- Days like this can be super frustrating! But not all photography outings are going to work out exactly how you think. Sometimes it's best to be flexible, grateful, and adjust your subjects and methods as needed. Thanks for joining me again on another photography adventure around the woods on the bike. I'll get that owl next time!

Love the woodland shots. The denoising software is wild. I'm blown away.
It's been a game changer! They gave a free trial so you can play with it on a bunch of new/old shots that you thought were long gone. It's not perfect, but for a one click method it's really good ...
I like that you included when you didn't get the shot. I've been chasing a red tailed hawk on my evening walks for 2 or 3 weeks now without success. You're right, we have to find fun in it even when we don't get the shot we're after
One day you'll get it ;)
I dig the lay-out of these videos, fun relaxing video with little tips and tricks!
riding a trail and getting a face full of spider is one of my nightmares 😲..😆
Haha! It's happened more than once and is not fun :)
This is a pretty cool channel
Thanks for stopping to check it out :)
X-E1 ftw!!! ❤️❤️
A really really nice camera :)
80% of good photography is composition. Great spider shots!!
Excellent video. Throughly enjoyed the walk in the woods, the talk and the photos. Was blown away by the spider pics at the start of the video. Subscribed !
Hey thank you! I appreciate the kind words.
James
I photograph when I hike sometimes in the mountains photograph ing landscape sometimes the beach shore birds , Pelicans. Egrets, mainly as well as other wildlife
I love photographing a variety of things when I'm out in nature too :)
A few years back I picked up the ttartisans 35mm 1.4 but never really gave it much of a chance before parting with Fujifilm. I recently picked up a xt20 and still have the lens in the closest. I’ll have to dust it off and give it another go. Great video and awesome photos!
Let me know how you get on with it 👍I'm finding it nice and dreamy wide open but still acceptably sharp, and quite sharp stopped down!
Цепь скрипит, смазывай чаще))). Спасибо за видео
Great composition tips on the spider! You know, I don't know of many 300mm lenses like that pentax one, I think Canon and Nikon have that prime, but not many others that I can find
I honestly love it. I would have a hard time switching to anything else now that I'm used to it.
Hi James - I'm also a busy dad with little time strictly for image making. My wife and I run a small dairy farm and I make a lot of my images while I'm out doing chores. I also always bring a camera for family walks. Some of my favorite images have been made while filling cow water or on the walk out to the barn in the AM. Cheers to multi-purpose photo missions.
What phone are you using for the vlog material? Lovely image quality.
I'm also really impressed by what that little Fujifilm with the manual glass can do! Beautiful colors and rendering.
I love that. The phone I'm using is the Google pixel 6. Much better video than the older pixels, not quite as nice as the iphone I used to have :) but it works great!
I struggle going out and NOT taking a photo of my bike...😉😆
It's mandatory :)
Of course I'm subscribed bro🤣
😬 gotta watch what I say 😆
Is your phone afraid of spiders? 😂
Bare with me. I am English and I bought a house in Nova Scotia which was owned by an ornithologist in Texas and he left a number of his cassette tapes which had been professionally marketed and they were the songs of birds he had recorded in Texas. Would you like me to send you one for free? The are mono which is a shame but otherwise well recorded, with sleeve notes and pretty unique I would think. I would imagine he is dead now as he would be 95 if not.
About the snakes... how come you don't take pictures of them?
Usually because I get out of there as soon as possible lol. I'm not deathly afraid of them, but pretty close.
