It's cold out but there is a nasty wind and when you are way up off the ground....it's super cold!! Great load of logs....he has maple, ash and aspen on the pup!! It's about the coldest job out here!! Hope you Enjoy!!

Weather like this is what Carhardt's are made for, which I've never had. Always freezing the hindmost off. NO cabs or just r.o.p.s. Dragline cabs you could throw a cat through if you were inclined to do so. But summer will be here in a few days and the sweat will roll. Blessings, yall! No cats were flung in the making of this video.

Man, I wish I knew what real snow was like lol. I used to have a heated vest that I could run off of a battpack in my coat pocket when I was driving a skiploader, and after a while I modified a pigtale into the machine that would power my vest from the 12v supply. It was a small machine with no heat or air, open cab, but when i was driving in the winter, that vest was amazing. I kinda wish i still had it, but it met an untimely death to a furry four legged pesticle pup lol. Anyhoo, stat safe out there in the cold brother. I think I'm going to have to drive out there and steal some of the cold from you!

You made me have a cold chill run up my spine with sound of the wind and seeing the snow kick up out across the field. Question for you, does the chipper shake more and work harder when the logs are froze? Seems like it would. Stay safe and warm!

I would love to try that new loader by Hiab called HiVis. You run the loader from the cab of the truck wearing a headgear that lets you see everything just as if you were sitting on the loader.

That guy has to be real perished sitting up there! -in fact one wonders if it might even be considered dangerous especially when he comes to climb down what with stiff limbs and slippery conditions everywhere.
