When I first smelled the original LA Nuit De L'homme (LNDL), I was instantly in love. Then I smelled LNDL Le Parfum, omg, for me it was another instant love. Eau Electric and the EDP are just likes, but are good. Overall I agree with your take on them all.
Personally, YSL La Nuit de L'Homme Frozen Cologne is easily my favourite interpretation of this one, it's also the most versatile. Such a shame they discontinued it so quickly. Well worth tracking down, though.
Muddy I agree! I bought 2 bottles on eBay because I love it so much. It’s VERY close to the original. I would say even 90% the same, except it’s just a little less sweet and slightly fresher.
La Nuit De L'homme Eau Electrique is my absolute favorite,I really love the sweetness and freshness to it as opposed to the original which is more bitter and to earthy smelling,great job my lady....
Out of YSL La Nuit de L' Homme I have tried EdT, Eau de Parfum and Le Parfum on my skin. EdT basically disappeared after an hour or so, EdP left an unpleasant kind of chemical trail on the dry-down, Le Parfum smells best on me, however it does not last that long on my skin. It does keep well on clothes though. Btw. your accent is mesmerizing! 👍

I love the bottles of the YSL collection. It's so unique, and also very distinguished and elegant. I remember walking in the beauty department of my favorite store years ago before I was familiar with Yves Saint Laurent and saw the bottles. I thought to myself, those must be very expensive.

I agree from the ones iv tried the original is my favourite, although I know you didn't do that one the L'intense is very different and I love that one too. Thanks for such a well thought out and detailed fun video
Very nice review Clemence, There is a fragrance I'm sure you will love called Lanvin Avant Garde. Its discontinued now But still available, The price point is a lot higher now then when it first came out, It averages about £30,00 To £60.00 depending on bottle size, But very very similar to la nuit de l'homme the original. But very much richer in smell. Better performance than the current formulation to. I hope you find this information useful. Thank you and Good luck.
I love the original. I haven't got my nose on the other ones, but I don't want to spoil how much I like the EDT. The creamy cardamom just makes me happy and calm.

I have ofcourse La Nuit de L'Homme and it has always been one of my favourites. I absolutely love it. So I guess I am a bit of a hipster... LOL.... I am really considering getting the Le Parfum, so this video and the one Robes08 and also the video by The Fragrance Apprentice has really helped.
Just got Le Parfum. Smells nice, intense and sexy. Definitely good for evenings, dates but even office. It's not offensive. I'll see how it is after few days of use..

YSL L'homme nuit - Intense, Ultime and Eau Electrique. L'homme nuit so far is my preference but i've only just started to understand the popularity of the fragrance. Eau Electrique gets compared to Versace Eros and Ultime gets quite a bit of love too. So i shall give them a try when the weather warms up and we can go out again. Subbed.

Not two years ago, I began to punish myself for having opinions of fragrances on paper. 😂 I suppose to give a recommendation you need both (and possibly more since skin chem changes from person to person and day to day), but I always felt like a couple of full wearings were the bare minimum. I absolutely get the plasticy leather from the edp too. Just like you, my personal fav is still the original. Appreciate the breakdown Clemence!
I did not see here la nuit de L'homme L' intense EDP. Wich I think smells good. And La nuit de L'homme frozen smells good as well. But my favorite is the original O.G EDT have five bottles can't get enough.

Yves Saint Laurent is my favourite designer house. I own l'Homme Ultime and Opium pour Homme EDT and a decant of Opium pour Homme EDP vintage 90s, love love love Opium. One of the manliest scents ever.

Amazing video but i don't find a precise review about La nuit de l'homme EAU DE PARFUM ; i read you tested it another time and you like it, i wanna buy it, but could you tell me if this version is like "deodorant" (like axe..etc) or if it's a good perfume, cause there's not enough reviews online.
It all started with L'homme. That's the original vampire as one says. Dua Midnight Rendezvous is a direct copy of La Nuit de L'homme EDT if La Nuit de L'homme was kept in it's 2010 formula. YSL should have kept this version forever. Otherwise that's why flankers exist. YSL should have kept the Cumin. Dua added that back in. LNDL L'Intense has a lot (Vanilla/Patchouli / Orris Root/Tonka Bean /Sage). Quite good. LNDL Eau Électrique is a sweeter version LNDL.( Apple/ Lemon/Cashmere/Tonka Bean/Geranium/Sage/Mandarin Orange/Vetiver) Less sweet than JPG Ultra Male Intense,but more sweet than LNDL. LNDL Le Parfum has ( Black Pepper/Labdanum/Anise/Vanilla/Patchouli)

J'aime beaucoup la nuit de l'homme malgré sa mauvaise performance, hier j'ai acheté un nouveau parfum unisex de chez la maison voltaire & zadik for us, je l'ai trouvé très très sexy, et très doux, avec les notes de la vanille et le santal. J'espère que tu l' essaie, je suis sûr et certain que ça va aller bien avec ta personnalité et ta douceur. Merci pour le sentiment adorable que tu me donne.

I think it's because of the lavender but I find so so sensual on men tho

I seriously think that the original La Nuit smells very similar to Nautica Voyage without aquatic note and with added spices...
It all started with L'homme. That's the original vampire as one says.
Dua Midnight Rendezvous is a direct copy of La Nuit de L'homme EDT if La Nuit de L'homme was kept in it's 2010 formula. YSL should have kept this version forever. Otherwise that's why flankers exist. YSL should have kept the Cumin. Dua added that back in.
LNDL L'Intense has a lot (Vanilla/Patchouli / Orris Root/Tonka Bean /Sage). Quite good.
LNDL Eau Électrique is a sweeter version LNDL.( Apple/ Lemon/Cashmere/Tonka Bean/Geranium/Sage/Mandarin Orange/Vetiver) Less sweet than JPG Ultra Male Intense,but more sweet than LNDL.
LNDL Le Parfum has ( Black Pepper/Labdanum/Anise/Vanilla/Patchouli)

Can you please make a review about the guerlian ideal flanker? I’m so in love with the guerlian ideal EDT original . It’s so sweet so woody so citrusy so amazing !
