TIPS! I work in a boba shop that have the boba cake. The cream is actually the same as sea salt cream they use for drinks. It's combination of whipped cream and a bit of sea salt. But I bet the cream you made in the video taste better tho lol. Good job Inga!

Actually you just need to soft peaks the cream and add any flavour you want. Fold and done. Sea salt is the cheaper way to sub cream cheese

Okay - i actually have so many other nice things to say about this video, but I absolutely have to give mad props to the animator who did all the "DUN"s on the treble cleff because even though it's not note/pitch-accurate, it is actually more or less relatively (spatially) accurate which is a really nice touch to us people who look out for things like that. Animator/after effects person, whoever you are, I think you're a musician and I salute you! And if you're not, then I double-salute you!

Hi Inga. I make chiffon cakes too. I make it all the time. Many years ago, in LA, I suddenly got inspired to recreate a popular chiffon cake I knew from childhood. Caramel custard chiffon cake. Its a chiffon cake with a thin layer of custard on top. It is baked together with the batter. I had no recipe but somehow after several attempts, I was able to make it but better than how I remembered it. The custard or leche flan, was an inch thicker. My problem always was, after inverting the cake and getting it to cool down and taking it out from the spring form, the custard comes out uneven, caves in on one side or. For the many times I have attempted to make a prefect one, I was only successful twic, where the custard came out perfectly level. I hope you can also recreate this and hopefully figure out a way where the custard comes out clean and smooth and level without the cake itself losing volume because of the weight of the custard. Thank you so much and I hope you can find time to accede to this request :). I'd be forever grateful. Im Filipino living in Texas.
