Good one... looking forward to the full review. IMHO a 'gaming' chromebook just means it's going to be of a decent spec to run ChromeOS like a hot knife through butter. I picked up the other gaming chromebook for this reason a few months back... the ACER 516 GE 16" (256GB SSD, Intel Core i5-1240P, 1.70GHz, 8GB RAM). Unfortunately not as good a bargain as this but not too far off. :)
Cheers Ralph. Same thought for me on the gaming Chromebook, just decent specs and build all round. The Acer looks great and does have the 2 extra cores on the i5-1240P compared to the i5-1235U in the Lenovo. Whether I'd notice the difference 99% of the time in ChromeOS, not so sure.
Thanks. Cheapest I'd ever seen for one of these at a decent refurb level and the fact that it was the highest spec in the model line... I was very pleased 😎! One of my best Chromebook buys this year. I'm really keen to take a look at a Chromebox and share more on those on the channel sometime. Which one do you have?
@@MergeDroid None. I used to buy Asus CN6X Chromeboxes. They can be upgraded. Frankly. I got tired of waiting. Chromeboxes are either non existant or very expensive in Canada. So I went the Flex route. Never been happier. 😊

This can be a great Chromebook for work that i was thinking of, but I bought HP dragonfly i7 32/512 for 600 euro. Anyway at what temperature fans starts to spin? Are they load?
Nice Chromebook you have there! Glad you can appreciate this one too. As for the fans, I'll cover these in the full review once I've used it enough 👍 Please subscribe with notifications turned on if you want to see that when I upload it 🔔

I'm not a gamer but always wanted multi-color back lighting. I'd go with purple or green.
Nice. Yeah, I feel like this would be a massively popular feature on regular Chromebooks and laptops too 😎 Extra handy at Christmas time too! 🎄 😂

@@MergeDroidprobably not tbh.
@RalphAverbuch 👍
You got a great deal. I'm a Chromebox user but I'd love a CrOS lighted RGB keyboard.👍
