Thanks so much for running the test. I was researching for a suitable mop head attachment for my Dyson. Your video definitely helps me decide to NOT BUY this attachment :) Thanks again for the work.
I just used mine for the first time. It’s not a deep cleaning sweep and mop but for maintenance I think it’s great. I have pets so I need to sweep and mop daily. This replaces my deep cleaning to once a week. I think it’s worth it.
All I have to say is wow and it is not worth the money. I am glad you did this to help people be aware of what poor products are out there. Wonderful job!
I LOVE IT! I found when I used a NATURAL GREEN spray floor cleaner it worked great. No line or marks left on the floor. So use a green environmental friendly product spray your floor and you will see the difference. These machine drop to much water so it is best just to spray and go. Do not move the cleaner so fast and just go up and down at a slower pace. Remember to much water on wood floors is not always good. Vinegar can actually take the shine of the floor if you do not mix it right. If your floors are really dirty you will definitely have marks left over no mater which way you clean them so, you may need to do extra cleaning and then stay on top of regular cleaning.
We just bought. The mop and it came with the wax pads. I can see using it for quick spot clean up. We are always spilling coffee. But for really mopping the floor i will use my BISSELL which is like. The second power mop that you have. Thanks for the demo. It helped me to see what the mop would really do.
@@HooverLux manual from my dyson clearly states that you should avoid vacuuming the water to do not damage the cleaner itself. So I assume they don't have water protection for electronic parts inside the dust chamber. So I'm really wondering why everyone starts buying this thing =)
@@JohnnyScuff if i not going to vacuums any water but will use this for only mop does it might damage it ? Even if i used the head without water and spray the floor?
Thank you so much for this review! I was considering getting one of these to see if it would fit on my Tineco Pure One s11. I have a Bissell Crosswave which is the only thing, aside from cleaning on my hands and knees, that has worked. I think maybe we have the same flooring-I have a high gloss laminate-and it streaks and shows everything unless you buff dry. The Crosswave is like a miracle. However, I entertained the idea of this attachment for the sake of being able to use only one machine. I will keep my system the way it is. Thanks again.
Hi PR....you seem to have some experience with these machines...do you know of a machine that will vaccume your carpets and also vaccume mop the hard floor surfaces...like a combo vac that does these things?
oh dang! I didn't realise it was this bad, I just brought one for my apartment and the entire apartment is covered in hard wood flooring, a nightmare to clean without marks. I just got this head attachment, so I guess I'll need to buy a mop vacuum instead, just expensive,
I know what u mean, they are expensive for the proper power mop, but your floors will be so much cleaner. To be honest a Vileda spin mop will do you so much better than the Dyson power mop
I was wondering how these performed and my suspicions were justified. Just like the bissell spin wave you just smudge dirty water everywhere. The best electric mops are the crosswave, tineco and hoover hard floor cleaners.
You are absolutely right! Unfortunately I didn’t find this video until it was too late! 🤦🏻♀️ I ended up returning it. It was total garbage didn’t clean anything!

I am shocked that many think that Dyson is the best vacuum brand out there. I mean I have talked with many people who think so in here Finland. Could it be that the reason it didn't work is cause one should get the pads wet before starting to use it? My friend is quite happy about hers, but I also think it's too expensive..
I did, you dunk the mop into the clean water and detergent mix, pop it in the second to squeeze, then mop and so on. Unfortunately it’s all one sided with the weight and your putting dirty water back in, which is fine because the detergent traps the dirt like a normal mop. This needs a third compartment to rinse before dunking back in clean detergent water.
