My favorite is 'Truth : Shall set you free' by Aman Jain. I read it recently and his philosophical ideas and introspection of the complex phenomenon of life is marvellous, and present an untraditional way of viewing the world. It is the most thought provoking book in my opinion.

Acharya Prashant the greatest philosopher of 21st century.
He is graduated from IIT Delhi, IIM Ahmedabad and former IAS.
Dude!!! The greatest??
you kidding right?
@@mytho_raj he just know one, so he is right😂😂😂
Average andhbhakt
I think he has a very clear mind, but definitely not a philosopher
I am currently reading meditation by Marcus I am not reading plato because I asked GPT to act like him my concept became more clear like when he said we see circles around us in our mind we have a perfect circle that perfect circle comes from ideal world it helped me clear a lot of concepts about theory of ideal world theory of forms but I don't think it lasts last today The other things definitely do. I was able to point out the mistakes in the theory of forms.
I would ask people to debate chat GPT or use it to improve your concepts it's fun it's engaging and it definitely adds something new to your arsenal.
Haven't read philosophy ever... Will definitely try one..
Thanks for including pooh taoism 😊😊
Thank yyou Sir ❤️🙏

Brother one recommendation for you. Must read Acharya prashant.
Sir can you say which is best offline dictionary app, which will be helpful for reading books and find difficult words without internet ?
Plato is the founding father of western* philosophy :) As you said East has had these complex philosophies for a much much longer time: Bhagwad Gita, Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism. Also, Taoism is Chinese not Japanese. Japan had(and still do) Shintoism before Buddhism was introduced. Great videos btw. :)

Read your own religious scripture, go through Veda, go through Bible, go through Quran, choose wisely which is more scientific and logical. Then, just stop thinking what is causing you depression. Indeed, your after life is more greater than this. So, don't waste this life. Peace be upon you.
I’m currently reading ‘a cartoon introduction to philosophy’. It’s is such a great way to understand the many complicated topic of philosophy very simply. Do check it out.
I have'nt read Vedas. But I learn that Vedas are all about life's lessons and life principles. I feel that philosophy and Vedas have lot
to offer in common to the ardent readers. Pls. tell where these books
of philosophy are availble & whether affodable to common readers. Even second hand books

What about UPANISHADS......
Bro you missed indian philosophy suggest some of them

Not to think about anything is Philosophy = to see as it is ,I may be wrong 😌😌
Reading philosophy better than self help books
Dei epdida irukka....unna paathu romba naal aachupa
7:29 , I don't agree , philosophies should never be compared
Woah.. wait. Nietzsche hated Nihilism. That's the main theme of 'Thus spoke Zarathustra'

Wait what I hope its sarcasm
😂
These books are not at all for beginners. Moreover philosophical understanding comes up with context. To understand existentialism one needs to know essentialism then it'll be easy to grasp things like nihilism and absurdism and so on. Practically these books are for people studying academic philosophy. These books are with heavy terminologies and a novice would definitely loose interest in it. Rather you can suggest books like Sophie's world, history of philosophy or simply introduction to philosophy books. And western philosophy is derivative of eastern philosophy? Really? This comment is not at all right. Western philosophy is more diverse than indian . Indian philosophy is more about speculative metaphysics (except Carvaka nyaya) but western is more diverse and Academic.
Bro included beyond good and evil and metamorphosis and said these are easy reads
If all that philisophy was so cool, greeks d not have evaporated 😏😏😏
Hmmm. Interesting. What do you want to philosophise about?
Archangel Michael
Indian philosophy, is which can not be compared and not any one can study it ,
You haven't recommend one book. It is very easy to understand philosophy. The book's name is Sophie's world
Interesting
Thanks for the recommendation!
Study your mind. You will get knowledge of all in a nutshell 😂
Start with Bhagavad Gita
1. Socratic Dialogue
2. The republic by plato
3. Letters from a stoic by
seneca
4. Meditations by marcus aurelius
5. Siddhartha by hermann
hesse
6. Tao Te Ching by LAO - TZU or The tao of pooh by benjamin hoff (for easy understanding)
7. The stranger by albert Camus.
8. The metamorphosis by frans kafka
9. Beyond good and evil by Friedrich Nietzsche
10. The pig that wants to be eaten by Julian Baggini.
11. Plato and Platypus walk into a bar.
Sorry to say brother. You actually know nothing about philosophy! Eastern philosophy is very vast. Many schools. Where are advaita, dvaita, mimansa, nyaya, carvaka, kashmiri shaivas? No mentions. Secondly western philosophy is not only about plato, stoics and existentialism. Pre Socratic, socratic, aristotlean, Cartesian, Hegelian, Marxian, Husserl's phenomenology, structuralism, Frankfurt school, post structuralism. Where?
I don’t believe anybody knows everything about philosophy 😇 this video was just my pov, based on what I have read . I mentioned that in the video. I never said I know everything 😇 I would love to see a video of you talking about these, please enlighten us, thank you!
