In the name of memorials, they want to get some money and land from the govt. Every husband/wife/father/brother/sister is loved by his relatives and children, if they love Vishnuvardhan, they can open a memorial from their own money or money collected by Vishnuvardhan fan's contribution. Saying that govt should give them land is completely wrong. This kind of demand keeps coming only becuase govt gave land for Rajkumar memorial, which was also a wrong decision. Govt should make a policy that no memorials should be built for any politician or actor or anybody.

Was Rajkumar a freedom fighter? They are respected cultural icons of Karnataka. As a tax paying citizen, I feel it's ok to build a memorial in the name of Vishnuvardhan who has been a part of Gokak, Kaveri, Hogenekkal and many other border issue protests or language and water protests.
