If there's one animator who I most aspire to be on the level of one day, Okiura is that animator. The fluidity, the 3-dimensionality of the layouts, the volume and anatomy of the characters, the subtle body language, those are all things that I haven't seen any other animator manage to equal Okiura on. Mitsuo Iso and Keisuke Kobayashi probably come closest for me, but he really is in a league all his own.
There is Shinji Hashimoto, Shinya Ohira, Toshiyuki Inoue, etc. and outside of Japan many more. Okiura is my favorite animator but there are many other animators who can do just as well or better (it's subjective after all), in my opinion. And I liked your description of Okiura's animation, there is just plenty of aspects that make it so outstanding.
Okiura is my favorite animator period. He seems to be the master of them all: character, effects, action, machinery etc. Every scene he's animated really stands out in the films and series he's worked on.
I imagine Okiura drawing all day, since he wakes up until he goes to sleep, with a smile on his face while he animates and nails the motion of the characters, making them feel real. I bet he could make any drawing move and feel like it's alive.
I like sakuga videos but I think sakugabooru is killing anime little by little. People watch the cuts in that site instead of the anime or the chapters.
Because that's what SakugaBooru's purpose is for. Just watching a cut animated by an individual animator like for example i wanna learn the key animation style of Yoh Yoshinari, Hiroyuki Imaishi, Yutaka Nakamura or Hiroyuki Okiura, i watch a animation cut animated by them then just observe by slowing down footage or click it frame by frame. That's where today's webgens learned to animate by just watching a cut of a specific animator on SakugaBooru then observe it how they move or how that animator timed their motions of the character pose to pose or effects. But not just observe a cut, you need to learn the basics like the meaning of sakuga, genga, douga, timesheets, or anything related to sakuga or cuts that are reffered as good animation like character acting and motion, cloth, effects, background animations and so on and it's all in that helpful website. RUclips Sakuga AMVs is okay but SakugaBooru is the pro feature of looking up individual cuts that you never seen in those YT sakuga videos
沖浦監督は作画の描き込み、ヌルヌル具合はもちろん神だし、他の監督方よりもずば抜けて凄さと個性が出ていると思うのが表情の感情表現‼︎
ちゃんと人間の表情してますよね~

Hello!? Tatsuyuki Tanaka!?
@@br3akstuff Tanaka’s fantastic, too. I wish he were still as active as the others, tho.

He's just the master! I particularly love the little touches he adds, like Batou's slight arm swing at 4:12. It's eerie how alive his animation feels.
Thank you for introducing me to this beatiful song and artist.
I don’t have the words … music , animator, perfect mad !
