The Eastman and Touchstone acoustic guitars are excellent value, sound great but do have a glue like smell. The Martin would have a more woody natural aroma. Can’t go wrong with either!
I’ve had my eye on a D-18 for awhile. Yours sounds amazing. There‘s nothing wrong with the Touchstone, but I don’t think it’s close to the Martin. It would be interesting to hear it compared with a Lewiston Country Boy.
You need to do a comparison with a D15M street master and the BROMO BAR 1 HM ALL-SOLID DREADNOUGHT GUITAR $349.95 sold on Rondo's website. It's obviously a total solid body dread martin copy for 349.95.....not sure I love the top....not a very nice grain on some of them but...I heard a few on youtube and they sound pretty good....the 5 piece neck isn't a true 5 piece according to Rondo but....still should reinforce it a bit. This seems to be the cheapest all solid body guitar on the market. (next to the travel guitar they sell for 239.95)
I'll buy the Martin every time. The real deal from the real company that created the dreadnaught, or a Chinese built copy that has a Boutique guitar builders name on it. They both cost ruffly the same. Whom do you patronize? Bourgeois lost all creditability in my book when they decided to price Touchstone Chinese copies at $3000 or more.
My D18 (purchased because of watching you all these years) has a very particular smell
Would’ve been better if he played them and you never touched them, the neck shapes alone give it away
Agree 100%
Hard agree
I like how Jeremy still looks at his left hand even though he is blindfolded

The Bourgeois's neck has a soft V, which defeats the purpose of this blind test.
Other than the value they are pretty similar.

Country boy sounds amazing
You cheated by smelling it!
