Hi. Thanks for the video. I have a few questions:
    1. For proof of funding for JSV stay for 6 months, do we need to have the money in a German bank with blocked account at the time of visa interview/application itself at VFS?
    2. Is there a preferred company for Health Insurance that Germany accepts?
    3. What is preferred to fill application for JSV offline at VFS at time of visa interview or fill application online before taking the appointment?
    4. Do we need to have the travel documents (return flight tickets) for the JSV application before getting the visa?
    5. I checked the VFS website and it has a tab named "Certification Services" what is that for?
    6. Do I have to be loan free to be eligible to apply for the JSV?

Hi Freya, Thanks for your message.
Here's my opinion on your doubts:
1- There are three diferent things mentioned in one sentence:
A- Money in Bank - This can be in any of your Savings Bank account. However funds must look stable, and should not be sudden incoming from external source.
B- German Bank- Its not mandatory to open/hold account only in German Bank. Any bank will do.
C- Blocked account is an option (however mandatory for Students Visa). In my opinion if there are good funds in your savings bank account, then Blocked account will not be mandatory for Job Seeker Visa.
2- Here is accepted list of Insurance companies. Make sure you take Travel/Health insurance from one of these only.
      india.diplo.de/blob/2001160/cc58ff2d4af2e57febaf65788167a530/overseas-medical-insurance-data.pdf
3- First you take the appointment and then fill and print JSV application. Better to fill it beforhand and take print.
4- Return flight ticket is not equired.
5- My upcoming video is on Certification Services or Anabin Equivalence. Please stay tuned.
      6- No
Most professionals for JSV are already under home loan. Still they easily get JSV. So in my opinion, loan plays no role for JSV.
I strongly suggest you to see all my videos in below checklist. I have covered numerous aspects related to JSV:

Hi Siddharth, thank you for your valuable information.
I have one question regarding the conversion of JSV to work permit
Suppose I choose city and landed in to Frankfurt and well in advance from my home (India) I booked an appointment in Frankfurt ausländerbehörde.
Then I started looking for job in Germany and fortunately if I got a job in the Munich, so in this situation do I have to convert my JSV to work permit from Frankfurt ausländerbehörde or I must have to do it from Munich ausländerbehörde?
I believe ausländerbehörde is a immigration body it’s noting to do with the place of visa conversion. However, looking to get information from you.

So basically two appointments are important. 1st Anmeldung einer Wohnung and 2nd appointment with Ausländerbehörde.
One question, should both appointments be in same city or different cities are also fine?

    • @FirangiFiles
      @FirangiFiles  2 года назад +2

Both should be in same cities.
Actually, for us, only that Auslanderbehorde is responsible where we have angemeldet ( ie city Registration done )
If you change city, and register in a new city, the Auslanderbehorde of that new city will handle your case.

@@FirangiFiles Hey Siddharth, pl do a informative video on various cities if you can. Though its a offbeat topic, but could be helpful and maybe fun for you too to share your perspectives as you have lived and travelled across.
I dont have much contacts in Germany, but based on my research about jobs/cities i have strategized FRA as my initial battle ground for following reasons:
      - Power Hub, MNCs, Big Metro city, ofcourse majorly Financial organizations but also many other insurance, product based companies are HQ'd in FRA that i am hoping to get into.
      - A comparison of relevant postings of my area across cities on the pivot chart didnt really reveal much. The opportunities were scattered across all the popular cities, in some cases of family run manufacturing companies they were rather a bit townish location wise.
      - FRA: Centrally located. Should be easier to get to either of cities z.B. Hamburg / Berlin / Munich in need for Jobs/interviews.
      - Also was able to notice the convenience of better flights from India based on Price / overall fly time / airline choice / connectivity.
      - What else..... Ummhhh, specifically avoided Munich for the initial days due to sky high price of everything in Munich. Similarily avoided Berlin for another contrasting reason, though Berlin is relatively the affordablest i guess and also the biggest city but like i sensed from my reasearch and also from your various videos that BER being the melting pot of cultures there is an extra grind in trying to find housing, appointments at Ausländerbehörde etc.
      - could have opted for Hamburg, Stuttgart, Düsseldorf but then thought to keep it simple and rather stick with a metro city with enough Indian community as the objective & mission of initial days is to get a job and start work with all the support and ease of initial setup possible in a big metro.
Just trying to pick on your brains here.
What was your strategy like back in days when you were coming on JSV ?

If you already have work Visa (which I understand is Work Permit or Blue card) then you can directly start job.
However, in case your Work Visa is valid for 3/6 months, then you need to reach Auslanderbehorde for Visa extension

@@nomad3912 it doesn't result in a catastrophe, but may interfere/elongate your JSV to Work Permit/Blue card conversion process.
