100% dead on correct about people asking for something you don't carry ~ Just had a lady come in today asking for a soap I don't make from a competitor~ Nope, sorry doesn't sell for us~But thank you for asking us about it~!

You are so right about people or customers making suggestions on fragrances....I have gone down that path and they have never been great sellers for me! Some of the ingredients in products are more for label appeal and really nothing more.
It’s so tough because we want to make our customers happy…but we have to be SUPER selective! ❤️
I make a list of requests and then I look and see if there are any trends. Two things I get asked for in my area almost all the time is goat milk and patchouli. I do consider these things sometimes IF I'm looking at making a product/scent. But definitely proceed with extreme caution when considering making product based on customer requests.
Bulk apothecary is my go to for essential oils. Cheaper than wholesale supply plus even when they have a sale.
Good to know about the prices too! I don’t use a ton of essential oils but I like what I’ve gotten from them.

Put some press n seal or plastic wrap on top of the mixer guard no more splatters you can see through it I use press n seal. It works great.

TIP- might want to purchase a silicon/rubber mat to minimize the movement of your dispenser machine :)

@@caitlinblue caitlin if I can give you a tip...not sure what you use to sanitize your equipment be it RA or IA but a friend of mine recommended using denatured alcohol for equipment and packaging because it doesn't have detergents ..if you go on the youtube videos for Essential wholesale labs even they use it on their equipment and packaging....they also use dionized water

I recently had to get a new manual pump and the lever is sooo hard to pull down. I think I may have to get a pneumatic one soon too!

Hey, Caitlin! What if you put a spongy padded something around the handle on your product pump? You could just pull it off and wash it when needed.....or a peice of pool noodle?🤔

I haven't tried those companies. I currently work with a private label fragrance company so I am phasing out most of the soap suppliers for fragrance.
