I have this placement. Cancer Ascendant (Sayana), Moon in Cancer in Punarvasu (Sidereal). Mercury is lord of 3rd and 12th conjunct Sūrya. 11th lord Venus is in 12th (parivartana) in mutual aspect with retrograde Shani in the 6th.
Lots of connections, make people feel "at home," I meet a lot of people (born in NYC), talented, surrealist painter (that's why I resonated with Dali huh...) etc., but not so much wealthy.
Driven more towards spiritual growth than material growth.

Scorpio ascendant. I have mercury in virgo in the 11th house (ruling 8th and 11th house) with moon in pisces in the 5th house (ruling the 9th house). Mutual aspect is quite strong. How does this play out?
Hi Vic and thank you for this video. I am a novice in astrology and I have two questions for you:
a) Do you use the tropical zodiac with the sidereal nakshatras in combination with the whole sign house system ?
b) I've heard so many positive things about mercury in the 11th house, does it change when Mercury is in Pisces in the 11th house ?
I am using the free software planetdance from the astrologer Jean Cremers from the netherlands, just want to be sure which settings to use in the software.

This seems like an interesting position for Capricorn ascendant though. While Mercury in 11th seems like a great position, Mercury in Scorpio isn't. Also Mercury rules both 6th and 9th houses in the 11th, which makes it a mixed bag.

Here's an interesting speculation about this placement:
The last piece of lore Robert Schmidt of Project Hindsight had for the astrological community before the stroke took him, was asserting the distinct possibility that Donald Trump is NOT a late Leo rising with Regulus on the ascendant, but a very early Virgo rising, which could happen even without changing the official birth time of 10:54am. All it requires is to add between 13 and 29 seconds to the birth time.
Schmidt said that late Leo rising would give him "the eminence of a plumber," and frankly, Virgo rising would give Trump not only planets in the 2nd and 11th, but also a huge number of rajayogas between them.
Including Mercury in the 11th.
Now I don't like the man, and I don't think he's "enjoyable," but considering how peculiarly successful the man has been, I think your description of Mercury in the 11th DOES fit him---as much as that personally revolts me.
