You should do this video type with every racket brand.
I’ve always been intrigued with Prince, from what I hear they make quality rackets, however the marketing has failed them
I use the phantoms and they're fantastic rackets. Largely spin friendly, very arm friendly and a lot of control.
Sounds like a good idea, until one has to cover the HEADache of multiple silos with multiple frames that have overlapping specs! Babolat has the clearest system of differentiation for its racquets.
0:58 - Doesn’t get any simpler than that! Power, Spin, Control; then choose the weight that suits.
@@jerome_morrow I don't even see the point in the instinct anymore
Coming up!
I felt the same way about prince and then started doing research and I’ve only heard great things about their rackets
Really appreciate this contents. Will wait for different brands! :)
Thanks! Coming up
I tried many brands throughout the years, recently Head and Snauwaert... but the Babolat pure drive I have started to use recently with 24kg tension (Luxilon/wilson strings) is a much better match for my game. I am just amazed by the among of control and power this combination offers with very little muscle pain so far.
played with pure storm for 15 yers. recently switched to pure strike. pure storm much harder to generate power, better for felling and net play. basically they increased power in pure strike but i like it. observed because of switch i became more baseline player- previously very aggressive at the net.
It would be very helpfull a quick overview at the Head raquets lineup
There’s no such thing as a quick review when it comes to HEAD’s line up!
Coming up!
Head lineups is kinda confusing.
Lies again? Babe Solat
I have a really good racket idea for babolat.
A mixture of all three for players:
1. They should add the AeroModular3 shape for this racket. It will give a boost in spin overall since no modern player can win without involvement of heavy spin.
2. They should add “FSI Power” and “FSI Spin” together. By putting spin grommets in the mains (12 and 6) and diamond shape grommets (for more power) in the crosses. This is a boost in both the aspects of the modern game, spin and power.
3. Woofer System for better connection with the ball.
4. A 16x19 or 18x20 (according to player’s choice) or increase either “spin and power” or “control”.
5. The flex rating in my opinion should be lower (around 63 or 64) since this racket will need more control and also because professional players usually want to put their own power into the shots and ground strokes to prevent hitting long.
6. Babolat should create a new string with this racket. It will have 5 spikes and the spaces between them will be layered to increase spin while not loosing control and power.
7. Approximate racket weight can be 305 grams so that there is more control but players strength will be tested in using the racket.
I agree this will be a rather expensive racket with all the technologies put in but it will be a worthy expenditure for professionals but not beginners, recreational players or intermediates.
Ngl…that is practically genius. Tho expensive.
Somewhat new to tennis. Got two Pure Aero rackets and just bought a Pure Strike. I'm trying to copy Nadal's heavy topspin forehand because it's a good match for the Pure Aero rackets. So far I'm liking the Pure Strike even better. More control and just feels more plush coming off the stringbed. And I feel like I get plenty of spin. Maybe it's the strings. the Pure Aero rackets have RPM Blast and the Pure Strike has Hyper G. So far I like the Pure Aero rackets. But I love the Pure Strike.
if you new to tennis sell pure strike racket not for you yet, I would recommend to new players to try pure drive or pure drive lite. easy to swing, good power helping in defence to new tennis players and strong serve out of it. good racket for fun. never played with aero so not sure about it
@@AndrewBaba I appreciate the advice. But after this message I bought a Pure Aero VS and it fit me well. Playing a Head Extreme Tour and love it. I just needed a more headlight racket.
love ur vids i just bought the baolat pure strike 18x20 305g I love it ... :)
How did you find it ?
Babolat used to be good but the tennis market has moved on with so many manufactures offering the same / similar tweener style racquets but with much much better comfort. Babolat are stuck in the past with their elbow inducing offerings.
Can you give examples of such rackets?
I had elbow problems in the past. I used ProKennex rackets for that matter. I switched 2 years ago to the Babolat Pure Aero and I don´t have elbow problems. I don´t know the other models, but the PA is a very forgiving frame.
I would agree that Yonex and Technifibre have been progressing faster, but Babolat remains one of the very best options. IMHO far ahead if Wilson and still ahead of Head.
I love the pure control tour. I would like to try the 95 and plus lengths
Hello! Thanks for all the advice! I started to follow your channell and find it super helpful. My question is this: I bought a Pure Aero Rafa, tried 1 hour with a Multifilament and, because I like to hit "hard" the ball, the Top Spin (with multi) did not work out very well. I put, immediately, RPM Blast (monofilament), ask for 55 pounds of tension, but they put less doing a poor job, and it definetely Top Spin got better. In my opinion it was probably 50 pounds of tension. If I get it to 55 I will be ok, I think. But... can I get more control if i ad weight? And where shoud I add it? Will SPIN be the same? Thank you. You are a master!!
what is the best string for Pure Strike 18/20 and what is the best tension?
I see a lot of people complaining about Babolat racquets and how they are arm wreckers. I guess I must be an exception but I’ve been hitting with Babolat racquets since I was a kid and I’ve never had any issues with them minus the difficulty in changing the bumper guards lol.
Who knows? Maybe your arm's bulletproof?😂
Love the video! By any chance could you do this with Yonex rackets? I want to switch from my babolat pure aero tour but and I dont know which Yonex I want
:(
I’ve heard the vcore 98/100 are good options to switch from pure aeros
Yes, coming up, covering all main brands
I personally love the babolat pure aero, nice video sir
I just got the pure aero rafa, it’s not bad for forehands but it’s not that easy to hit my one hander the way I normally hit with my Wilson blade
I have a one handed backhand, and the Pure Aero works fine.
I bought a pair of 2021 Pure Drives, and now wishing I had bought the Pure Aero.
left the raquet in a car I abandoned and forget it and was looking for it, looked it up used and they wanted more than new, back with my old TiRadical
Can you make a revised video of the wilson , prince and head rackets with this simplicity video explanation?
Also in addition where you write the summary of each rackets like pure aero for spin and the others
I need some help getting a new racquet, I really liked the Babolat pure storm GT because of his head shape elliptical form,
I have tried the blade 98 from 2015 but its too stiff for me and the head shape from the blade is kinda different from the babolat. Im looking for a curve head shape an STIFFNES below 63 RA, and I like the 98, and 100sq head size, and also the weight not too heavy like 300g
Dear babolat if you read this... please make the frame a bit arm friendly
Hello. I am interested in such an important issue for me. I have an interest in two rackets, but the problem is that I do not have the opportunity to hold them in my hands and evaluate. I would like to know if there is a big difference between them and what exactly. that according to the data they differ little or maybe I'm wrong in something. Babolat Pure Strike Lite / Wilson Blade 100UL V7.0. I have an attacking style of play, I play more on the back line, but I also like to go to the net, depending on the situation, I have a flat shot, left-handed.
I think nobody can really recommend a racket (without watching you play). Try to get demos or borrow them from friends. Otherwise buying rackets is trial and error.
Do one of these episodes on Wilson next! I want to move on from the 2019 pure aero and trying to decide between the blade 98 v7 and the blade pro 16x19
Yes coming up
I would use them if they reissue the original aero prodrive
Great idea 😉
Great video. Wondering if you done similar video for Wilson and yonex as well
cant believe they quarantined the tennis courts outside crazy are you not to supposed to keep fit. Is it also not possible to go for a jog?
They have opened them again! Back to hitting 🎾
I hate Babolats QC but can't deny how good their rackets still are. So many different options that just work great for me.
what is QC
@@xticxs4656 Quality control
I have the 2nd gen 18x20 PS ( I think it is better than gen 3); I also have the PS 3 Gen 16x19...I play better , and more confidence , with PS18x20... I’m a fairly flat hitter. I think the 360 speed mp 16x19 is better than the PS 16x19.
can u pls suggest the best strings for Pure Strike 18*20 pls
I offer plenty of suggestions in my racquet course, but I would go Hyper-G Soft 1.25 for a good blend of power/control, otherwise HEAD Lynx Tour Orange if you are a big hitter
Not all Babolats are stiff. Pure Storm Ltd aka Pure Control 95 is a very flexible racket that has a RA of 58-62
Yes, the older ones, which I really like, but the ones you can buy now are all pretty stiff
@@Tennisnerd You should do a video review of this stick.
ruclips.net/video/uNr4XnvWoqI/видео.html
Pure comfort racquet line maybe
Why not all??
PLEASE do this for prince. No one knows enough about them anymore
Their natural gut is their best product.
@Foxtrot Oscar the Aeros are extremely comfortable
Have you play tested any Artengo racquets from Decathlon stores?
Yes the TR 990 Pro - actually a nice racquet for the price!
Why haven’t these new lines of rackets impressed you? I remember you telling me that in another video... I’m currently looking for a new racket
Just a bit too stiff for me, would have liked to see a more refined feel. Although the Pure Strike 98 is a lot of fun to use
@@Tennisnerd that’s the white and red/black one with the thin beam right ?
Pure control
The strike tour has a lower stiffness rating
All babolats are aimed at attacking players?
Babolat doesn't care about me. I'm using 350g+ and
It´s because, I think, almost nobody uses 93 sq anymore. Babolat doesn´t care about me, so I customized my Pure Aeros to 360g.
@@miguelbarahona6636 almost nobody? Dude it's your opinion. A lot of people play flat using 93 and 18x20 pattern. Babolat say that nowdays everybody wants to play like Rafa, spin here, spin there, but thats a bullshit. Forgiveness? I beg my wife for forgiveness not my tennis racquet.
@@jackhorror4056 Sorry, I don´t know every player out there, but everyone I know goes 97-100 sq in. I have been a topspin guy since forever (forehand and backhand), before that guy, who you said... Rafa?. As my wife doesn´t give me forgiveness, my racket does, hahaha.
They need to stop lying that Rafa used all those different racquets
just found out they are french, I thought they were from spain because of Nadal lol
What Babolat racquet should you use? None of them. 😉
haha so yeah. I am a huge Nadal fan but hate Babolat rackets lol
I guess you are better than Nadal, Thiem, Norrie, Tsonga, Alcaraz, Fognini, Aliassime...
@@miguelbarahona6636 Yea, I'm on the ATP tour rn, ranking is higher than all of them
@@megamind9175 Ok. Now I have all the data I needed, hahaha. Cheers!
@@miguelbarahona6636 good to know, i love you too
