Yes, he was 5 when he was put in the business. He wrote a letter home to his mom when he was 6 I think it was that he wanted to go home, & when his dad found out he got spanked and in alot of trouble. Instead of regular school, the kids had correspondence courses & tutors. They never had sports or activities with friends. They spent all day practicing, recording and touring. That's why he says he lives through his kids because he never had a normal childhood.
