  • I this video I take an old landscape rake and convert it over to work with my harbor freight quick hitch on my John Deere 650. I walk through all the steps I take to make this older implement quick hitch compatible. As always, any questions or comments you leave are appreciated and thank you for watching.

I keep a rake attached to my Kubota most of the time. It is very versatile and levels ground better than most people think possible. Love it. And of course, it cleans up rocky ground great.

I completely underestimated how versatile it was and how much I would use it until I got one.

Thanks for making this video. Great video and sound. That is exactly what I want to do to a new to me scraper blade I just got. I have been searching the internet for a video of how to do this. I am a mechanic, but I am not a welder. Maybe this will be the project I learn to weld on.

You should share pics of your modifications on our Facebook group. Just so you know I am not a welder either. Just started using one and figured out how to get a little better(still not great at it). Lol

I need to adapt my landscape rake too, but only the top link needs to be fixed to make it QH compatible. Thanks for the ideas on how to do it. Cheers from Montana!
