Lol. Some here think that the dramatic overacting from past movies is suppose to be the standard for all westerns. Saying lives as written is a good thing. Johnny Ringo shooting one of the gang was not unusual.
Doc Holiday was as ruthless as Ringo. Think about it. The old days were calmer than these days. Most did not telegraph their thoughts nor their moves.

You said it looked like the movie was done by a bunch of high school kids, and I have watched movies done by high school students, and some of them are really good 👍👌👏, so I started to watch this movie. I am really sorry my friend, but I have to disagree with you. I think it was done by some toddler's, because I know that my 8 year old great niece could even make a better movie than this, and can even act
As a history buff, and one who went to film school and wrote a couple of things, I quite agree your great-niece could write one better than this.
Mr RS. I agree. The acting is akin to grade-school level. It absolutely pales in comparison to Tombstone, the movie with Val Kilmer and Kurt Russell. Hollywood, no one has mentioned, sensationalized both. Neither Doc Holiday nor Wyatt Earp shot Johnny Ringo. If anyone who viewed and commented here, they did it solely to be entertained. The movie in which Russell was cast, like this 1, was incorrectly written. In real life -- you can look it up or watch a fact-based video of the story -- Ringo had escaped jail regularly and, fed up with having killed so many -- hung himself. He was on his horse, with a noose and kicked the horse to die.
Kurt Russell was honest when interviewed during the shooting that other version of the film didn't correctly tell the story.
But yes, the acting IS poor.
First 13 seconds I love the music.

When you think of Tombstone, all that come to mind is a delicious slice of pizza 🍕🍕🍕
Looks like a 10 yr old wtote this and the 7 yr old sibling was doing the filming.

I could tell by the opening scene that the filming would be nothing like the area of Tombstone. In fact, the areas supposedly in town were full of trees and tall grass. There are trees in Southern Arizona, but mostly in the Huachuca Mountains and not close to Tombstone at all. We have trees but 99% of them are Mesquite trees. None of the events...none of them, happened like this film shows. No railroad in town until after 1903, Curly Bill was more of a ringleader than Johnny Ringo, Behan is WAAAAY too old, Virgil survived an attempted assassination losing the use of his arm, Morgan was shot while playing pool, Claiborne was shot outside the Oriental Saloon by Buckskin Frank Leslie, Ringo was found dead in Cochise County likely of a suicide nowhere near Colorado, and there is no "Vendetta Ride" at all shown except in Colorado? Where no one from Tombstone was ever killed. It is very likely that Wyatt never visited Holliday in Colorado or even considered it. Unfortunately for the actors, it was the deadest, slow moving, script ever. I will never get this hour and 22 minutes back, and my wife even asked me, "Why the hell are you even continuing to watch it???" Alas she was right...

I liked the movie: it was interesting and entertaining and held my attention. Okay, the acting and directing weren't Hollywood slick, but the scenery, the costumes, the props. and the makeup were great. I liked the plot. I also liked the realty show feeling. This seemed to me to be a first attempt at making a movie. I don't know how historically accurate it was; at least it didn't glorify the gunfighters and what they did. I've stopped watching a lot of Hollywood movies because they were totally boring despite their celebrity actors and spaghetti westerns because they were too gruesome and violent.
Historically accurate, don't think so. When Marshal Fred got shot by the cowboys did you notice the lean to in the background?
Don't know how much metal roofing was available in a silver town in 1881, but I'm pretty sure trimdek wasn't around nor treated pine round posts on fencing like the ones the cowboys are standing against when the sherriff took their guns.

a gunfight is like a box of choc-o-lates. Every time a cast member was shot dead, it lessened the pain of the acting
. . . fortunately for everyone involved, Alec Baldwin was not part of the cast.

@@nurscathwill hello CW, You may be watching on android where ads are in abundance on RUclips but if you are on desktop with a laptop and windows if you install Firefox browser and use an adblock add-on you'll not see ads on any of the media. I use Adblock Ultimate, all free add-ons. I've given up watching RUclips on android unless i know the channel has no ads (usually small channels) but there's nothing worse than losing one's self in a beautiful film out of the 2021 era only to be jolted back into retail reality with incessant ads. And although I don't pay for ad removal on RUclips I've got Netflix and i bought Cyberghost VPN for NZ$ 40 for 15 months and you can bypass geo restrictions and watch many other movies from other countries but if you set the VPN to the USA then on RUclips you can watch all the Free with Ads movies and on Firefox you don't get the ads. Statues have more expression and acting abilities. Was hoping it would get better, but no. Painful to watch.
I couldn't get past the 1st 10 minutes. The acting is horrible, bad dialog, the sound effects & recording are sad & the timing is really bad. Whoever wasted their money to make this film made a bad investment. Sorry!

The characters certainly do not have the faces that you could have expected given the time they seem more than the unemployed taken at random and placed there just because they lacked actors ... the 2 clean white saloons that look like a hospital Holliday was not like us the film shows it even for the time he was still a dandy
in short, a bad movie to see after a few minutes I changed film and I looked for a decent one

WOW, just now seeing your comment for the first time. I couldn't agree with you more! I keep hearing how all the movies, actors, talk shows, etc. are going to change in the future. I read just yesterday that Oprah is now in GITMO awaiting her fate. All the bad ones will go down, one at a time. As I watch some of the old movies on Pluto and Tubi, I wonder through the whole movie if the actors are still alive.

This movie is like a wooden sculpture park.
Having been a western re-enactor for over 30 years, this film was like a load of newbies to the re-enacting putting on their first show. No-one had a clue as to when they were supposed to act out their scenes, and there were a lot of awkward silences! The acting was so wooden, no-one dare light a match!
The lamest I mean worst Tombstone movie I ever had the misfortune to wade through. Gunfight At the Okay Corral it weren't. Treated the 2nd half as a comedy which made it better viewing 👺
How can you tell the difference between the furniture and the wooden actors ?

Every aspect of this movie was pitiful, just pitiful.
My son is in the film industry and I have a library of the films he’s worked on and watching this is like watching a student’s term project. The acting is rough the sound is difficult and the choppy camera work could fuse better editing.

First there was motion pictures, then there were talkies, and now this one actually stinks! They should have read a history book before trying to do the OK corral fight. And I agree with some of the other comments that I've seen much better acting in high school plays! I just couldn't get past 22 minutes. What a disgrace!
