Italy Travel Video, Part 3: Rome!
As our trip nears its end, we arrived in Rome and spent the day exploring the city.
Starting at the Piazza di Spagna from the movie "Roman Holiday," we visited the Trevi Fountain, the Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill, among other places. We walked nearly 30,000 steps this day. Walking around Rome was incredibly enjoyable because ruins would suddenly appear around every corner☺️
A quick note about the popular gelato shop Giolitti: in the video, we leisurely ate inside while filming, but if you're just getting gelato, you need to eat it outside. The indoor seating is for those ordering from the meal menu.
And on this day, we truly experienced the essence of Italian cuisine...
The food at Pesci Fritti, near Campo de' Fiori, was absolutely amazing. The shrimp risotto was so delicious that I almost cried because I didn't want it to end. Haha. The seafood in the zuppa was also fantastic, and my husband and I kept saying, "This is real Italian food."
