Fishing a Glide Bait for Fall Largemouth

Back out on the Forebay with John and Tim. It's the fall and the fish are wolf packing. No better way than to toss a glidebait and see them chase it down. Fishing was slow but we put a few in the boat with the glide bait. Still, our better fish did come on the worm in the current.

yeah i know they get carpet rash, if they were lighter i ussually just hold the line without letting them touch the ground but these guys were a bit on the heavy side, plus i didnt want to pop my glide bait off.

@@fryeguy9939 yeah I know, It knocks some of their slime coat off. It’s not too harmful for the fish, as long as you don’t let them bounce around for awhile or dry up, should be fine. The fish are pretty hardy
