We have been using the curved levelers for about 4-5 years and they are so easy…we love them. ✌️

I think I am the last one to the curved RV leveling party! 🥳

I am a newbie, got my first rv ( class C) so I have only moved my rv 3 times now.
First time I used the boards. It wasn't a good experience. It took me many attempts to get close to level.
Second time , I got leveling blocks. It was a lot better but it still took a few attempts and never got it perfect.
Third time I used the curved levelers. First try and I got it perfect. I love these things❤❤❤.

Thank you for the recommendation on a brand. I have been using wood blocks. So far so good. But I know the time will come that they don’t work well. I haven’t even begun to look or research. I have come to trust you because you are a woman, camp little, and you drive a Glad so of course I trust you.

Hey fellow girl camper Linda! 😀 I did a lot of research before I decided on the Carmtek curved levelers and when I got them they I could feel that they are quality built!

We have been using these levelers since we started camping in our 2022 LGM with great results. My son-in-law uses the wood planks that are really hard to carry around but he has the strength to deal with them. I would heartily recommend the rolling ones.

Hi Christine! I wish I would have bought this curved leveler years ago. Guess I am late to the party! ☺️ Much easier to carry around than the wood blocks!

On our Casita I welded plates, then bolted on Bal 24002D scissor jacks - they have worked great for 6 years, leveling and storage. I use a drill & ratchet to adjust.

Good topic Randi. I have the stacking blocks like legos & overall they work well. I have wondered about this product and appreciate what you presented. We have a dual axel so I suppose we would need two if we choose to up our game. Thank you!

Great review! A tip for you as well: when placing or removing the chock, don’t put your thumb between the tire and the chock! In case the rv settles at that moment.

To make leveling with leveler even easier (I use an Andersen Leveler), add a Level Mate Pro to the camper. With that combo you can level in about 5 minutes.

So far, I’ve been able to move side to side on the lot and find a side to side level spot with the LevelMate on my iPhone. If you’re slightly off side to side the arc leveler works great. Dismount, chock the trailer. Unhook the trailer then use the tongue jack to get your front to rear level. Now they say the LevelMate comes up on your Iwatch. Aye, carumba. Can it get any easier?

Curved levelers are definitely easier to use. When I got my trailer, Andersons were the only ones available and they were expensive. So I made my own out of wood. Cost me almost nothing since I already had the wood left over from another project.

Just thought I'd share that it is much harder to back a trailer onto blocks or levelers than it is to pull them forward onto the levelers. It's also easier on your tow vehicle transmission.

    • @RandisAdventures
      @RandisAdventures  Год назад

That's genius! Why do we always back up verses pull forward?!?! 👍

Great review they look like they would be easy to use I think we all started out with wood blocks I’ve upgraded to the orange Lego blocks and they work great for me I have a tandem axle trailer and I’d be worried that one would slip and the other would grab if they work great for you that’s wonderful thanks from Wisconsin

We’ve been using this type of leveler for many years (Anderson) and we will NEVER go back to wood blocks. These are so easy and a perfect level every time. (Watch your levels as you back up, then chock it from other side when it is perfect). We are now using them on our truck/truck camper too. ❤❤❤❤

I have always used wood blocks modified so that they hold together and level up to 6 inches. Have had no problems with them.
The curved levelers would be much easier to use, especially with a second person to be watching the level and inserting the wedge.
