For beginners guides of people just learning the boss and getting your first kills I would always be recommending people at lease 2 portents of restoration. It is the most slept on items for bossing starters. When Rasial hit for big damage a porter triggers and auto heals for you making it much much more easier for a beginner not to be overwhelmed. I know its not optimal to use them long term but there is a difference between what rookies should bring to learn and get their first kills and what they should have while optimizing kills once they've got it down.
3:03 is so important. This is what's giving folks trouble. I literally practiced this 5 minutes before finding your video and figured it out. 7:55 was also worth watching this for by itself
if you anticipate before he charges at you, he doesn't knock off your prayer + you don't take an extra hit and depending on your rotation he will do it around 1:24-1:34ish
I do not recommend using life transfer incantantion before starting the fight, it cant go beyond 60 seconds so if you use it while the summons have 5 or 10 seconds active it will only recover that time, its best to use it when they are around half way on their timer that way it will recover the full 24 seconds. You can actually confirm this at 8:55 as when he uses life tranfer the skeleton he just summoned only recovers 3 seconds as that is the time it lost while being active.
I figured it'd be nice to have those extra seconds and just to focus on the fight, it's better to activate them later in the fight (if you can sacrifice the health).
@@ProtoxxGaming You can see in the video that your ghost didn't benefit from LT, it's the only one that's worth using LT for as it has a shorter duration than the other two summons so it's key to summon that second generally and ensure it has the boost. For people who aren't the best at rotations command Skel + Ghost with ability active will deal a lot more damage compared to a revo/panic eat rotation. For people that are really struggling with the damage output it may be best to save, or time the second deathskulls with when he'll summon his minions as the DS damage amping bug would trigger on the minions giving and extra round of +20/40% on the bounces to him. Another point worth noting that isn't commented on in the video is that Darkness/Dodge in general is useless for the bulk of his damage which are AA's or abilities, I believe at the moment you can only dodge his ghost walls and it should be fixed to dodge AA's later. Regarding Arch relics FOTS should be taken over Deathward due to how adrenaline-starved Necro is as a combat style. Core relics should be CoE and FOTS, with the third as utility being either Het/Deathward. Edit: Adding to this regarding Auras, Mahj is absolutely the best due to the skulls bug. For people that may be struggling damage wise it's better to do the triple-skulls in LD rotation if they have adrenaline renewals, supreme invig makes it doable with regular adrens and is a lot easier, the key is to immediately touch of death after LD and skulls straight after.
@@ProtoxxGaming moving and attacking on mobile is clunky, but it works. Tap the ability, then tap the screen to move. Gotta practice on the combat dummies because it's not intuitive, but gets easier over time.

This is a good guide, but it definitely needs an update. Being a new skill it would help to stay upto date on necromancy only bosses as the updates come out.
This is another one of those eat an entire mammoths worth of food and live by 2 ticks for drops like dark animica stone spirit until you have the entire set of armor. lol. (edit: blood siphon/blood reaver case closed. wow). Thanks protoxx!
Well, this guide was good enough to get me my first couple kills, as well as confirm that it's simply not a farmable boss for me. Both my kills were just barely successful, used up an entire inventory of food, took about 3 minutes, and cost way more than the value of the drop from the boss. With some bosses I struggle with I can identify the problems and get better with practice, but not with this boss (I understood my problems on the attempts where I died, but I have no idea how I could use less food, dodge better, or anything like that). Even with all the guides in the world I can't see how people are getting kills in less than a minute and claiming the boss is easy. With how difficult this boss is to me, he would need to have a rare drop every 3 kills or so to be worth it.
I think some of the guides don't explain all of the buffs being used. Haven't fully watched this one because I don't actually have a Zuk cape and given the pizza phase mechanics/timing, likely never will. So, the term "beginner" here is a little misleading imo.
If your stuggling with hp use vamprism aura it gives you just enough to survive most things aslong as you avoid the 2 main attack, also when hes behind the wall i found moving every 4 sevonds stops 70% of the dmaage
Pvm in this game is soooo daunting. You have to do so many clicks or actions per second it's draining remembering where your keybinds are for everything and also keeping an eye on the subtle actions the boss makes to know when to prayer switch or move etc. It's honestly so confusing and there isn't an easy way into it.
Personally, I think it would be beneficial if you used another term for eating several food in the same tick, due to the term "Tick-eating" being popularised in osrs, and is not the same thing as eating more than one food within the same game tick. I also recall you used the term for another video you made sometime in the past, but the term tick-eating from osrs has been more widely used even before then. For those unaware, in osrs there is a slight delay between the damage that is going to be put out (the moment you get an xp drop from your hit) and the moment that the hit actually hits your foe. If you eat anything in this delay, you will survive any damage done to you, because the damage that would have killed you, is calculated based on what hp you currently have, but if you eat above that, you wont be killed. So if you for example have 2 hp, and take a hit that would have hit a 2, but you eat something that heals 1hp, leaving you at 3, you will take a 2 and survive with 1 hp. Tick eating is most commonly used with this context. Just my 2 cents
I don't at the moment. The boss hasn't changed that much really, it's more that Necromancy has changed and has some new things. What i'm trying to say is, compared to all the other stuff I need to update, Rasial would be a little lower on the priority list.
That makes sense to me. I always try to keep up to date on your vids and I am excited to see how necro will evolve with all these new changes. Thanks for the content brother! @@ProtoxxGaming
Honestly no one ever thought before to explain *how* to dps and move at the same time. archglacor's beam phase is a decent area to practice under pressure but I was still never any good at it.
On top of it, once you get the Omni Guard, you can basically just use the Spec, followed by the Auto attack, followed by touch of death, followed by another Auto, followed by Finger of Death, followed by two Autos or until Touch of Death is off Cooldown, followed by it and so on... Each Auto attack under the spec that comes after Touch/Finger or Death or Death Skulls deals double damage. And each Auto attack used under Living Death, generates 2 Necrosis Stacks, so this means you have pretty neat recursion between the Autos and Touch/Finger of Death. The best part is that, if you have the Auto Keybound, or inside your RS Mobile Action Bar, you just click away to move, tap the Auto, then tap again to move, that the auto again, let Revolution use touch of death, move again, use the Auto, and so on. @@Kranon Sounds viable to do then, i just want to grind rasial for his gear but dont want to do the armor twice lol
u can use it, nothing wrong with. Manually apply death mark with the invoke death spell if u are using it though.
Thanks for the tip on death mark, i would have assumed but it's nice confirmation!@@ProtoxxGaming
im sorry but that final phase does way more damage, i cant escape those attacks
Yeah I can't autofire those scrolls and idk why not
u can't? huh :o
Thank you. I was able to kill him! :o
Not really a beginners guide given the need for death skulls at 50% adren with the cape I can't get. 😢
Whats up protoxx
Training necromancy, hbu
is it just me that can't get the hang of this boss whatsoever? 😮💨
for a game that relies on a tik system.. that 4th phase of raisal is straight garbage for making it that way.. forcing you to move and attack AT THE SAME TIME is bs. The game is a tic system and they should not have done that.
I would get a deathwarden nexus to hold your necro runes and necroplasm to save that backpack space noit the grasping pouch
idk how people do this boss. im getting obiterated every time.
man i really want to enjoy this game but this is waaaaaaaaaaay too much nonsense for a game... I don't want to use college-level memory skills just to kill a dude. Can you do a Legacy Combat version? lmao
Oh no! That means i can't melee rasial.....
Taptap taptap taptap
stalking protoxx
D:
Biginner's guides shouldn't focus on such a min-maxxed set-up. Jesus Christo, man.
what an annoying boss to add. No special mechanics, just dps and eat and run around like a coked up monkey. QBD had more interesting mechanics than this. Thanks for the guide. I killed the boss 5 times and that is it for me. I hate it lol
uh bro your "tick eating" is not what tick eating is, sorry dude..
I refuse to learn tick anything, i just spam eat and get drops. i think revolving anything around game ticks is meta garbage
That’s just stupid
You know a lot about combat, but you seem to be missing some of the basics. And i don't think i should tell you what these are. I'm not even going to give you a hint, because these are worth 10 years of f2p. 😊
It's a nice video, especially because it seems to be missing that part. 😊
First
I don’t think players with Zuk cape will need a beginners guide, but each to there own.
I have no idea what the hell you just said lol 😂 I’m screwed
Jas book is best in slot here also not grim.
