People saying that Sapnap is mad for no reason should realise that it’s a competition, they prepared for it for weeks, and just like any competition if you find out that your opponents have unfair advantage on you, you will be mad too. Now as for him streaming being mad to his viewers, that’s another thing. Personally I would just have a talk with Scott and sort it out offline but hey let Sapnap do himself lol
As for the matter of calling it ‘cheating’ I won’t go so far but certain rules should be revised for the next MCC so this does not happen again. It’s discouraging to other player and the fans.
I am a big fan of all of the players involved and I hope they work it out offline. We don’t need drama in the Minecraft community.

Don’t let this deter you from supporting your favourite players and supporting MCC in general. It’s always good fun to watch the competition. i recommend watching Phil, Tommy and Grian's perspectives since their team are the chillest in my opinion. Fyi, in MCC there are teams that go full on competitive and teams that just want to have fun. If you find maybe Dream or Sapnap being too competitive and stressful to watch you could watch the other streamers that play for fun :)

I feel like you can’t get mad at HBomb because everyone in MCC abuses glitches, it’s never been seen as that bad or anything. For example anytime someone Wilbur-glitches in Rocket Spleef.
However, the Smajor stuff is kinda messed up. Like he totally had an unfair advantage since he won stuff since he knew the maps and everyone else didn’t. No one deserves hate at all but I think it’s okay for people to voice their annoyance about that.

To be fair, the first map was fine and he figured everyone would catch on with this map as well because the testers did fine... he really couldn't have known how much of an advantage it wouldve given him
I just think if Scott’s going to test out completely new maps, he shouldn’t participate in that one particular MCC, or the other participants should defo get a chance to check out the map. Either that, or someone who isn’t going to participate in that particular MCC should test the map. And normally if there is a lot of confusion between all participants, Scott joins a VC to tell them all what to do, but for this one he didn’t. Also it was so damn clear that HBomb ended up completely abusing the glitch, but he didn’t get any repurcussions

Its not bugged and there is literally arrows pointing at the directions where you need to go.. I guess there is bugs like the walking/swimming.. I think they are just thinking about tha paths and not the arrow thats why they got confused..

People have used this glitch before in a PRACTICE server, and Scott banned them from any future MCCs. And yet when HBomb cheats in the actual event, Scott doesn’t bat an eye because it’s his team. (Btw this is coming from a big Scott fan)

The voice he's using and the fact that he immediately starts detailing what to do makes me think that that was just a joke. A wink and a nod to the chat so that they feel like they're in on it. He clearly cheated, but it's not like he really tried to hide it either.
@@josephlawson2768 it was a joke, the people who run MCC had Scott and a few others test maps. Some of the others are also MCC competitors. Scott just played WAYYY more of the map than he was told. It’s not uncommon. But even outside of MCC Scott is really good at Elytra courses and often plays them. So he’s very skilled. What he said was a joke because EVERYONE in his chat and team knew he had played it quite a lot. He was saying once MCC started he didn’t want to get Ace Race because he knew that he’d be way better since he has muscle memory and such for that course. He was genuinely kinda upset it got picked, but he did get cocky once he started playing and immediately jumped to first😅 which isn’t like him at all….

If it had just been the wall glitch no one would've cared, it happened before and it'll happen again. But Scott really showed his true colors this event. The culmination of the glitch and then Scott's initial dishonesty as well, just made me enjoy this mcc a lot less than previous ones.
I think if Scott is going to test out new maps again, he should live stream it or let the other players know about it beforehand.

Even though it’s really clear that the Dream Team are just laughing this off and aren’t actually annoyed abt it, it was probably not a good idea to stream them reacting to it, given how their (very young) audience will likely overreact and get unironically pissed about it. I’m not denying that the MCC was scuffed as fuck and I’m not denying that the Ace Race part was really shitty but honestly if you really care that much you need to go outside.
Side note IMO if Scott is gonna test any parts of MCC he probably shouldn’t play, or at least have one person per team test out the map, so that each team has at least one player with map knowledge and it isn’t an advantage to one team. While it really doesn’t matter that much, it’s detrimental in the sense that it removes the legitimacy of the Aqua Axolotls’ win for some people.
This was a serious matter for them, they put in a lot of time and effort into it, just because its a game, it doesn't make it any less valid. If their "very young" audience will overreact, then they need to "go outside".

Even if the glitch was fucked, you need to remember that the whole time during that game, H was just spamming space, and had no control over the glitch. Call me biased, but I rewatched his stream this morning and I saw that even H was confused. But in the end who gives a shit? The cc’s had fun, and it’s the first MCC in months. There was bound to be mistakes. Nothing is ever perfectly coded, and things go wrong. Even people going in the wrong direction in a race.

Ok, but did you support when Aqua was being severely harassed on Twitter? Did any other team in MCC get called out for cheating in that situation? Maybe not because that particular team didn’t win. And during the 20 seconds in which there was a break, Noxcrew didn’t know how to fix it. Also, they make ZERO dollars from MCC and work to sell other maps in order to keep it up and running. Also players get no money from winning, so truly it’s all fun and games. Dream, sapnap, and other MCYTs can be salty about things but in the end.Block. Game.

But if someone is using an exploit, then it needs to be called out or else it's just going to be swept under the rug. Saying that "it's just a block game" or "they make no money from this" is so irrelevant to the aspect of fairness & integrity in a competition. The competitors and developers put so much into this tournament and to just say that issues like these doesn't matter because "it's just a game", really diminishes all their hard work... instead every issue should be called out so that it can be corrected to make the game better.

I personally think that Scott having tested the map isn’t ok. He should’ve have tested it. But what gets me PISSED is when people hate on HBomb for a fucking GLITCH! I’ve seen Captain Sparklez have the same glitch in HITW. PearlescentMoon has had it countless times(most likely because of her aussie ping) even FalseSymmetry has had it. But when the ONE time that someone with a reputation such as HBomb’s, does the same thing. They get harassed. What about all of the other glitches in other games? Such as the Wilbur Glitch. I guarantee you that Wilbur(or someone else) as done that glitch in Rocket Spleef and that caused their team to get the finals at least once. But no one cares. Thank you for the pinned comment, I was getting slightly pissed at Sapnap for just openly being so immature (especially at Hbomb, glitches are out of his control). Ofc it’s perfectly fine to be angry, I probably would be upset too, but displaying it in front of 100K plus viewers, a lot of which don’t hesitate to send hate to anyone, is just petty. Hbomb’s chat during and after this was flooded with hate.

Aqua Axolotls stole Dodgebolt from the Purple Pandas all because of Hbomb’s hole in the wall glitch. Here’s math to prove it:
So, in round 1 of HITW, Jbomb should’ve died when he had 56 coins. In round 2, Hbomb should’ve died when he had 288 coins. In round 3, he died fair and square with 100 coins for himself. Now, if u add up his total coins for the whole game u get 444. Now, u multiply that by 2.0 because of the coin multiplier in the event and that gives him 888 total individual coins for HITL. However, he originally had 1504 coins for his team WITH the glitches. Aqua as a whole scored a total of 3656 coins, which is important for the next bit. Now u take the whole team coins (3656) and subtract that by Hbombs original coins WITH the glitches (1504) and u get 2152. Now, add what Hbomb should have gotten for that game (888) to 2152 and u get a REAL total of 3040 Aqua Axolotls team coins for HITW. With that in mind, Aqua ended up with a total event score of 20218 coins, putting them in second place. The Purple Pandas were behind by a mere 285 coins with a total score of 19833. Now, the last step is subtracting the Aqua Axolotls original HITL score (3656) from their total event score (20218) and u get 16562 coins. Now, here’s the moment of truth: add what should have been their HITL score (3040) to 16562 and the Aqua Axolotls should have a score of 19602 event coins. The Purple Pandas had 19833 event coins. So, there u go, simple math to prove that Aqua robbed Purple of a dodge bolt appearance. Also, don’t even mention Ace Race and how Scott helped his team out greatly. So Purple Pandas got robbed. Feel free to check my math.

Other people glitched this way aswell. You can literally glitch just by pressing space bar to stay on the map. Remember when Wilbur glitched in rocket spleef and nobody said anything? Why is it any different for Hbomb?
Probably because it didn't give him a huge advantage over everyone else and basically fked the placement due to the glitch, compared to hbomb if he didn't glitch his team won't be as high and made it to dodge bolt
I was wondering the same thing. I think people are upset because like stated in the response above, it affected the placement way more than Wilburs glitch. In rocket spleef, you get more points from kills than staying alive the longest, so that glitch doesn’t really affect the score. Hbombs glitch itself isn’t really a big deal in my opinion, but we all can admit that it gave their team a bit of an advantage. Also, you’re right by saying other people glitched this way as well, I completely agree. I just think the issue is Hbomb had (and possibly used) the glitch over and over again compared to others who may have experienced it once or twice. In the end, the glitch is no ones fault and I personally don’t think it’s a huge deal, but I see why people are upset about it compared to wilburs glitch.

If you take away all of Hbombs HITW coins, Scotts Ace Race (and the Siege and Breakdown tgttos coins because he knew those) they would have had A total of 16570 coins roughly, landing them in 5th
Fun Fact About this glitch Techno got it in MCC.9 and False did too in MCC13 but he didnt get as much as Hbomb did same with False cause she does it more, so it has been their for quite sometime the reason people made a big deal about it is because he won. Note yes he did abuse the glitch but SapNap even agreed he would abuse it, I mean who wouldn't

I had no problems with HBomb having a glitch, but the thing that kinda annoyed me concerning it was that the even organizers didn't recount the scores for dodgebolt. They were not supposed to be second. The reason why the Wilbur glitch was okay was because they didnt rob another team of going into dodgebolt, where here that's not the case. Then, Scott knew the map in Ace Race and still participated. He had run it himself! So yeah, I feel like they had a reason to at least be a little upset. They weren't actually mad at the people in question, but they were annoyed with the game itself and how it was handled (because, quite frankly, if I had been the one participating and "training" for weeks beforehand and was cheated out of a higher place that could've helped me win, I'd be pretty frusterated). Sapnap is a loud person (and I mean that in the nicest way possible) so he's going to be screaming. He's KNOWN for screaming. And yeah, I think they were justified in being upset. Should they have been screaming at the screen? No, of course not. But when your adrenaline is heightened (like when you see proof that you're correct in your irritation in something) your emotions are going to be heightened and you'll be in the moment more than normal.

people are trying to compare the hole in the wall glitch to the wilbur glitch but nobody has been banned from the wilbur glitch, illumina got banned from mcc for this glitch in the practice server (i’m pretty sure correct me if i’m wrong) but the fact that someone did this glitch in the actual mcc makes me mad. and i believe scott probably shouldn’t have ran through the map if he was going to be competing but i mean what’s done is done, it’s just a game for fun and there’s going to be another one in a month most likely so people definitely shouldn’t be as mad as they are

As someone who have seen a few MCCs in the past, I was really taken aback at all the hate that H is receiving when other players have experienced and used the same glitch before. HITW has always been buggy (for goodness’ sake, the slime blocks are powered by invisible pistons), and the glitch has existed since MCC 1. This glitch isn’t a secret and is well know among the viewers and the players themselves. At least one person in each MCC has experienced the same HITW glitch.
I’m aware that Sapnap and the rest were just joking in this clip, but the way they expressed it could easily lead their younger viewers into spreading more hate towards H. I wish he could’ve handled it more maturely.
just gonna mention this: alot of teams got affected by that glitch, of course. but the thing is, there were 3 teams who werent affected by it as much as the others. which ended up being the top 3. and scott's team being first because he knew alot of stuff beforehend. sending hate is not the correct way to do this kind of things, but scott does need to learn from this and hire somebody to test the maps inplace of him, or when they make new maps he would not be allowed to play in that event if he tests it. thats the only way to not give unfair advantage to others. obviously they also got LOADS of points because of hbomb, but that was just a glitch and nobody could of known that it wouldve happened. and there were many glitches before in MCC for example the wilbur glitch.

the wall glitch from hbomb i don't really mind it's like nothing he could do about and tbh i understand why he would just use it... but that scott had such an advantage at ace race just wasn't poggers especially because people for example Tommy glitched from 2nd to 37th place because he didn't understand where to go...

The hole in the wall one is just a big misunderstanding. With the walls going that fast, it's probably possible to do that if you just spam your keys. Even Pete said that you can do it as long as u press all keys in your hands' reach (exaggeration). For the thing with Scott in ace race, I don't even see it as a massive thing. Scott said that he always does test the MCC games which before didn't have that much of a big impact. It's only now that it does impact it, which he didn't rly think about, does it become problematic. You can also probably blame Philza (don't actually) cuz he went the wrong way and a lot of people before him followed because that probably was a good strat. And the thing with checkpoints, they basically work (based on my observation) like this: depending on which part of the course you fall off the map, you get sent to its respective checkpoint. And because some people that went the wrong way thought to kill themselves because they thought it would send them back to the last checkpoint, which didn't happen because of how the checkpoints worked. And Noxcrew didn't fix this checkpoint problem since they didn't see it as one in the first place until they saw some people complain about it. This is because according to them, when the testers did the course, they didn't go the wrong way which means that Noxcrew didn't see much problem with the course which is why it wasn't fixed in the actual event. And finally, the map itself isn't the problem because there are arrows that guide you which u most definitely need to follow. And in my opinion, it isn't that confusing either. The only reason many people went the wrong way was because of the arrows. Plus, it's natural for people to make mistakes on their first round. And it's natural for Noxcrew to not make the perfect game which fixes all problems. The only main thing that I think they should've done to make it fair is to reset the entire game. But in the end of the day, what has happened has happened and can't be changed. I only made this paragraph to just vent concerning the controversy even if it may or may not be seen by the people I want this to reach.

Also to the people complaining about it if you think about it this is the first MCC in 6 months so there are going to be glitches and with the whole Scott Ace Race thing I think it was a bit unfair of Noxcrew to let him test it but at the end of the day there isn’t any prize besides the coin so it really isn’t too big of a deal and I don’t think they should have any repercussions for it since most of this event is for fun since there is no cash prize and if Scott does ever have to test a map they should either one not let him participate that MCC or let everyone else participating in that event also practice it once and for Hbomb this glitch has been around for since the event started and no one has had this much backlash because of it and there should be no hate sent to Hbomb or Scott

I get that it’s a ”competition” but it’s a friendly one for fun. This happens to a lot of people and honestly they are saying that all his hard work is just glitches. This would not be a big deal if they didn’t win. As for ace race, he did this course once as a tester before it was finished along with a lot of other people. And yet they are looking at one person and dragging him down.
They are listening to small parts of what is said and assuming that he is just bad at doing this normally and that every word he’s saying is eluding to telling everyone on his team what will happen or that he in some way has run this course multiple times to find the perfect way despite him messing up things along the way. Multiple streamers have said afterwards that they did just follow people that went the wrong way, his team went the wrong way too. One of the people who were in the lead before the part where everyone went wrong admitted to getting distracted and not looking at their gameplay and there for going the wrong way. Scott didn’t see the problem because it hadn’t happened before, he talks to the people make MCC alongside him to develop the competition but that does not mean that he gets early access or knows all the new maps. If they did what for ex. Seapeekay and stayed to talk to the people at the end they would have gotten the real story and hopefully not spread hate afterwards. I would say it’s one thing to say something in the moment but to post videos after the event when al they are doing is bring him down, guessing and honestly bullying a guy who just played the game along with them, lost his fair share of things in the game too and worked hard before and during the comp. to practice and give himself and his team a shot at doing good in MCC. No matter if your pissed or feel that it is unfair is it ok to be this mean and diminish his hard work or talent because they didn’t win. It’s not okay to spread the hate to the community or bullying someone for something you assume happens. That is quite toxic. They need to talk to each other not push one another down. And as for glitches, happen to a lot of people for the worse or for the better, that does not mean that all that is accomplished is a glitch or that it’s controllable. That’s up to the people responsible for that part of MCC to fix. It’s not the first time something has glitched in mcc and it won’t be the last. What has happened has happened but to encourage this behaviour to anyone single person or an entire community is just wrong on so many levels. I’d like the people “in-charge” of everything to talk about this, all of it, and clear it up ones and for all. Hope you have a good day :)

My thoughts are that Scott basically abused his ability to use the map as being a Mcc developer... he got to see and run the map before any other players, and even gave his team a hint as an advantage over everyone else, to me it’s completely unfair.
Mcc is a competitive tournament and should not be cheated on. As for hbomb he used the glitch too much and that of course made him suspicious, people caught on and thought it was unfair too. Their team was so ahead of all the other teams. There was a lot of things that went wrong this Mcc and it was a little disappointing. Like the tag game, the hunters being invisible and such,

Yall it wasn’t rigged. Hole in the wall was an exploited glitch, which a ton of people do in MCC. The ace race thing, Scott did test it, and people have never had an issue with it. The map he tested wasn’t actually the final map. He also didn’t get any of the top five fastest races. He and the Admins saying “cope” is fair because it is not something that could be controlled. Also, no one had an issue before this. I get that it was the first game of MCC2, but it isn’t fair to bash them for winning or anything. Sapnap is just salty in this clip because he came in second. Please stop all the hate.
