The best way I managed to finish him off was throwing on Shamans and blasting him after he goes second phase. Still to me just feels like a bad way to increase difficulty by changing the stage (Similar to no eyes but as long as you take him slow and pick your shots it’s pretty easy).

Marmu may be mechanically uninteresting but honestly this fight gets carried up several spots by how cute Marmu is and also it's fun to juggle the boss around. I would have easily given that spot to No Eyes instead.
The only difficulty Massive Moss Charger presents is when you're trying to draw the entire hunters journal (for some reason). That thing took me like half an hour just to get all the detail right, and I usually draw stuff in ten minutes most. Otherwise it's only purpose is to make people feel good for beating their first radiant boss lol
Great list, slight disagree on Uumuu story version just because Quirrel coming in with the assist is so emotionally satisfying (without it in the pantheon tho it's hot trash), as well as marmu cuz I find juggling him in the air cute asf
Flukemarm is imo the easiest in the game just get 6 free hits for the soul and spam the abyss shriek under him which will also usually kill the minions

Here in Brazil, a man called Dillian Resende is trying to do all the Hollow Knight endings using just the shield amulet. Some time ago he defeated Flukemerm (idk how to write it) this way and it took an INCREDIBLE 18 days. Now he's in coliseum 3, and he's only improved his stinger (which also improves his shield) once. He has been in the challenge for around 80 days in total, and 30 of them in the 3rd coliseum alone. He has also finished Cuphead with just the axe, along with the DLC, taking around 130 days. I was just going to talk about Flukemerm, but I had to give this guy credits😅 (I write this using the Google translator)
My list goes like this. 5. Elder Hu, if you get bad patterns, the fight lasts forever 4. Vengefly King, half the battle is spent on scream animations 3. Marmu, whack a mole is boring 2. Traitor Lord, prime example of a boring boss made only "difficult" because of double damage. 1. No Eyes, terrible soundtrack boring attacks and a pain in the ass to chase around.
That first one is an interesting curveball bc if you try to play it like a normal boss (dodge and poke) it's surprisingly hard to deal with. Its neat figuring out the solution, tho im sure its tedious redoing the fight after that.
I think it’s important to look at the context of the bosses, especially with Vengefly King. He isn’t in the game to serve as a complex bossfight but as an introduction of new mechanics that the player needs to use in order to defeat the boss (swinging downwards while airborne). It might be an easy mechanic but can be challenging to figure iut when playing for the first time. Without the context tho you are right this bossfight is really boring
didn't even realise vengefly king was a boss, since hornet is the main boss of greenpath. Same for the soul warrior (i think that's what he's called, since he has no title)

If you want to juggle a boss, do it with dung defender.
No eyes may be a really dumb boss mechanically, but no other boss in the game has creeped me out more than meeting her for the first time.
