FleetMSV3 is using a completely different tech stack (Angular Frontend + Node Backend). This decouples the frontend and backend. FleetMsv2 uses Spring Framework (Thymeleaf + Spring/Java). So yes, you can achieve the same functions but in different ways. However, for very large enterprise applications, it's a good pattern to adopt a loose coupling, expecially if you'll have to work on for organization that has an existing system. But for many applications you'll be building from the scratch, there's much benefit to using the Spring Framework.
