Saw a massive (more than a metre wide) stingray patrolling the edge of this foreshore while I was fishing here a week or two ago. I was lucky to land a 55cm tailor but it was no bites for rest of the time I was there. I put it down to the giant stringray scaring all the fish away... :D

my personal opinion , and also if you have a good budget , Dawia TD battler series rods are good, I have a light one before, but broken in my garage . and exist 1000-2000 reel are also nice reels to match. This was last Sunday lunch time, actually , I just was so lucky, happened to meet some fish there, most time nothing, fish alway moving from one place to another place, you could happen to meet them if you are lucky , don't need special tips and techniques , this is my personal opinion , this is fishing.
