Re the grind, I actually enjoy farming the TD's in the overworld - but if I don't want to do it, I don't feel I have to as rewards include many helpful items such as morphable/malleable echoes etc. Hated going to dungeons in Genshin... having to do the same one 50x was brain rotting. Don't get me started on having to wait for certain days for talent level up materials!! grrr
gi is disgusting in every way when it comes to farming . i quit last year and played hsr and now only play WUWA and PGR . i am happy and having fun at least this time .
I did try to come back to genshin. When my map with a lot of waypoint that i didn't unlock, i just nah, i don't want to, limited stamina is pain and climbing take so many times. Schedule dungeon is very annoyed af. Why should i remember the schedule in the f-ing game? Sure the dungeon is easy but it's annoying when we need to face 3 waves. How about make it 1 like wuwa? It ain't that hard. They have a lot of money. But act like they are very small company 😕

i believe the kuro devs are also gamers as they really love doing what they are doing. they are not simply doing things to earn money but to really create a game that would give the best to its players not just for the company.
As someone who started playing genshin in 4.6 and has almost 100% everything and also plays wuwa. I would still say i like genshin more, the story, lore and characters are just way better. Also i like the world more it feels more magical and anime like. My only negative about genshin is the material domains. Its annoying af.
Genshin just feels like such a chore to play, even though I like the game at its core the devs refusal to do the same changes wuwa has done in just a few months is crazy. Very anti player game
what makes Depth of Illusive Realm so much fun, at least to me, is you not only get to control some chars you don't own, or fully upgraded, but also give you a new way to use them off-meta, with your own choice, without changing your build or such (Defensive Changli? Why not? DPS Shorekeeper or Yuanwu? go nuts!). Not to mention, it's another way to tell you to be ok to use only 1 char, just to highlight how awesome the combat in the game is. as for talented and ascension materials, what makes the one from Wuwa less hassle, aside being available 24/7, is that they categorized which weapon they will use, so it's very easy to pre-farm them without the need of leak info. The moment they announced Camellya will use sword, I already know what materials I need to pre-farm, unlike Genshin where all of those materials, aside boss ascension mat, are pure guess words. the fact that Genshin still have schedule domain, whereas ZZZ doesn't have that in the first place, baffled me. Sure, ZZZ isn't an open-world game, but it's gacha game to the core, just like Wuwa and Genshin, so not being an open-world game doesn't neglect the point I made. I've seen Genshill got malding when HSR got Dr. Ratio for free, so ...
when u can lv10 a skill without needing an event material, looking at u crown from gi, then u can easily max a unit weeks if not max which says a lot how they respect their players and just want to test that new character for their content. no crying greedy crocs as well hehe
My Shorekeeper usually runs as a sub dps, with Jue with healing bonus and another spectro echo+ rest are healing echoes. I tend to forget to switch somtimes if I get into the zone, so I build all characters to pack at least a bit of a punch. Baizhi has been my mvp a few times, saving my skin against bosses.

Genshin's biggest sin is how unabashed the devs are about content that's meant to waste your time. It's like the devs just said 'I know this is just to waste your time. You know it. But you're going to do it for the 60 primos'.
i dunno but i have no issue with the materilas like i have 1000 of them and i have built quite a lot of chara already and i never run out of them. i have like 2,000 tuners, 250+ golden echo exp and 250+ purple echo exp
i struggle with echoes bc i always roll shit substats so there's nothing they can do to fix my problems unless they make customizable echoes which i doubt

i mostly just had issues with the weekly boss matts, but maybe the issue will go away slowly cause at the start we need to build too many characters
