@@synthmalicious7541 No assholes here, my friend, thanks for your interest! The following is from the album's press release --- What's Tonight To Eternity remains a mix of pop culture indoctrination, pain and suffering, hopes and dreams, fierce confrontations and wide-open confessional blurs. Closing with the song "Heavy Metal" (dedicated to the memory of former Women bandmate Chris Reimer) and adorned by Andrea Lukic's Journal of Smack artwork, the album continues the bold and rewarding path on which Cindy Lee has embarked.
Today was a rough one and I came across your release via Women’s upcoming rarities release.. beautiful music and a beautiful video. I’m glad I had the chance to see you perform with Women and to see you perform as Cindy Lee. Beautiful video and song.. best fresh song I’ve heard since social distancing. Thank you, CL
hey, for whoever ends up reading this, can you give me suggestions from similar (both conceptually, aesthetically and musically) and not well known artists? i just got into cindy lee and i'm mesmerized
Trailer Trash Tracys - Candy Girl. Similar vintage sound with moody garage tone. ruclips.net/video/kgJbLQtaQps/видео.html. I would also recommend Dum Dum Girls and maybe Zola Jesus.
I think it’s important for bands to show different sides of emotion, and not necessarily have one sound. Check out Broadcast, they capture a beautiful surreal pop approach. Their album Haha Sound has some similar feel songs. Also, just classic soul and R&B. It’s the human sound.
All in this vein: Paperfangs (and other EPOP Covers artists on the Free Music Archive); Mack Aroni's "Lofi Spirit"; Karina Gill's projects Cindy and Flowertown, and her collaborator, Tony Jay ... Czech group The Ecstasy of Saint Theresa; 60s band The Rising Storm ... Also: La Luz; Ela Orleans; Cigarettes After Sex; Linda Smith; Toyah; and maybe more mainstream acts like Julee Cruise, Mazzy Star, Widowspeak and Angel Olsen ... enjoy the discovery!
love this, i'm going to have to put this on repeat. its a good feeling when you can still be inspired by original music that comes out of nowhere. keep up the great work pat!
that is insanely good.... rich and texturally, intimate. Lyrically ever, so encompassing of a deeper thread... of loves topsy/turvey... looking forward to the death metal cover of this... by some swedish band!
PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF SATAN, MAKE A LYRIC VIDEO FOR 'PRAYER OF BAPHOMET' THAT'S JUST AS BEAUTIFUL!! I'VE WANTED TO COVER IT, BUT I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE LYRICS ARE!! Sign, A Hysterically loyal fan
I'm glad I lived long enough to hear this
I know exactly what you mean.
Are you still alive Three years later?
Are you gonzo?

REAL ASF
I love this song more than i love myself
Oh, come on now. You don't mean that. Although, I did say that same thing the first time I heard Jesus and Mary Chain. I do love Cindy Lee!
crying so hard to this. it's really perfect
What a beautiful way to remember the sad passing of Chris Reimer, a broken heart still beating among us.
Forever 💙
I don’t wanna seem like an asshole, but how do you know this is a tribute to Chris Reimer? I miss him as well.
