That is so awesome to be able to show the kids what baby is developing on a week to week basis. It is a learning experience but also a bonding experience. At the same time they remember mom is growing the baby and are reminded to be more helpful and understanding. It is also keeping the excitement going.
Justin, what a great example you are! It is showing in the growth of the children. Gideon is even growing to the little homesteader. So fun to watch. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
So cute, Lily having carnivore salad 🥰. My husband has an inversion table. It helped him so much. Far fewer chiropractic appointments. Love how the high tunnels are starting to look.
Great video with lots going on. We are thinking of adding ducks to our smallholding over here on the UK. Loved what Joel was saying as it resonates with us, we are learning as we go.
The Beautiful One is looking good. The Boys were really surprised and had fun with their Pappa while Momma, Lilly, Penelope and Laurene were having Birthday be Party. High Tunnel coming right along. The Aroones (can't spell his name right this moment) garden looks great. The Homestead is looking great. God Bless and Peace Be With You All
Uncle Stud Muffin: "How's my babies momma?" love it! Hey, are you putting ducks as a new series on the Abundant Permiculture Website? Would love to know more on raising ducks for meat (including harvesting). Everything Ive seen have all been mostly negative as far as the mess they make, or its all about the eggs.
Can’t wait to try the pound cake recipe using the Cassava Flour by Otto’s. How much maple syrup did you use Rebekah instead of the sugar? Happy to see you are feeling better with this beautiful baby💕💕
Justin, we live in a townhome with a west facing yard in Phoenix. We have had over 50 days of 110+ weather this summer. All of my basil, tomatoes and squash died. I was able to harvest 20 banana peppers. But, I will keep trying. I think Fall/Spring gardening is our only option. So frustrating.
i'd say the garden was a total win and you did effort to take advantage of second run - just the tomatos were a big win - just a little more variety - it is still not too late for peas - and you got the pro green hoophouse going as well - you are setting yourself up well - maybe more compost and keep trimming things back - leave the big stuff and tackle it with winch assist from tractor - maybe make some space to stockpile logs - you may well find a mkt with local sawmill operators or get a sawmill yourself ship to nyc for the big bucks - mkt opps for small sustainable farms is a big deal and there is demand and direct b2b sales you just have to talk to a al ot of people whether it is you selling beams or flooring or raw logs or flowers or the local farmers mkt #sales and mkt #co-ops #extension service
