My sisters and I played this game when we were kids. It seems like a lifetime ago now when I beat this game, I think I was 15 years old when I last played it, and right now I am 34 years old. So it's been 19 years since I played this game. I think I might go back and replay it for old time's sake.
This just got announce for the NSO Expansion pack. Can’t wait to play this on Switch Online. Haven’t played Banjo Tooie outside of blockbuster rentals 20 years ago. ❤
What I like about Banjo Tooie is that we get to explore the remainder of the outside world. By stepping in Jinjo Village, we are now treading within uncharted places and we are off on an adventure all over the Isle o' Hags.
The version of Spiral Mountain theme in this sequel is a bit decadent and moody, then we get this theme. Because this is the actual new world we get to explore. I like this touch.
I like how no one talks about how the grey jinjos just die because gruntys drill with through their house and you don’t collect them in the game cause they’re dead while this music plays
According to the devs themselves Tooie took some inspiration from Ocarina of Time in a similar way that Super Mario 64 did with Kazooie. With that in mind it’s hard not to miss some parallels like Jinjo Village/Koriki Forest, Jiggy Temple/Temple of Time, far more defined boss fights and even dungeon-like design in some worlds (cough Grunty Industries cough)

Music: Cheerful and Happy
Game:INCLUDES SEVERAL CHARACTERS DIE, MOST NOT COMING BACK TO LIFE.
Banjo-Tooie is a dark game with a cartoonish-looking.
Most?
@@kirbytooie64 A cartoonish-looking what?
it's like stumbling across the village of smurfs

This music is beautiful. Very good hub world ambience.

I just love the honey comes bounce to the music

Sometimes you need to go back to Spiral Mountain to encounter Cheato Code, find a fish that was buried on a rock and find a Jinjo underwater.
So wonderful to hear this remastered. ^^

DARK HUMOR
Or do you mean gray humor?
my first game on my first console. this game is my childhood. There is a time machine, it's youtube.
A whole song for an area where you spend literally 10 seconds
When you don't know what to do at first you can go through Jinjo's Village to explore!
Wrong. You don't spend literally 10 seconds there.
"Kazooie? I don't think we're in Spiral Mountain anymore..."
i played this game when i was 6
Just where are you going punk? 😂
Nostalgia
You know why you're here. . .
Creaking Skull
This gives me Zelda vibes...
