- Amber Heard is expected to give more details as her cross-examination in Johnny Depp’s defamation trial continues.
Court proceedings in the defamation trial opposing Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have resumed after a week-long hiatus.
So far cross-examination has included an accusation Heard staged a photo of cocaine on a breakfast table; several challenges to her accounts of injuries at Depp’s hand; and a tense grilling over missing charitable donations pledged from the divorce settlement.

This really ticks me off because I am a survivor. I was beaten and had my head put thru walls. I stayed at project women with other women who were abused. This is an insult to real victims who have endured the real pain and fought to survive. This is not funny amber . This is not a game.

I find it absolutely terrifying listening to Ms Heard screaming, insulting and hounding Depp, stopping him from removing himself from confrontational situations, then begging for forgiveness, pledging eternal love. This is text book psychological abuse. Frankly, I am not surprised he started going downhill. In fact photos show the slow, and horrific, progression of Depp’s unhappiness and relapse into drugs and alcohol dependency. I firmly believe that once Depp finally decided to call it quits, she went on overdrive, asked for a divorce and started accusing him in order to save herself, her career, and reputation. She looks seriously unhinged on stand too. The way she speaks to the jury is near unbearable. And very stupid frankly.
Sorry, folks. I would be the first one to give her my support if I thought for one moment she had been beaten up by Depp. As it is, she exhibits all the signs of an abuser. Which all goes to prove that men can be victims too. The way she behaves on the stand is galling. She absolutely believes her version and will lie in order to win. Facial expressions, general demeanour are grating. Entitled, nasty, vicious and out for a kill. Hope she looses. And gets some help.

Nah fam. Depp was definitely the abuser. One thing I’ve learned in life is women don’t tend to act that way unless the man is failing in his role first. The drugs & alcohol were obviously an issue, So much so that even when they were in an okay place, any slight hiccup on his behalf would send her back into the mindset of how he behaved before- it seems she would try her best to give him the benefit of the doubt or offer excuses for his behavior, but before long he would act true to his nature and do/say the same abusive things. She should’ve stopped dealing with him- matter fact text book common sense says she shouldn’t have got with a man who was addicted to drugs in the first place- in my opinion that’s her only fault in this. Everything else was her futile attempt to have healthy communication with a man who clearly had a problem and wasn’t leading the relationship as he should.

I believe her big plan was for JD to die one way or another. But Johnny beat the odds and got out just in time. A very similar story who is the clone of ATurd is Courtney Love. Unfortunately, Kurt Cobain didn’t get out in time. He did try and was so close. It’s almost as if ATurd read Courtney’s playbook on how to murder you husband to get his millions, houses and everything he’s ever worked hard for. Once the abused victim says they are getting a divorce, that’s when someone ends up dead, and that someone is never the narcissist, sociopathic abuser because they will never walk away until they get what they wanted from day one of their plan.

I agree to a certain extent, I think Johnny when provoked was verbally abusive back and probably broke a a lot of things out of anger but Amber was definitely the aggressor. She was emotionally, verbally and physically abusive to him. She gaslit everything situation and then recorded certain parts to make Johnny look bad as black mail incase she ever needed to use it. And what’s worse is she waited for the perfect opportunity to use it all…the #metoo movement.

I’ve seen the movie many years ago, but I don’t quite remember the storyline. Robert Mitchum played a great, honest attorney who wanted justice. Another very similar storyline is Courtney Love murdering Kurt Cobain. Her and Amber are clones when it comes to personality disorders, narcissistic behavior, abuse, drugs and keeping their eye on the prize until they got what they married for. The only difference is Kurt didn’t make it out alive. He was so close though. But Courtney and Amber are cut from the same cloth and same exact story of abuse for the millions.

I've watched every trial hearing so far and I can honestly say that at some point in the beginning I started to believe SOME of Ambers testimony. I have PTSD. and was in a very abusive relationship with my ex. So with Amber saying stuff in her testimony about all the abuse she experienced anybody that has been in a Domestic Violence relationship could relate to the words she was saying. Honestly today 5/21/2022 after hearing both sides and hearing how Amber is getting caught up in her own lies, I hope Johnny wins this case. It sickens me to hear Amber speak. It sickens me to hear Amber act like she is a victim of Domestics Violence and Sexual Assault. Her Accusations against Johnny Depp not only made me MAD but it also HURT. I say that it Hurt me because D.V. or ANY ASSAULT IS NOT A JOKE or SHOULD BE USED AS A EXCUSSE TO USE IN COURT TO WIN A CASE!!!! What strikes me during this entire thing, is the need for AHs counsel constantly needing to go over evidence. It’s all been given during discovery phase, it’s their responsibility to argue admissibility prior to questioning. Why do they constantly need copies in court, and read/listen to it before being formally introduced?

This trial the verdict the jury the judge, the lawyers and especially the comments below have given me so much validation- for the emotional abuse i went through. Cognitive dissonance from gaslighting puts your mind is a lost place. I feel heard vicariously even though i am not on the stand, just knowing there are sane like-minded people who see the truth. Thank you everyone, so glad Johnny has now won the case.

The commenter is wishing the person in question a bad professional career - apparently as a sort of non-legally based random additional punishment for being generally hard to like. That’s an emotional, court of public opinion type of desire. The kind that used lead to witch burnings and frontier lynchings in the bad old days, but which has in later years taken the form of complete public prostration, shaming and outing and professional destruction for certain types of transgression. This is not what the court, the law or the trial is there for. It is there to deliver a particular evaluation based on a specific set of rules, with certain measured, and preordained outcomes as potential outcomes. None of these imply a ban from ever working in ones profession again. Heard is not a doctor who malpractriced, a lawyer who faked evidence or a teacher who fondled a kid. Suggesting she should never work again is like saying a baker should never be allowed to bake bread again because he got a ticket for speeding and served two months for breaking the leg of a bicyclist in the process. No rational correlation whatsoever.

Who in the world has ever (had) taken two separate photos that look exactly alike; eyes, nose, mouth, literally every single strand of hair on the photo in the same places? I'm certain that if you sized the photos to match up, you could lay one over the other & easily prove that she photoshopped and saturated that picture!

I cannot imagine how that could be 2 different pictures. EVERYTHING is exactly the same except for the color. EVERY SINGLE STRAND OF HAIR is in the exact same position. The wall is at the exact same angle. Her face is at the EXACT same angle. It's almost impossible that they could be taken at 2 different times

I don't know of any time a victim will instigate arguments, in fear of being hit and so violently as she puts it. 1. Women victims of DV will be more reluctant to come forward and seek help and support.
2. Victims of DV, even if they talk about what has happened to them, via a DV help line or support
centre, they could be less likely to press charges/co-operate with police.
3. Perpetrators could use this case to try to turn the tables, should they be charged with DV. This
case will give perpetrators another way of gas-lighting and blaming their partners and claiming
self-defence.
The only positive to come from this case is that hopefully more male victims could come forward
and also, same sex couples where there is either DV or IPV will also seek support.

I think Johnny when provoked was verbally abusive back and probably broke a a lot of things out of anger but Amber was definitely the aggressor. I was raised by my mother, who was abused by my father. I have mirrored her in a lot of ways, and have had a relationship that was abusive, verbally and physically. I blamed myself, I never thought it serious that I had bruises-“be a man about it” mentality. I have little doubt that Johnny has contributing issues, isn’t a saint. I know that I’m not. But I recognize a vulnerability that I feel I share, and it’s a begging to be enough to someone that they’ll not think of you so little.

The 2 pictures of Amber are Identical you can lay them on top of each other and every single hair matches up. That means it's the same picture she just adjusted the color in the one photo so that it makes her face appear more red so it looked like she had been hit and left the original photo untouched.
