    I think they are migrated birds. At our place migrated birds visits in November to December months,

      In the link you said it's written that the mauritian sheldgoose is qn extinct species which means that it is no more and disappeared completely right..so i don't think it's called the Mauritian sheldgoose..but nice try..i guess we will have to wait for researches to be sure about its species and how it got here!
