Question if anyone can help: When using SEAD my dmg fluctuates. Sometimes it’s in the 2-300 per strike and then sometimes it’s only like 30 points of dmg per strike. I use both grounded and Axe Hopper in SEADs. Anyone know why this is?
This is called hitzone value. You need to know the monster's elemental resistance stats. For example, rathian, this monster has resistance to dragon element. Head = 30 points, neck = 15 points When you hit the head You'll take more damage than hits the neck. You can check the values from the hunter note.
@@Tiieleven Ok so earlier I was fighting Valtrax, I know his weaknesses are pretty much any elemental so I was using an elemental charge blade. I hit a nice SEAD on the head, the initial hit with the weapon itself was like 500 or so dmg but then the discharges were only like 30 dmg a piece. Is this what you mean by hit zone issue? Apologies if it’s a bit redundant, just trying to get a bit of clarification because I really like this weapon and thinking of maining it henceforth.
@@Maltray88 the valstrax is unique When it turned body to red (enrage) The elemental resistance will be changed to 0 except for the forelegs. You focus on that point if you want to deal damage.
