This is an outstanding interview in which Leon very accurately explains the many aspects of the prophetic. He points out the difference between the gifts of prophecy and the office of the prophet. The guidelines that he gives for people laying hands on others is also important. Some people do not want unknown people to lay hands on them. There are many Biblical truths explained, like the honouring of the anointed of God. This interview needs to be watched again to grasp the contents fully. Thank you André.

You are welcome to have an opinion but a better option would be to follow what God's Word, the Bible says:
Matthew 10:41 (NKJV) He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward. And he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward.
In other words, when a Fivefold minister is received or honoured for who they are, a gift from God to the Body of Christ, you will experience the blessing or reward they carry.
You might not like this, but God can design His Kingdom as He wants.
Life flows through honour, but where dishonour is, nothing works.
Even Jesus, in his home town couldn't do great miracles because of the dishonour: (which is a symptom of unbelief)
      Matthew 13:57-58 (NKJV)
57 So they were offended at Him. But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own country and in his own house.” 58 Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief.
      Blessings

@@KingdomUnleashedAndreKruger I'm pretty aware that I have an opinion, so do you. What Jesus said didn't mean there was no prophecy, it meant you didn't get the prophetic reward. If God sends someone to prophecy in your town for eg, He will do it wether you like it or not, and he won't ask your permission. In fact this was the main way all the prophets of the old testament operated, and were killed, they were completely dishonored all the time. So the people being prophecied to in the old testament never recieved the reward the prophet brought, yet there were prophets prophesying. But you're saying that there is NO prophecy because of dishonor to the minister? That makes no sense.

@@surfshop7552I think the point is that because prophets are dishonoured in the body of Christ, it causes less prophetic grace to be on the church in general. Some churches don't believe in prophecy at all. If the Fivefold gifts, like prophets were valued, then more prophetic grace will flow. The point isn't that there will be no prophecy in the wider body of Christ, but within specific churches there will be little to no prophecy. I hope that makes sense to you. :)

Nooooo..... we are all anointed by the blood of Jesus Christ. You dishonor God when you share in his glory. You use your experiences and human understanding as spiritual testimonies that prove God chose you. People idolize leon, blessing leon, praising the prophet and not one gives any recognition to God and his mercy and grace. This is not biblical, not truth. Jesus Christ fulfilled the office of prophets and therefore Christ is our prophet and mediates not leon or any self righteous sinner

Do you believe the Bible? Ephesians 4:11-15 says clearly that Jesus will give some to be apostles, some prophets, some pastors, some teachers and some evangelists. Do you believe this passage? This is for every generation, scripture doesn't say this will stop at some point before Jesus returns.
And also, 1 Corinthians 12:28 (NKJV)
28 And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues.
It says "God has appointed." This is for every generation, not only for the original apostles and prophets.
Your unbiblical church tradition and incorrect scripture interpretation is causing you to deny scripture and to demonise servants of God. It is not a wise position to take, to stand against and criticise those who Jesus has appointed as His gifts to the body of Christ. No fivefold minister is perfect or has perfect theology, neither is your theology perfect.
I do agree with you that fivefold ministers should not be worshipped, and we should not draw people to ourselves, but to Jesus. That is the challenge for the church leader and for every believer. As church leaders we need to make sure that people know that Jesus is marvelous and we are human and imperfect.
We should all honour the servants of God, but we don't worship them. They are not our mediators. Prophets are not a believer's mediator, they are there to equip the saints for the work of the ministry. Blessings :)

@KingdomUnleashedAndreKruger okay so answering the first question, yes. I believe in all of God's word.
And I don't understand what any of that has to do with what I have said?
Firstly, why do you use "scripture doesn't say this" to defend your views? There are a few things scripture doesn't elaborate on. And this is where I take issue- pastors filling in the blanks from extra biblical sources.
Then your argument is based on your opinion on what you perceive ephesians 4:11 to mean. Because
Peter proposed choosing a new apostle and set the qualifications. Not everyone could be considered for an apostleship. Candidates needed to have been with Jesus during the whole three years that Jesus was among them. That is, he needed to be an eyewitness of Jesus’ baptism when the Heavenly Father validated Jesus’ person and work. He needed to have heard Jesus’ life-changing teachings and been present to see His healings and other miracles. He needed to have witnessed Jesus sacrifice Himself on the cross and to have seen Jesus walk, talk, and eat among the disciples again after His resurrection. These were the pivotal facts of Jesus’ life, the heart of the message they were to teach, and personal witnesses were required to verify the truth of the good news.
So how can there be apostles today?

Hi Sian, you are doing exactly what you are accusing some pastors of doing. You are adding to Scripture. Where does it say in Scripture that to be an apostle you needed to be with Jesus those three years?
Both Paul and Barnabus are called apostles and a number of others as well in the new testament that weren't there.
      Acts 14:14 (NKJV)
14 But when the apostles Barnabas and Paul heard this, they tore their clothes and ran in among the multitude, crying out
Your unbiblical theology which is probably based on unbiblical church tradition, which embraces the belief "that only the original 12 apostles were apostles and there are none after them" is causing you to reject the work of God in the earth through modern day apostles and prophets.
Are there false apostles and prophets? Yes, certainly, just like there are false teachers proclaiming there can't be modern day apostles and prophets, and in the process they are opposing the work of God.
Ephesians 4:11-15 clearly states that this giving of gifts, of the Fivefold, will continue until the body of Christ has come to the fullness of Christ, to perfection. I don't think we're there yet. :)
It takes humility and trust in God to renounce unbiblical church tradition and to embrace what He is doing in the earth.
Many, I presume you included, react to the abuses in the church world and in the process throw the baby out with the bath water.
The answer to abuse isn't the disuse of God-given gifts, but rather the right use of the gifts of the Spirit and the Fivefold ministry gifts.
      Blessings
