Hey how did you set the res to 1080? I can only pick about 4 resolutions and it doesn't go any higher than 1360x768... Other, newer games run fine at 1080p so its definitely not a hardware thing.
+ncshuriken Sorry for the late reply. I had a problem with this also, I ended up going into the config file and manually setting the resolution that way. The config file is in the following locations: GOG version: %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Remedy\AlanWake_GOG_Version Steam version: %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Remedy\AlanWake\Steam\userdata\\108710 Hope this isn't too late to help!
Just 60 FPS PC Videos Thanks man I'll give that a go, nah it isn't too late, I took a break from the game (I'm guessing about 2/3 into the story) so there's still more to be seen! I wonder what causes this 'bug'...Cheers!
ncshuriken It's just another lazy PC port, that's all. But manually setting the resolution worked fine, and it stuck for the rest of the game for me. Should only take you a few seconds to fix it!
ncshuriken No worries, good luck getting it working! Fun game, well worth playing I think. Especially since I got this during a Steam sale for $3 I think.
