more people would pre stage their gadgets such as smokes bombs or nitro cells but no one does that because they make to much noise... i think if they nerfed the sound of placed explosives she would be pretty useful.
The castle mute combo does have a HUGE weak spot though, you can destroy castle's barrier with 12 hits of a gun and since the barrier is bulletproof, you don't have to worry about enemies. Although someone breaking in like that can be solved with a good old nitro cell

I agree with your rankings. Although, IQ can be AMAZING if you are going against a skilled Pulse. She tracks him, and she has a better range than pulse's heartbeat sensor, so her gadget is pretty much better than pulse's.
I one hundred percent agree except for Montagne, even though teamwork makes him a beast I've played alone to be a piece of cover and accumulated the most points for my team by protecting them and only getting two kills after a whole ranked match

IQ as a defender could have been S rank in my opinion, if she could detect breaching charges, drones, grenades etc... as a defensive operator with her weapons would be amazing in terms of holding down the fort with that crazy good LMG along with that ability to detect breaching charges can make good callouts
I think in order to fix IQ they should simply make her scanner mark enemy electronics for you whole team for a few seconds. Then a Thatcher and IQ tandem would be absolutely amazing.
I agree with the list completely however IQ is my favorite operator yes she doesn't have the best gadget but the guns that's she has make up for it with mostly low recoil and a pretty good amount of firepower. She is better suited for flanking so if her and sledge work together they can take out really the whole team. I've been in situations where I had to take out the whole team by myself and I either get kill everyone but 1 or win the match. Throw a suppressor on her assault rifle or lmg and you have one op operator but she can be useful in any situation if she's put in the right hands
I think IQ's gadget needs to be a attachment on her weapon. If you could target the electronics in her scope and shoot them easily, that would make her a good class.

IQ's "worthless gadget" actually helps us see through the smoke which is produced by our smoke grenades or by Smoke's toxin grenades.

I think the list is solid, but I would put Twich and Montagne down there with IQ and bump Glaz up to A-tier. You should also do a defender list.
I like Glaz the most because of his gun. his gun is basically a one shot kill to the body or head, and a down on leg shots.

if you punch castles barrier about 12 times you can break it so the castle mute combo is able to be broken without Thatcher, just takes longer
Sledge is also the only counter to the castle mute combo you talked about earlier :)

I think in order to fix IQ they should simply make her scanner mark enemy electronics for you whole team for a few seconds. Then a Thatcher and IQ tandem would be absolutely amazing.
I agree with the list completely however IQ is my favorite operator yes she doesn't have the best gadget but the guns that's she has make up for it with mostly low recoil and a pretty good amount of firepower. She is better suited for flanking so if her and sledge work together they can take out really the whole team. I've been in situations where I had to take out the whole team by myself and I either get kill everyone but 1 or win the match. Throw a suppressor on her assault rifle or lmg and you have one op operator but she can be useful in any situation if she's put in the right hands
I think IQ's gadget needs to be a attachment on her weapon. If you could target the electronics in her scope and shoot them easily, that would make her a good class.
When you have a team, Montagne is amazing. Just open up a door and walk in fully extended and let your team shot around you
totally agree with your list mat and just as you mentioned .. a IQ rework would be nice!
