Hey everyone :) just wanted to quickly say that the dream catcher that is in the background was gifted to me by an initiated shaman ❤️ As I already received a few questions on it, I just wanted to clarify that real quick 😁
A shaman still had no business giving you that, it's part of Ojibwe culture. you probably should have looked into native American and first nation creators if you wanted a dream catcher
@@LittleMissEmoGurl I'm Ojibwe and I have no issue with people having dreamcatchers or burning sage as long as they give thanks to the culture and people who gave it to them.
Silas Rose my aunt got me a dream catcher from Bali and I think when I had it up I had nightmares and sleep paralysis. Do you know if there's a reason for it?
@@kimikosmith7071 Not sure, dreamcatchers usually don't work from my experience unless it's made from someone who's been making them for a long time. The string pattern matters too, if there's a hole in the middle it means it should work, if there isn't then it's just decor.
@@rihannaboehringer1074 Same! I don’t know why but all of a sudden I went on Pinterest and was searching up witchcraft and tips and tricks and I’ve just wanna learn about this stuff it seems really interesting.

1. Read/Research as much as you can 2. Write everything down 3. Take your time, you won't learn everything in a week 4.Join a group/community (Discord, Reddit, Insta, etc.) 5. Make sure you double-check what you read, people make mistakes 6.Know the difference between Wicca and witchcraft 7. Wicca is a religion, it's not for everyone. 8. Protection is important (Physically, Mentally, Spiritually, etc.) 9. Don't worry about fancy tools and/or altars, tools are optional 10. You can substitute any tools you want (a chopstick instead of a wand, white candle instead of and another candle color, etc.) 11. It's okay if you miss a full moon or Sabbats, you're still a witch. 12.Practice meditation, intuition, mindfulness (You don't need to sit criss cross with candles next to you and have an empty mind to meditate, just do something that makes you stop thinking about the world and just feel) 13. Spells shouldn't be your first option for every obstacle in life 14. Spells don't always work immediately, give it time 15. You are still a witch/Wiccan even if you don't practice daily Bonus tip: Nature is your best friend (If you are feeling down take a walk or sit outside or just connect to nature) Sorry if this was inaccurate, I tried lol. Enjoy!
@@Anne-oo1py that and meditate before so that your intentions r clear when doing the spell without all the random thoughts that might enter. That's what I've heard a lot too but that's just what I've been reading and watching RUclips videos

nomnom hey! i'm a baby witch here too :) you don't need any special materials to do witchcraft, you can find most things you need in your house. i would recommend watching "The Witch of Wonderlust" on RUclips, she has great advice for baby witches & broom-closeted witches like me and you :)
You can still go outside. The virus doesn’t spread as well outside i’m pretty sure. You could go in your backyard or take a walk but keep your distance from others 🥰

I became really interested in Wicca and witchcraft I feel like I have found my path. Naturally I wanted to talk about it and told one of my friends I was reading and researching about these topics. She got scared and tried to get out of the conversation, I tried to tell her witchcraft and Wicca is not what they tell in the stories or movies but she sounded uncomfortable so I let her go, called her again but didn't answer. She messaged me and told me she was feeling tired and would call me later but it's been a while and haven't heard from her. I understand because if someone had told me about this topics a couple of years ago I might of reacted the same way, but I still can't help to feel sad about it. I'll probably won't bring up this topics with my other friends and definitely not my family at least not right now. My interest in Wicca Paganism and Witchcraft have not changed I am still very interested. Perhaps you have some tips on how to deal with situations like that 🤷
Aww girl I’m sorry :( if you ever need a fellow witch friend HMU, I know how it feels to have friends treat you that way over a new path. Hopefully she will come around to it eventually but you shouldn’t feel the need to hide your path or not talk about it w anyone :( sometimes people hear witch and think you’re either crazy talking about Harry Potter magic or you’re evil because of their abrahamic beliefs. You know the path isn’t dark or evil, it’s full of respecting nature & working with it. Perhaps better explaining that it’s nature based and energy based, and you’re wanting to spread light not be “evil” maybe she will come around!
The best we can do is try to explain Wicca, the worship of earth. Most people think of witches as bad, human- sacrificing cursors. We are represented wrong in the media, but we must explain what we do. Some people don’t accept it, which is okay, sometimes it’s like that. We can’t always change people’s beliefs about us, which is okay. We know what we do and why we practice Wicca, which is all that matters.
Sometimes when you find your path, at the beginning it may get lonely. Unfortunately, we don't want to let go of friends and family we love but not all are going to accept you for what you believe in. They may turn their backs on you. Don't take it personally. Some may never want to be in your life again and others will just need time to adjust to the "new" you. Just be yourself and follow your heart and everything will fall in place where it may. ❤

3:30 - read as much as you can - look into history, paths, where it comes from, what it actually is. this is for better experience and you can use books, videos and websites. 5:45 - write everything down - one of the ways for the brain to hold onto the information and you will be able to look back at ur start ~ a book of shadows 6:30 - take ur time - don’t be overwhelmed take ur time and concentrate as best as possible don’t feel like ur missing out on anything it’s normal to feel intimidated you won’t learn everything in a week it will take time. you will always be learning 8:36 - ask questions and join communities from people - facebook/instagram/reddit is a good way to find people to talk to and you can learn from them 10:05 - dont take everything online real - double check or even triple check if u need we are humans and all make mistakes 11:17 - make sure u know the difference between witchcraft and wicca - understand that wicca is a religion so treat it with respect and be open minded 11:57 - wicca is not for everyone - there is plenty more paths this contains rules and beliefs which may not a line with u 12:30 - protect urself - make sure u understand how to protect urself and to make sure u have your boundaries in place i apologize i didn’t finish this but i hope it helps a few people who are watching and need a smaller definition, love the video btw

@@cloud6318 Ok so since your a baby witch like me for our first year go torwards Protection spells and potions but did you start doing your research on pinterest?
i’m 16 and i feel like it’s a really late start but i want to learn, not sure how my family will feel about it but but are there any books anyone would recommend? i know almost nothing. where do i even start??
hey! 16 too and a baby witch (dw you totally arent late at all), but i’ve got a couple tips: first, think about what you’re drawn to. there’s so much info out there and it can be overwhelming, so pick an area you’re really interested in and learn all you can. do you like plants? candles? the ocean? astrology? personally i’m into runes, herbalism, and crystals, and i read a lot of forums, online wikis, and managed to cop a book on runes. if you have a library card, see if they have any ebooks (they especially seem to have ones on “home remedies”; you can learn a lot about herbal properties in those). dont forget to write everything down! if you’re worried about your family seeing it, do it in your notes app, but i personally think you retain more if you write by hand. nothing fancy, just a binder and some loose leaf. finally, don’t rush into spells until you feel confident that you are ready, and keep it simple until you build up stamina. hope this helps! :)
I’m 32, age has nothing to do with the path you’re meant to follow 😀. I’d recommend reading anything by Scott Cunningham, the books are a little dated but they are great resources.
I’m 13 but have been interested in witchcraft for awhile. I recently found out that a lot of my close friends practice and are quite experienced despite being young so I sorta understand your situation.
I'm 13. I started around 6 months ago and these types of videos have been really useful. I have 3 other friends who are witches and my bff is more serious about it and easy to talk to. 💞💞💞
Nobody- Me- starts reading into wicca cause of tik tok and I wanna be exactly like misty on AHS cause she was so kind and free. I wanna be like that sm even if I cant bring ppl or things back, I just wanna be so kinda and happy
I have been doing research and studying for over 5 years, and yet I'm still here! I love learning, but sometimes maybe I get too invested in research instead of relying on my knowledge and intuition!
Hi! I'm 12 years old and have had a obsession with Wicca and Witchcraft since the age of 7. I've been to many stores that focus on Wicca and other magical practices and have always turned the owners head as soon as I walk through the door. I've been told that my aura is light and that I am an old soul. Lately I've been disconnected from my spiritual self and am rewatching these videos to tune back into my former glorious and happy self.
I feel you! I also have ADHD and books are tricky for me unless they are novels. I’ve been reading certain books for months now because I keep getting distracted. I think the best is to keep in mind that there is no pressure to reading and no ‘due date’ either, so take your time if that is what works for you. What could possibly also work is audio-books 🙈

Hi! I'm 11 years old and starting to get into the religion, Wicca and witchcraft. I've purchased books on Deity's and spells, Crystals and tarot, and on the history of Wicca. I'm especially into the " a little bit " series. I've watched hundreds of RUclips videos hahaha, and I've gone looking into many different forms of the religion. I see comments telling me to stay away from spells that could have bad intentions or bad outcomes.... How long should I stay away from it? Please tell me in the comments. Anything would help me, tips, tricks, what not to do and what I can do.
Sup Mocha Cookies I myself am only just starting in Wicca and witchcraft but I have been researching and looking into this stuff since I was your age (I’m 18) and one tip I can give you is to keep researching and stay away from spells till you completely understand the possible repercussions of your actions and stay far away from Hexes. Start with simple things like meditation, grounding, sigils, and the like. Even then be careful as you can really drain yourself if you do to much before your ready. However, while I advise caution try not to take as long as I did and do what you feel is right and what you’re comfortable with. The only reason I waited so long to actually try is because my family’s possible reactions made me scared cause I’m from a fairly catholic family and I regret letting that hold me back.
hii!! i’m around your age (12) and i’m also extremely interested in the magical world of witchcraft. i started last year so if you would like to have someone to talk to that is your age and somewhat experienced i’m more than happy to help you learn although i still need time to learn more myself!! do not listen to people who try to gear you away from something you enjoy. if you truly enjoy wicca and witchcraft then by all means educate yourself and pursue those passions. however i would recommend looking into all the spells and know that some can be invasive and dangerous so please be safe and don’t harm yourself or others. make sure if you are trying to manifest something or cast a spell that you have the right intentions and you know what you would like. also, you mentioned deity’s and i’m telling you because this is extremely important! deity’s will get very mad if you don’t provide them with offerings which is why i wouldn’t work with deity’s until you are more experienced. i myself cannot bring myself to work with such powerful beings just yet. trust me, wait until you work with deity’s! i would recommend starting off by just educating yourself with all the details of the past, like wiccan/witchcraft history. it is extremely important you know about it’s history. then research about zodiacs and the different types of witches (there are many) and which type your soul feels more gravitated too. write down all of your work and try to spend more time in nature or outside (please be safe nowadays) then you can try working with crystals and herbs first then work your way up to spells, and tarot cards and then maybe if you are comfortable enough work with a deity. however please do not feel obligated to fit under a specific guide, do what feels best for you! you will know when it is your time to work with different things. also another tip is that you don’t need to have fancy wands or equipment, most of us baby witches or very experienced witches actually diy their own things because there is a better connection with the tools which is why i prefer to diy them!! i hope this helped you a bit with your confusion, it’s a lot to take in but witchcraft and being wiccan is a lot of work! just don’t give up and keep doing you! if you ever need more tips just dm me on instagram @magluvs i’m always opened to talk or help you with anything if you need someone your age!!! i hope your doing wel!!! ✨🌙🦋🌸🧚🏼♀️
hi i’m 13 & i’ve been wanting to learn about witch craft since i was around 9 or 10. my family would never let me look into bc they’re christians does anyone in the comment section have tips on how to still practice but as a closeted baby witch? also any books or tipsfor very very new beginners, i know absolutely nothing..
A small tip for you is to stay away from hexes and spells. Hexes and spells can sometimes backfire and cause harm to you and they're also quite draining. There are also entities that can cause harm so I'd say stick to protection jars and such for beginners, and if you do try to do a hex or spell please be careful and do it properly. Hexes can backfire and they can harm you or you can even sometimes hex yourself. I would say to stay away from them for 1-2 years, or once you become an intermidiate witch you can start using them. Also stay away from deities/contacting them for a while.
I wish i was so lucky,i found out about the religion when i was 10 (i'm 11) but my grandma says that i can't be in it no matter what so...i'm just gonna wait till i'm 14 so i can get a part-time job and pay for things myself and my family won't be able to stop me

I wanna be a witch. I’ve gotten super spiritual over the last few months (thanks to quarantine) and I am super interested in witchcraft and Wicca but I don’t live by myself and I don’t know how my parents would feel about it.
You know when you come across someone and just watching the way they are makes you feel like they have not one ounce of negativity in them? That's you. Especially in this kind of thing it is soooo important to see honesty and to hear advice that resonates with one's own honesty. Thank you.
When I was little I was always drawn to my dad’s friends’. They gave me a pendulum at around 5 because I wouldn’t stop asking them to show me what it did. However, I’m not sure if they should have? I was always drawn to nature, astrology and nature. I’ve only recently found out about witchcraft but maybe I’ve been drawn to it my whole life? I don’t really know much about it but I’m slowly learning. My dad also has another friend who is quite experienced in this and I’m going to ask my dad if I can meet her.
I just started today and lucky enough it was a full moon so I charged my pendulum and got moon water. I have a lot of information written down and I'm SO happy
3 months ago I discovered Wicca and I practise witchcraft now! This was so helpful, I really love the community 🍄🌹🌸🌼 Also just got my first Wiccan book to study at home, it comes in 4 days!!
I'm 23 and I'm so fascinated with stuff like this! I've been so amazed with learning stuff like this and I'm obsess with African goddesses and deities. I just started doing my research today! And would love to know more about how to become a wiccan or baby witch. 💕
Africa has sooo much history on Witchcraft and folk practice, it’s so fascinating! I would actually suggest reading up on some anthropological papers on witchcraft and folk magick in Africa and go from there. Wicca is a bit more European focused but witchcraft as a practice is global and Africa has a lot of different magick ❤️
Oh sorry 😁🙈 So I would suggest reading a bit about African Witchcraft and Folk Magick, and there are quite a lot of articles done by different researchers (the field of research is called Anthropology, most people don’t know what it is so no worries lol - I just got my bachelors in it so thats why I know what it means😅). There is a looot of research and information now about African Witchcraft and rituals etc so I think you should be able to find lots of info on it 🙏🏼
I would say that comes with time and reading more. Usually it would be best to start small, so doing protective work and meditation and general research and with time you learn what you feel safe doing 😊
I've been on the path of traditional witchcraft for almost 20 years now and I still find information like this helpful. So thank you for this content. The one thing I've really learned is; keep learning.
I don’t know why but your mirror in the back felt weird to me. Not visually, visually it is a nice looking mirror but it feels like there is something there in the mirror? Sorry if this sounds weird but just thought I should let you know
I think it's because it's tilted but it's not very clear that it is, so our brain might be thinking that the mirror is straight while showing a tilted mirroring
Milo yep it’s tilted, but I must say I don’t like having mirrors faving the camera, I am still trying to work on my filming setup and hopefully will have a nice one soon once I move 😅
I appreciate your videos so much I started being drawn to Wicca almost 15 or 16 years ago when I was in high school. I even have a little “self dedication” page written when I was a teen which I just rediscovered a while ago and it made me smile. Over the years I have researched my little butt off and have come to the conclusion that Wicca no longer suits me and I am now just practicing witchcraft, without the religious aspect. It warmed my heart to hear you say that “maybe Wicca was simply the stepping stone to find the path you are meant to be on” because for me it was Blessed evening!
I have been wanting to get into this kind of stuff for a while and your videos have really been helpful. I’m 12 and and think this is the path I want to take 🥰
I'm 41,and have loved everything about witchs and herbs since I was teenager, but I lost my way for a bit,but I'm currently getting back into it.I have orders, lots of herbs off etsy.I was lucky that growing up my parents used to buy me witchcraft books, which I'm enjoying reading again, but like you said reading is key.I don't really like to label what kind of witch I am,but saying that I would say I'm more green witch,I love herbs and plants.xx
I've always been interested in witchcraft basically my whole life. I remember being drawn to Hettie's rock shop near my house when I was only 4 years old and I got my first crystal when I was 6. I also have a third eye for spirits, and I always find comfort with the nice spirits that resonate in my house. I'm 14 now and I finally think my third eye can be helpful to the world, and I'd love to learn witchcraft so I can control my abilities.
You could have been a witch in your past life. Since your interest in Wicca started at such young age. You already have all the knowledge inside just have to tap into it. 👩
after more than 6 months of reading and researching this video really helped me get up and ready to start my Wiccan path. So thank you so much for helping me get started Ella :) may the Earth grant you much happiness and success in life 💖🌙 ✨

I want to eventually get books and do research but, when I start collecting things, is there anything I should stay away from before I am able to protect myself, I don’t plan on doing spells anytime soon but I want to know what is to far.. please someone inform me I don’t want anything bad to happen before I get the information I need. I also have been having a lot of dreams feeling like I should get into this sort of thing, I’m not sure what they were about because I never thought about it till now
Ayo Its Jasmine hey, fellow baby witch here! From what I’ve been reading, I’ve learned to feel free learning and looking into the fae and faeries but DO NOT WORK WITH THEM. If they give you something, it’s a life long contract not a gift.
Stay away from dark magic. Any spells that alters others feelings. Go in with a open mind open heart nd full trust. Dont do anything your gut says not to do ! Yoir young you have along way to go and it's ok to mess up
I'm 10 years old and started when I was 8. I've done spells for things like finding our cat that went missing before, stuff like that. I have a tip for the spells :D Focus all your energy on what you want. clear your mind and try to only think about that thing. like meditation. and try to take deep, slow breaths! all the spells I've done included this and worked well. I hope this is helpful to you!
1. keep in mind the 3 fold rule (everything you do will come back to you x 3) 2. dont do love magic (i personally count it as dark magic because it alters someone's free will) 3. if you ever want to do magic, consider doing a basic tarot read beforehand
i have a real bad struggle with my mental health, and as much as i love my practice, its difficult to keep it a constant in my life, i end up going through ebbs and flows of inspiration and depression. So i just want to thank you for tips that i can easily incorporate and try to weave into my routines and habits, just as little bits of mindfulness and reminders, it means a lot to me. Hope you have a wonderful day/night
I just stumbled upon this video after getting back into witchcraft. I used to practice pretty regularly but life and work got in the way and I've found myself with the time to really get back into it and establish my relationship with the earth again and it feels so good. But every time a sabbath went by I felt this insane amount of guilt for not celebrating it (usually because I had to work and was not allowed to take time off). This was such a good reminder than I shouldn't feel like less of a witch for missing them. Thank you ❤
this is kinda hard for me to share online but i really want some help and advice from people. obviously my name is audrey and i’m 16 years old. i live in a strict roman catholic household and feel guilty in a way for being interested in wicca. i have struggled with severe depression and anxiety for the past 3-4 years and have been to countless rehabs and mental facilities. i have been through so much therapy and medications and my mom makes me speak to her catholic friends about my struggles. i was just in a mental facility after attempting suicide from jan 22 until april 2. after that i did a partial program (full days of therapy except you get to live at home). while there, i met this holistic therapist and something she did really drew me in. she showed us pictures and i picked one and the description was so accurate, and none of the other descriptions of other pictures were that precise. i have always felt what i called “vibes” (sounds cliche) from people. it’s like a sixth sense where i knew something “good” or “bad” was going to happen and i was almost always right. i am a very empathetic person as well, to the point where sometimes my heart literally aches and hurts for the person. recently i’ve felt a lot of rebellion towards my controlling parents but i also have found comfort in knowing that i don’t HAVE to be catholic, i can do what i feel is right for me. which is where i discovered Wicca. i just need advice as to how and where to start, i feel sooo overwhelmed with everything and i just don’t know where to begin. if someone could respond to this, or you could dm me on instagram for a more private chat, that would be very appreciated and kind. my instagram is @audreyconrad. so if anyone can help, please do
I grew up Roman Catholic. I remember praying the Rosary 📿 but exclusively the Virgin Mary part of it. Now I understand that was The Goddess guiding me towards her through the representation of a Holy woman. As a person suffering with both depression and anxiety the only thing i can tell you is to gather strength from those sad/crazy/manic feelings. Those strong emotions can teach you a lot about yourself re trauma and recovery. Best of luck!
VickaOwO thank you so so much, i appreciate this long reply a lot. it’s super helpful and i’ll go look up your insta. it means a lot to know that there are complete strangers out there whom are willing to share their experiences and advice and it gives me hope ❤️
You sound like me when I was your age. I am 72, now. If there is one thing I can give you, it is this: you will survive this. Trust your feelings and don't let anyone else tell you who you are or who you're supposed to be. Where to start? Read, learn, talk to people, and hang on! Your day will come. Be at peace, knowing that.
I've been doing witchcraft since July and its so interesting!! Don't worry I am doing my research and will continue my craft until I move out of my house and finally have a proper alter 😊
I can’t believe people make videos like this helping others and nasty others dislike the videos that shows how evil people can be. Edit: hey I just realized your hair is the most beautiful hair I’ve ever seen ☺️😊

I’m a baby witch and I’m currently reading a year and a day and going through that journey. I have a book of shadows that I am writing things down in, and I’m watching videos, reading articles, and buying more books there is just so much I want to learn and I’m very excited.
My family tree is full of witches and high priestesses and I always had a feeling my mom was a witch, even more so when she ran away and I felt like she was never really gone. I could always read peoples energies, could always feel when someone liked me more than a friend or hated me, or when someone had harmful intentions and their energy was just pure evil. And I would hear random voices sometimes telling me to go inside or warning me. At first I thought I was just crazy growing up, until I started manifesting without knowing what it was yet and accidentally cursing people who had abused me in school and at home. I always felt more spiritual than religious, and felt out of place when my grandpa made me go to church as a kid. I didn’t feel any type of connection at all. My sisters and I would always talk about how we thought my mom was a witch. Well, now that I’ve found her she’s told me and reassured me that I’m not crazy, and that she used to practice until my awful and abusive, Christian biological dad didn’t let her. Then I started practicing while I lived with him in secret. I started doing it without even knowing I was a descendent yet, then one of my sisters took it on too without my influence as I had started doing it in secret and she’s loving it. She’s a green witch, but I don’t think she knows it yet. I’ve escaped from my dad, and have been with my mom learning more about myself and what I’m really capable of. I finally feel like I can be myself. My mother treated me horribly because my dad abused her before she ran away when I was 12, but now I know that she was just so filled with my dads negative energy and hatred it wasn’t her fault. My mom used to be apart of a coven and everything. All of my habits, connection to nature and animals, and being able to read energies and even predict deaths make so much more sense. I used to just be an atheist and not believe in anything because I cursed myself when I was depressed and lonely and suicidal, my dad made me hate myself. Now he says he’s no longer my dad, which I’m thankful for, because I’m finally free from the awful energy that he oozes. I’ve never felt more free and happy. Yes. Witches are real. And now I can fully believe in this art and heal my mental health at the age of 19.
When you talk about knowing how to be able to protect yourself from spirits/beings with negative intentions... how do you do that? Could you make a video on that? I dont know what to even type in in order to research this.
Yes I am making a series on protection on my channel :) if you are curious about researching, the best thing to read up on would be “spiritual protection” and “cleansing negative energy”
I put your tips in my first grimoire throughout the video. Thankyou, this made me feel less obligated to learn and practice as much as i can when i barely know anything. 💗🌙
I'm 12 and I just started to learn about all this witchcraft thing but it's kinda hard becuz I'm not financially and basically all around independent yet so I'm thinking to start with meditation and chakras
Meditation is fantastic. The mind can be a chaotic place and you really need a sound mind for energy work. You can also learn alot about yourself in meditation. It can be a great learning tool.
My mother is a witch and I really want to get into wicca but I'm like- 12 and I want to make a happiness spell jar thing by myself without asking my mom for things... because that's embarrassing for some reason- uhhhhhhhhhh yeah
It just means you need more research. Plants can be fickle especially potted. Soil balance can be wrong, over or under watering, wrong temp, diseases etc. Just keep at it:)
i just started getting into wicca. my mom beleives in stuff like crystals and energy so that’s good! i’m 11 though, so i don’t have the money to buy supplies. but i have been doing a lot of research about it and it’s so interesting.
Can you recommend things for witches in the broom closet. I live with my Christian family and I can’t really go out and buy books or tools. So I’m kinda just stuck with looking things up and not being able to practice or do many ‘witchy’ things.
Tips: Say you’ve taken interest in mythology, get some “pretty” crystals from somewhere, get those candles with saints/non witchy labels, Buy witchy books to go “learning the tactics of the enemy so you can convert them”, or go with a friend to these stores so you don’t have to buy them infront of parents. Use a separate Google account for witchy things/a google doc for your book of shadows.
1. Read and research A LOT (basic knowledge, you never stop learning) 2. Write everything down (book of shadows or grimoire, it'll help you later) 3. Take your time (and keep in mind there's always room to grow) 4. Interact with the community (ask questions, join a coven if you want to, read/watch their videos and experiences). Especially if you're broom closeted 5. Don't take everything you read as a law (make sure to double check and see if it applies to your practice, not everyone's practice it's the same, you may not connect to some things or they could be wrong) 6. Note the differences between witchcraft and wicca (this is essential, wicca it's a religion, witchcraft it's not, and my advice is to check out paganism too) 7. Wicca it's not for everyone (you don't need to be wicca if it doesn't fit you) 8. Protect yourself (ALWAYS, in a physical, mental and spiritual sense, practice safely) 9. Don't worry about tools (they're an extra, not a necessity), you can diy them too. My own advice on this, spell jars aren't the only way to make witchcraft, you can do many things with your intention and what you have at home 10. You can substitute any tool you want with what you have at home (white candles, rosemary, crystal quartz, rose; Google it's your best friend) 11. If you miss a Sabbath or Esbat, you're not lees of a witch (or full moons, or not making rituals on every important occasion) 12. Practice meditation, intuition, mindfulness and visualizations (she says why each one it's important in the video) 13. Spells should not be your first option for every single obstacle you encounter, they are not shortcuts 14. Spells take time to work, they are not instantaneous and sometimes they don't work for a reason 15. You are still a witch even if you don't practice daily This is my note taking, just posting this in case someone needs this ✨ nice video!
Help needed! When I was little, I used to see these spirits/entities whatever they were in our home, and have nightmares about them every night. My mother told me after we moved from there that it had to have been haunted. As a teen, I would often see shadows and such. I've only ever told them to go away and leave me alone. I've closed that part of me off for a long time. But I often feel like I'm being followed by a shadow, being watched, and I sometimes wake up in the middle of the night sweating, and feeling a presence in the room. I don't really want to open myself up to it, but I want it to stop. What can I do about this?
Hi! I just wanted to say thank you for making this video! I'm just starting to do some research on witches and witchcraft, and it's nice to watch videos rather than to read books!
Hi Ella blessed be sister I'm looking forward to learning new tips even though I've been a witch over 10 years but I feel that somehow in my Irish ancestral that I was born a natural witch I don't know how to explain it but the gift has come to me it took a long time for me to figure out who I was I always had special abilities and now I'm finally coming out of the closet and accepting who I am I am a white witch I do nothing but white magic I like working with herbs candles and oils and I also like the kitchen witch stuff too and I love working with nature I've always been a fascinated with all this since I was a little girl but never knew that I was part of the family so blessed be sister
I've never commented on a RUclips video before but you look almost identical to Becky Wright in my opinion. She is part of the channel The Sorry Girls and I just found your resemblance remarkable! I hope you are having a wonderful day and I am so excited to watch your videos and learn more about witchcraft.
is there a type of witch attracted to fire and that type of element? I feel like maybe that is me if it isn't water, but then again I barely know what the types are.
@@xxzzz7467 Yep! I don't practice much with water aside from using the element in spells but I believe water witch is more of an umbrella term and some witches prefer to say swamp witch, river witch, sea witch depending on their local body of water or what they feel most connected to
@@xxzzz7467 That's wonderful! If you're interested you could try some casual witchery by making sun or moon water! You can use it for plants, to drink, to make tea with, to wash your face ect. Sun water is for growth creativity courage strength and physical healing it's made by holding water directly up to the sun in a clear bottle or jar and letting it pass through. Then moon water is for manifesting, cleansing, protection, blessings and psychological healing. That's made by leaving it in a on your windowsill for the moon to touch at night. Try it next full moon, on the second! And since you feel drawn to water witchcraft you can possibly collect some shells and sea water as well
I really want to start with witchcraft! The only problem is that most things I can find and most books are in Englisch. I am not good at English because my language is Dutch. What can I do?
Hannelore Oben omg I’m Dutch not originally Dutch but I live in the Netherlands too maybe we could like help each other out I can speak and understand English so I can definitely help you if you want! :)
i tried this journey back in 2016. I gave up bc i was overwhelmed and honestly so stressed bc i read one book and i felt i need so much material. after many years i recently felt drawn again and don't want to let myself down again. if i had continued with that path i would be so experienced now, but at least if i start now, 30 year old me will be happy.
i am not even a baby witch so i’m sorry if i cant provide a lot of info but what i do is line the bottom of my bedroom door and my window pane with salt. also burn sage in your bedroom and do visual and sound protection, look that up :)
Thank you!!! I am trying to learn as much as I can. I grew up in a religious household and it was never for me. I feel a connection with nature and feel as tho this is my path, tho I am still unsure what type I should practice. Your tips are a big help.
I'm kinda sad because I´d really like to have someone else to guide me into this or a coven, but I live in Mexico and wiccans here doesn't even exist (not that many, maybe one out of 1000 ) so I'm a solitary wiccan u.u
Practice on your own. Decide what u do and do not like. If you join a coven make sure your goals align. Got alot out there looking to screw you over or just you. Not being a pessimist just be careful. Already dealt with it....
A baby Wiccan here on a beginning of finding my path. I'm 12 and I want to start witchcraft (green witch) but I don't know where to begin and i'm very overwhelmed does anybody have ant tips or pointers on how to start please
Hi! I’m literally in the same spot except I’m 13. I’d recommend find some plants that can grow in your room and connect with them. Care for them, talk to them, see what they like, and once you’re connected you can ask for their leaves to use in spell work. If you can’t have the plant in your room then keep it outside and visit them often. If you have any more questions I’m open 🙂
Hey everyone :) just wanted to quickly say that the dream catcher that is in the background was gifted to me by an initiated shaman ❤️ As I already received a few questions on it, I just wanted to clarify that real quick 😁
Hi! I'm new to this so I'm going to be very active on your videos haha!

Who else is scrolling through ALL platforms for advice. Stuff like this is SO helpful. I was actually getting advice from my grandma before quarantine
My grandma would have a stroke if I even said the word witch
Galaxy Candie Gacha aw that’s sad
Galaxy Candie Gacha Same, my brother and I are the first people in our family for 5+ generations that aren’t Christians. If they found out I was a witch I’d immediately get kicked out
Wow, my grandmother thinks it a phase, My mom is chill with it, and my dad and my brother don't even know.
My grandma was going to kill me.
1. Read/Research as much as you can
2. Write everything down
3. Take your time, you won't learn everything in a week
4.Join a group/community (Discord, Reddit, Insta, etc.)
5. Make sure you double-check what you read, people make mistakes
6.Know the difference between Wicca and witchcraft
7. Wicca is a religion, it's not for everyone.
8. Protection is important (Physically, Mentally, Spiritually, etc.)
9. Don't worry about fancy tools and/or altars, tools are optional
10. You can substitute any tools you want (a chopstick instead of a wand, white candle instead of and another candle color, etc.)
11. It's okay if you miss a full moon or Sabbats, you're still a witch.
12.Practice meditation, intuition, mindfulness (You don't need to sit criss cross with candles next to you and have an empty mind to meditate, just do something that makes you stop thinking about the world and just feel)
13. Spells shouldn't be your first option for every obstacle in life
14. Spells don't always work immediately, give it time
15. You are still a witch/Wiccan even if you don't practice daily
Bonus tip: Nature is your best friend (If you are feeling down take a walk or sit outside or just connect to nature)
Sorry if this was inaccurate, I tried lol. Enjoy!
sorry if this is obvious but what are wands for? like what kind of things can you do with a wand?
You are a saint!🙏🏻

Magic isn’t real... give it up
The best we can do is try to explain Wicca, the worship of earth.

5:45 - write everything down - one of the ways for the brain to hold onto the information and you will be able to look back at ur start ~ a book of shadows
6:30 - take ur time - don’t be overwhelmed take ur time and concentrate as best as possible don’t feel like ur missing out on anything it’s normal to feel intimidated you won’t learn everything in a week it will take time. you will always be learning
8:36 - ask questions and join communities from people
- facebook/instagram/reddit is a good way to find people to talk to and you can learn from them
10:05 - dont take everything online real
- double check or even triple check if u need we are humans and all make mistakes
11:17 - make sure u know the difference between witchcraft and wicca - understand that wicca is a religion so treat it with respect and be open minded
11:57 - wicca is not for everyone
- there is plenty more paths this contains rules and beliefs which may not a line with u
12:30 - protect urself
- make sure u understand how to protect urself and to make sure u have your boundaries in place

i’m 16 and i feel like it’s a really late start but i want to learn, not sure how my family will feel about it but but are there any books anyone would recommend? i know almost nothing. where do i even start??
I’m 24, don’t even worry about age
I dont think it matters.Never too young and never too old!I'm only 9 and I'm a baby witch:)
I’m 32, age has nothing to do with the path you’re meant to follow 😀. I’d recommend reading anything by Scott Cunningham, the books are a little dated but they are great resources.

Audio books are amazing and meditation will help tremendously.

I wish i was so lucky,i found out about the religion when i was 10 (i'm 11) but my grandma says that i can't be in it no matter what so...i'm just gonna wait till i'm 14 so i can get a part-time job and pay for things myself and my family won't be able to stop me
Girl the second I read the comment about the mirror I looked at it immediately my heart starts beating so fast and I’m so scared I had to turn off the video
kenz gameing what comment? :)
Oooh I see it
The plant in the mirror looks different that the plant not in the mirror
Is it not just angles?
I have a fear of mirrors for some odd reason
This was so helpful, I really love the community 🍄🌹🌸🌼
Also just got my first Wiccan book to study at home, it comes in 4 days!!
this is my first video of yours and i really love the way you talk!! it is very comforting 🥰
looking forward to the book recommendations video! 🤍
I like how she's not afraid to tell us to check behind her own statements. That give me good vibes. ❤💫
@@EllaHarrison okay you lost me there with your big words you just used. 🤣 I'm so sorry lol.. do what now?
Oh sorry 😁🙈 So I would suggest reading a bit about African Witchcraft and Folk Magick, and there are quite a lot of articles done by different researchers (the field of research is called Anthropology, most people don’t know what it is so no worries lol - I just got my bachelors in it so thats why I know what it means😅). There is a looot of research and information now about African Witchcraft and rituals etc so I think you should be able to find lots of info on it 🙏🏼
@@EllaHarrison how do I know what's safe and what's not? Im scared.. but I wanna do it so bad
Please can you initiate me
I don’t know why but your mirror in the back felt weird to me. Not visually, visually it is a nice looking mirror but it feels like there is something there in the mirror? Sorry if this sounds weird but just thought I should let you know
Me too it gives me a weird vibe
i was thinking this too... it looks distorted somehow
I think it's because it's tilted but it's not very clear that it is, so our brain might be thinking that the mirror is straight while showing a tilted mirroring
same
Milo yep it’s tilted, but I must say I don’t like having mirrors faving the camera, I am still trying to work on my filming setup and hopefully will have a nice one soon once I move 😅
I appreciate your videos so much
I started being drawn to Wicca almost 15 or 16 years ago when I was in high school. I even have a little “self dedication” page written when I was a teen which I just rediscovered a while ago and it made me smile.
Over the years I have researched my little butt off and have come to the conclusion that Wicca no longer suits me and I am now just practicing witchcraft, without the religious aspect. It warmed my heart to hear you say that “maybe Wicca was simply the stepping stone to find the path you are meant to be on” because for me it was
Blessed evening!
@Shirl Ferguson that actually makes a lot of sense! Thank you, kind stranger, blessed be ❤️
I'm into witchcraft since i was born, but i suddenly stopped it for a time. Now i'm back and thank you for tips and your useful channel!
i love your positivity!
after more than 6 months of reading and researching this video really helped me get up and ready to start my Wiccan path. I remember watching this video before Summer Solstice and buying Raymond Buckland's Complete Book of Witchcraft and after reading, I fell in love and was completely happy with being a Wiccan. So thank you so much for helping me get started Ella :) may the Earth grant you much happiness and success in life 💖🌙 ✨
I’m 12 years old, for the past 5 months I’ve just felt really attached to Wicca and I’ve felt like it’s just something I have to get into and understand.
I have a tip for the spells :D
Focus all your energy on what you want. clear your mind and try to only think about that thing. like meditation. and try to take deep, slow breaths! all the spells I've done included this and worked well. I hope this is helpful to you!
1. keep in mind the 3 fold rule (everything you do will come back to you x 3)
2. dont do love magic (i personally count it as dark magic because it alters someone's free will)
3. if you ever want to do magic, consider doing a basic tarot read beforehand
i have a real bad struggle with my mental health, and as much as i love my practice, its difficult to keep it a constant in my life, i end up going through ebbs and flows of inspiration and depression. So i just want to thank you for tips that i can easily incorporate and try to weave into my routines and habits, just as little bits of mindfulness and reminders, it means a lot to me. Hope you have a wonderful day/night
The video starts at 3:23 for lazy people like myself ;)
I'm a baby witch (12) and I'm scared to go out and buy tools because I think that my dad would make fun of me ;-;

I’m a Christian and I’m just now getting curious about witchcraft and Wicca but I’m completely overwhelmed with all the information and different ways to do things. I do want to be a Christian witch I think
I'm a Christian Witch.
I am 11 and I understand I am very young but this knowledge is very interesting and beautiful to me.
I started my Wiccan journey when I was 11 as well :)
Ella Harrison really? That makes me feel more comfortable researching about it.
i am 14 actually (:
I'm not a baby I'm 45 but I've been interested in and heavily drawn to wicca for many years. I've just decided to give it a try. So much to learn and I'm open to info and advice.

im 14 i don’t have anything yet so im doing some research since some of my older friends are witches i plan on starting doing more things when im 15-16 since i can get a car and job (even though im starting a small business soon) then i can drive to the small witch shop that’s 30 minutes away from me
what is your small business about? hehe
xyce syew i haven’t started yet but im probably gonna sell eyelashes
-crystla that’s cool, how do you gonna design them? I see a lot of pll with an eyelashes business, which is great ofc, but how do they design them. I mean they should come with something new yk
xyce syew so you usually buy it wholesale like 100 for a certain price you can usually order up to 1000+ and then you have to make a logo and order eyelash cases, it’s a lottt of different kind. but i also want to sell other stuff im not sure on what though

@@EllaHarrison thank you so much♡ i was feeling really overwhelmed but this video definitely gave me some guidance again♡
I put your tips in my first grimoire throughout the video. Thankyou, this made me feel less obligated to learn and practice as much as i can when i barely know anything. 💗🌙
I'm 12 and I just started to learn about all this witchcraft thing but it's kinda hard becuz I'm not financially and basically all around independent yet so I'm thinking to start with meditation and chakras
same
Meditation is fantastic.
Thank you for this. I might be late but finding this did help me feel better with slowing things down and not rush them. Have a great day!
I have a problem with keeping house plants alive, this might be a dumb question but will this affect my ability to become a witch?
Same but probs getting plants that can be dried for things
No, it won't 🙂
Nope! There are different types of witches and if you don't feel drawn to being a green witch then you don't have to be
It just means you need more research.
It’s one of my priority videos 😁 I will try and film this asap 🙈
Tips:
Say you’ve taken interest in mythology,
get some “pretty” crystals from somewhere, get those candles with saints/non witchy labels,
Buy witchy books to go “learning the tactics of the enemy so you can convert them”, or go with a friend to these stores so you don’t have to buy them infront of parents.
Use a separate Google account for witchy things/a google doc for your book of shadows.
For your book of shadows, id say use a school style notebook!
1. Read and research A LOT (basic knowledge, you never stop learning)
2. Write everything down (book of shadows or grimoire, it'll help you later)
3. Take your time (and keep in mind there's always room to grow)
4. Interact with the community (ask questions, join a coven if you want to, read/watch their videos and experiences). Especially if you're broom closeted
5. Don't take everything you read as a law (make sure to double check and see if it applies to your practice, not everyone's practice it's the same, you may not connect to some things or they could be wrong)
6. Note the differences between witchcraft and wicca (this is essential, wicca it's a religion, witchcraft it's not, and my advice is to check out paganism too)
7. Wicca it's not for everyone (you don't need to be wicca if it doesn't fit you)
8. Protect yourself (ALWAYS, in a physical, mental and spiritual sense, practice safely)
9. Don't worry about tools (they're an extra, not a necessity), you can diy them too. My own advice on this, spell jars aren't the only way to make witchcraft, you can do many things with your intention and what you have at home
10. You can substitute any tool you want with what you have at home (white candles, rosemary, crystal quartz, rose; Google it's your best friend)
11. If you miss a Sabbath or Esbat, you're not lees of a witch (or full moons, or not making rituals on every important occasion)
12. Practice meditation, intuition, mindfulness and visualizations (she says why each one it's important in the video)
13. Spells should not be your first option for every single obstacle you encounter, they are not shortcuts
14. Spells take time to work, they are not instantaneous and sometimes they don't work for a reason
15. You are still a witch even if you don't practice daily
This is my note taking, just posting this in case someone needs this ✨ nice video!
Cleanse you living space with sage and have an intention of getting rid of it
try reading psalm 91 out loud in each room
Hi! I just wanted to say thank you for making this video! I'm just starting to do some research on witches and witchcraft, and it's nice to watch videos rather than to read books!
i just started as a witch and now i’m fairly certain i accidentally contacted an evil spirit.

I've never commented on a RUclips video before but you look almost identical to Becky Wright in my opinion. She is part of the channel The Sorry Girls and I just found your resemblance remarkable! I hope you are having a wonderful day and I am so excited to watch your videos and learn more about witchcraft.
I am trying to be a witch but don't know where to start !!!!!
I just started. But ever since i was a kid i was curious. And for some reason to this day i talk to the water and ocean.
is there a type of witch attracted to fire and that type of element? I feel like maybe that is me if it isn't water, but then again I barely know what the types are.
Yep! Fire witch is a thing! You could study flame reading if it interests you or research sun deities
Laura Francis and water which too?
@@xxzzz7467 Yep! I don't practice much with water aside from using the element in spells but I believe water witch is more of an umbrella term and some witches prefer to say swamp witch, river witch, sea witch depending on their local body of water or what they feel most connected to
Laura Francis omg That’s so cool bc I love water and the sea since I can remember so maybe This is Something for me
@@xxzzz7467 That's wonderful! And since you feel drawn to water witchcraft you can possibly collect some shells and sea water as well
6 years down the rabbit hole and im still learning!
Everyone says protect yourself but no one says HOW I'm 😭
i am not even a baby witch so i’m sorry if i cant provide a lot of info but what i do is line the bottom of my bedroom door and my window pane with salt. also burn sage in your bedroom and do visual and sound protection, look that up :)
@@joelymatthews9627 thank you!! What I do just for intuition is protect myself with an Amethyst necklace, sage and a protection pentacle

i have sort of been into wicca for awhile but i just started fully into it, so this video happened a lot!
Everything ever sence I have been researching about Wicca has been feeling more and more like this is explaining so many things and just makes the most sense to me .Your videos have been extremely helpful . Can't thank you enough! Blessings 🌙☀️✨🍃 added you on FB aswell would love to connect
