I've said it before and I'll say it again, M2K-Hbox is the most inconsistent top player match up ever.
I did not expect this after the first game. Usually you can tell from the first match if M2K is going to win or lose against Hbox, but this time... wow.
Mukhtar usually it's after game2, actually. If he wins game1 how he plays in dreamland usually tells you how he's going to do. Or he's down 0-2 and he's done
That's true in general, but the way I've observed matches between Hbox and M2K this year (specifically Fox vs Puff), usually game 1 dictates the rhythm of the set- whether it will be close or whether one is going to dominate the other. Evo, Smash Con, Shine, CEO Dreamland, and loser's finals in this tournament are examples.

Travis Brown If you're alluding to the idea that m2k's win over hungry box isn't significant until m2k wins the tournament, I disagree. M2k is now 7-8 against hungrybox in 2017. Compared to their records in years before, m2k is allot better vs hungry box now. He has made great improvements
im pretty sure he was asking who won the tournament, as he probably wasnt watching the stream.

god the more I watch hbox play the more hype it gets to me
rooting for someone who constantly faces their worst match-up with a character that can die so easily really keeps you on the edge of your seat
