I am so sorry to hear about your daughter , I got two boys and I couldn’t imagine what you and so many people have went through with SIDS and SUDC. My thoughts and prayers are always with you !!
I have a Joe Robinet 2.0 also. Never let it go. I’m hinting for a saw pouch with the scout patch on it and another bottle carrier. Love his older stuff. I have almost one of everything Malcom has made.
Solid video. Great content for the community. I use lines of gear and the haversack becomes my step away kit. When I step away from an established camp.
Thanks for recommending the Foraging Bandana! Also, love the cameo of your Bushcraft Necklace in there too. Among some great pieces of gear in that kit!
Nice setup brotha thinking about getting a haversack and that one looks bullet proof. I just got a firebox Nano stove and added it to my scout bag it would be a great addition to your gear just my 2 cents. Btw luv the neck knife too👊
cnw2000 I personally use two different sleeping bags depending on the temps. If it’s going to be warmer I will use my Aegismax goose down bag or if it’s going to be colder I will use my Teton Leef +20. Both bags are really good and I got them from amazon. If you want to go really light weight on your shelter I can recommend the bushcraft outfitters shelter half with there core temp poncho and their MEST 5x8 tarp and ridge line. It’s expensive but really nice and light weight. I have all of them and the whole package weights only 2.8 pounds. But If you want a good backpacking tent I recommend the Kelty SaIida 2. I am hoping to get there in March to but I’m not sure when yet
Right on brother. Awesome kits you got there. Good rundown and breakdown of the contents. Why are you all nervous and tongue twisted bro? I can tell. You're hesitant to look into the camera too. lol...Great video bro. See you in the next.
Is your camp on your property or public land? I'm up in Arlington and it's so big here now it takes an hour just to find some country...as bad as Houston🤣🤣
Pacediver well I was a little off on guessing the weight lol , I just got home and weighed it. So with my Deering edc , and my adventure sworn mountaineer out of it (which is the way I carry it in the woods ) it weights right at 8 pounds
Thank you for the information on your edc in your Haversack. -Tennessee Smoky
One of the best laid out haversack kits I have seen. Great job, thank you for the ideas
Oh thank you !!!
Thank you for making me aware of SUDC. Our daughter died from SIDS while I was stationed in Taiwan. Very difficult memory.

i am going camping here in march bushcraft style, what lightweight sleeping bag or sleep system do you recomend

stan brown yes I live out in the country and we own 75 acres and my camp is right in the middle
I may have missed it but how heavy do you think your gear is ,that’s a lot more gear than I expected inside it ,good information
Pacediver not sure I will have to weigh it but I’m guessing about 3 pounds maybe
That’ll pretty good better than I thought
Pacediver well I was a little off on guessing the weight lol , I just got home and weighed it. So with my Deering edc , and my adventure sworn mountaineer out of it (which is the way I carry it in the woods ) it weights right at 8 pounds
That’s still very reasonable considering the amount of gear
Pacediver yeah it’s not to bad at all to carry , especially with the padded shoulder strap on it
Joe R. sent me ... I'm in😎
