Thank you sir!
Keep the videos coming man, they’re great.
Thank you sir!
where did you buy your machines at... trying to buy me a Fadal VMC 2016L (2000 model)
I buy all mine direct from Sirco, but then again they only sell Haas so I’m not much help!
@@LetsMachine dang. Alright thank you anyways for the reply!
No felt step where the op 2 & 3 met?
Very minimal, and very easy to get it dialed in to within a few thou.
i'm curious, what the cycle time was ripping it down with the 1" indexable? we use a longer 1/2 end mill with trochoidal milling and I think that would be faster than doing multiple ops.
My guess is that he has to hold some tolerance and removing that large amount of material in hot rolled in a single op causes some major warpage. Also there are high feed indexables that cut steel really fast. It would have been nice to see some of the cutting. I agree that " Dynamic " or " Adaptive " toolpaths probably would be faster mrr then a traditional APKT style insert, plus less handling.
Yeah adaptive clear would’ve likely worked as well - potentially faster. We were flying at like 60 ipm with .1” DOC I believe - it really hammers through it quick with these Mitsubishi cutters
Could you make a video on finding and getting contract jobs. Like where to look mostly
Hey man, what do you think of the Lang workholding system?
I’ve never used it! I’ll have to look into it
